Jungkook's POV

Finally, finally, we finished our exams.
But it also means new semester is starting.

But I didn't spend my time thinking about the next semester. I might as well enjoy it while were on a break. And I'm really enjoying it because after the finals, things had been going really good.

First of all, it's finally Christmas break.

From all six of us, no one decided to go home.

"Last Christmas break, Tae wasn't here with us. And now that he's actually here, wouldn't it be awesome to celebrate Christmas together? And plus, Jungkookie is here! And Hobi hyung said he can join us too!" Jimin said, too excitedly.

But I agree with him.

It's not like I'm lonely back home. I just really have few friends. And only one person who I can really trust from all of them. Which is Hoseok.

"Unless you guys really want to go home to your family..." Jimin quickly added.

"Actually, that's a good idea." Yoongi hyung agreed almost right away.

It was followed by lots of agreements and we decided to celebrate Christmas together.

"But where's the sleepover?" Taehyung asked, literally clapping his hands from excitement.

"Jin hyung's dorm!! His and Jungkook's is the cleanest and biggest dorm compare to our dorms." Jimin said, joining Taehyung, and now they're both clapping their hands like a stupid seal.

"Why?" I said, whining a little.

"Aw, come on! It'll be fun!" Taehyung said, clinging into my arm.

I just rolled my eyes at him.

"The result's out!!" Jimin said, screaming inhuman noises with Taehyung.

We all went to our own classrooms and got our papers back.

Mine was folded so I didn't see my mark right away.

'Mom, dad, I'm sorry if I failed you. I promis-' my thought got cut off when I saw the result.

I passed.

'YES!!!!' I internally screamed and a huge grin appeared suddenly on my face.

As soon as we got our papers, the teacher dismissed us, Christmas break officially starting.

I saw Taehyung walking in the hallway as I got out of my classroom.

"V HYUNG!" I shouted after him, a little too loudly.

People stared at me and gave me confused and judging look.

They can stare all they want, I couldn't care less.

"Kookie?" I heard him say, even though I'm still a few feet away from him.

Once I caught up to him, I gave him the biggest smile.

"You owe me something." I said, still grinning widely.

Despite being confused, he couldn't help grinning back at me.

"What?" He asked.

"I passed." I said. Even though it's only the first semester, I'm still glad I passed it. It's medical for pete's sake!

"Really?!! Omg! Congrats! I heard your course is really hard." He said, and he started patting the top of my head, even though I'm few inches taller than him.

I scrunched up my nose from the gesture.

"So, what do you want then?" He asked, fishing out his wallet.

I grinned.

"1 box of pizza, 1 energy drink, and dozen donuts." I said. I know I'm being cruel. I'm just in the mood of teasing him since I'm too happy. I'm actually just gonna ask him for a japchae.

"Ok." He said and started walking. I didn't expect him to agree right away. I actually thought that he'll start whining like a baby and that he'll start calling me a pig or something. I even prepared a little speech about why it's important for me to eat lots of food.

"Wait, wait! V hyung!" I called after him.

He turned around to face me.

"I was just joking! You don't have to buy me that much. You're not spending your allowance just for those foods, ok? Especially now that you're not going home. You're not getting more allowance from your parents. And I'm pretty sure you don't work anywhere." I said a little too fast.

I heard him chuckle.

I looked up at him, and he's just there standing while laughing a little.

"You're so cute, Kookie! You're worried about my allowance? Aww." He said and started squishing my cheeks.

I stared at him confused and I grabbed his hands and took it away from my face.

"Seriously." I said, with a serious face.

"Don't worry." He said and winked.

He turned his back once again and started walking out. I followed after him.

Instead of going out of the campus, we went to the parking lot.

"What are we doing here?" I asked, catching up to Taehyung.

He ignored me and continued to walk.

"What? You have a car?" I said, sarcastically.

He then stopped in front of a shiny black Audi car.

"What if I have?" He said and pulled out his car keys.

He took the remote of the car and unlocked the car.

