Hey guys! If you read last chapters author notes, then you know this is basically a filler. I'm still going for the daily goal. So.......INTO THE STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eli's POV

I can't believe it. She's actually here. She's blushing I can tell. I put her down before she hurts herself struggling.

"Eli! I can't believe you're actually here! You weren't supposed to show up until the Dark Moon." She says in complete awe.

"I couldn't just leave you like that. You needed my help so I came." I state emotionlessly. The Dark Moon. Her Primal Ritual. Now that I think about it, when's the Cold Moon? I try to remember, but her smile interrupts my thoughts. She's smiling again. Why? Is she happy to see me? Do I look funny? I have no idea what is going on. Why are emotions so difficult?

"Hmph. You're the same old quiet Eli. Funny. I thought you would have changed without me. Then I wouldn't have had to change you." She says chuckling.

"You are the only one who can change the fact whether I feel or not." I say giving her a small smile. How does she do it? I can't feel when I'm with the others, but I can feel when I'm around her? I'm so confused.

"Eli?! What are you doing out here?!" I hear a man say shocked. I erase my smile before facing the voice. It was Thymes, my twin. Great. I was hoping I didn't have to explain anything. "What are you doing with Rift this late at night?"

"I was just checking on her. She said she needs help controlling her emotions, so I came. Is there a problem?" I state trying to keep my signature glare in check.

"No. Well yes. Yes and no. You aren't sticking to the plan Eli. None of us have really. Thylis is the only one who actually has." Thymes says with concern. Quit making excuses. I know you're just jealous. You've always hated it when she was alone with someone else.

"This concerns me how? It was unnecessary and you know I hate unnecessary things. You didn't have to tell me. I already knew." I say looking away.

"I better get going. They might notice I'm gone. I'll see you guys later." Rift says before walking away. Once she was a good distance away I spoke up.

"What the heck?! Why did you have to do that?"

Rift's POV

It was good seeing Eli again. He smiled! That's a major sign of how happy he is! It makes me feel better. Knowing that we all are here in Phoenix Drop. So now I can't feel alone. I think this last thought before climbing into my bedroom window only to find Garroth and Laurence waiting for me. Oh no. Now they are gonna get suspicious.

"Where were you?" Garroth asks with a stern look on his face.

"I was getting some fresh air in the forest." I say trying to not be sarcastic.

"Hmm....okay I believe you. You were just accused and you needed a moment alone, I get it." Laurence says trying to defend me.

"Laurence I think you're right. Rift I do believe you. If you had asked us we would have said no. I completely understand why." Garroth confirms.

"Get some sleep. And don't sneak out." Laurence warns.

"Fine." I say before getting in bed. Not long afterwards I fall into a deep sleep.

<Dream Sequence>

I see a giant tree. It's pink and glows in the darkness. I watch as I see multiple different colored lights appear. One white, one red, an icy blue, a bright green and a dark green. They all surround me as I watch in awe. I try to touch one of them, but before I could everything lit up in a blinding light.

<End of Dream Sequence>

I open my eyes to see a ceiling. I quickly sat up and realize that someone was in my bedroom.

Hey guys! Boom cliffhanger! I'm sorry if this chapter was a tiny bit shorter, but I made it the way it is on purpose. Now that's it for now.