He went to open the door for the driver's seat and got in.

I jus stood there, gaping at his expensive looking car.

I snapped out of it and quickly went to the passenger's seat.

"What the hell?" I said as soon as I finished putting on my seat belt.

He ignored me once again and started the engine.

"V hyung? V hyung!" I said again, louder this time.

"What?" He asked, driving out of the campus.

"Where did this come from?" I asked, completely confused. Seriously, Taehyung? With a fancy ass car like this? No way.

He laughed. He just laughed.

He turned his attention to me and away from the road.

"I stole it." He said, his voice full of seriousness. He smirked when he saw my eyes widen in shock.

"W-what the...?" I said, suddenly stuttering.

He laughed. Again.

"Come on, Kookie! I will never steal something. For fuck's sake you actually believed it." He said while shaking his head lightly.

"W-well..." I said not knowing what to say after that.

"But, where did you get it though?" I asked again, quitely this time.

"I bought it. Lets just say I have more money than you thought." He said, giving me a small smile before returning his attention to the road again.

I didn't ask any more questions because I can feel that Taehyung is avoiding it.

I sighed and decided to just look out the window.

First, we stopped by on a pizza restaurant. Taehyung told me to just stay in the car while he orders the box of pizza. I protested against it, of course. I told him that I can do it, but he's a lot stubborn and I ended up following what he told me to do.

After a few minutes, he came back with a box of pizza in his hands. He gave it to me when he entered the car.

"Thanks, hyung. You don't really need to buy those foods that I told you awhile ago. It was just a joke. I was planning on just buying Japchae." I said, still feeling a little guilty.

He waved his hand as if to say, It's nothing.

Next, we went to buy dozen donuts and two energy drinks for the two of us. Then we bought japchae.

I thought after buying all the foods that were going back to our dorms. But instead, I noticed he's driving towards the park.

I didn't question him because I think it would be nice to eat there. And I don't really want to go back to the dorm yet.

When we reached the park, we quickly found a spot to park the car. We got off with all of the foods we bought (well, I guess the foods that  V hyung bought).

We chose the spot under a tree that has the view of the lake. It's a really nice spot.

We took our foods there and then we sat.

"Thanks, hyung." I said, a little shyly. I'm not really sure why.

"No problem. You worked hard. I know that medical is not easy at all." He said, giving me a genuine smile that immediately made my heart melt. I'm not sure why either.

We stayed silent for awhile, eating the pizza together.

"So, why business major?" I asked, breaking the silence. I saw Taehyung stills at the sudden question.

"I-I just want to be my brother. Yeah, that's it." He said. But he seems to be talking to himself. And when he said it, he wasn't looking at me, he was looking at his lap.

"You have a brother?" I asked, suddenly curious about Taehyung's private life. I'm pretty sure he never mentioned anything about his private life.

"Yeah. His name is Baekhyun. He's older than me too." He said, smiling at the thought of his brother. I can see that Taehyung really admires his hyung.

"I also have an older brother. He's in military right now." I said. It just seems like the right thing to do, to share something about my life as well.

Another silence followed after that.

And without realizing, we already finished all of our food and the sun is setting.

"Well, that was nice. Thanks again, hyung." I said and I really mean it. I feel so happy.

"Yeah, it was nice. We should do this more often, yeah?" Taehyung said, turning to face me and giving me his smile that reached his eyes. I smiled back.

"Yeah." I said. Then, Taehyung scooched over until our shoulders are touching. I froze at the sudden contact but I didn't move away. I feel warmer inside and it feels nice. Damn, it's nice.

And suddenly, Taehyung's calloused hand reached over to mine. I looked at our intertwined hands and looked up at him. Taehyung just gave me a smile and turned to look at the sky.

"It's nice, isn't it?" Taehyung asked. I'm not sure if he's talking about the sunset or the holding hands. I really don't know. But I found myself saying,

"Yeah, it is."

We sat side by side, holding hands, while watching the beautiful sunset. It is really nice. So damn nice.
