______________________________________________

It had been a few days since the death of Endeavour, and things were starting to calm down now. After informing the second in command of Endeavour's army that the king was dead, Shoto took charge, and was now pretty much the new ruler of his father's kingdom. When Yaoyorozu and Shoto got back to the island, King All Might scolded them for doing  something so dangerous and reckless, and putting their lives on the line. However, it wasn't so bad since the king did say he was grateful and surprised that a few teens could take down a monster like Endeavor.

Ships sailed out to get food from neighboring kingdoms since the large island was short on food and the people on the island were hungry, but became overjoyed when the first ship arrived, carrying food like fresh meat and vegetables.

Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, along with Uraraka, stood at the edge of the courtyard and looked from a far as they watched Bakugou tighten his bag of supplies onto the saddle that was set onto the dragon's back, preparing to leave, and prince Midoriya speaking to him.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay Bakugou, you are more them welcomed to stay here for as long as you like" Midoriya spoke to the ash blond teen, who glanced over at him, a more calm look over his face. "Yeah I'm sure, I have things to attend to, and have to settle thing's, some personal and some not" Bakugou spoke as he turned to the green haired teen, and pointed to the dragon.

"And besides, I need to get Kirishima freed from this curse so he isn't a dumb dragon for the rest of his life" Bakugou spoke, a smirk on his face, and reviving a displeased huff from the red dragon. Midoriya only nodded.

"Alright, just don't get into any trouble".

"You know that's going to be hard when Bakugou is a literal trouble magnet". Bakugou, Midoriya and Kirishima turned their heads to see Todoroki, Yaoyorozu and Uraraka walking over to them, as Uraraka spoke.

"Well she isn't wrong, just don't get yourself killed" Todoroki joked, as he looked to the warrior, who only nodded as he hoisted himself up and into the saddle, looking down at the others. "Yeah yeah, I'll try not to" Bakugou replied as he rolled his eyes. "Good luck with rebuilding your kingdom, cause right now it's a fucking mess right now. I hope by the time I get back, things are better" Bakugou told Todoroki seriously, remembering the times he traveled to the Endeavour kingdom, only to be met with great poverty, illness, unfair treatment of people and more. He always had a hatred for the king and how he ruled his kingdom, but maybe when he came back, if he came back, things will be better.

"Don't worry, we'll make things a lot better for everyone, so just you wait" Yaoyorozu spoke with confidence in her voice, and a determined look in her eye, which Todoroki smiled at. "Good to hear. Well, I guess I'll see you all around!" Bakugou yelled, as the mighty dragon raised it's wings, and flew into the air, sending a large gust of wind, nearly pushing the other 4 teens back.

Once they all steadied themselves, they watched as the red dragon flew into the air, and made it's way westward, and disappeared from their views as it went over the wall. They all stood their for a few moment's in silence, until Uraraka decided to speak.

"So Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, what are you two planing to do now?".

Yaoyorozu froze up at the question. What was she going to do now? She had no where to go and didn't really have a place to call home anymore. He home was burnt to the ground, her family was killed, and she never thought about what would happen after this fight was over.

"I'm not sure, maybe just travel around? I don't really know what to do with myself anymore, and I don't have anywhere to go, so I'm at a lost with what to do" Yaoyorozu said truthfully as she turned to Uraraka.

"What are you talking about, you're coming with me, aren't you?"

Yaoyorozu turned her head towards Todoroki, who had a smirk on his face. "After all, you did promise to stay by my side, and you just said there that your going to help me rebuild the kingdom, did you not?" Todoroki told Yaoyorozu, now smiling towards her instead of smirking.

The girl laughed nervously. "I guess I did say that, so I'll keep my promise, and stay by your side" Yaoyorozu replied, turning towards Todoroki.

"Oh, and one more thing" she spoke, now looking serious as Yaoyorozu looked to Todoroki, who was now getting nervous. Yaoyorozu took a few steps closer to Todoroki, before raising her hand, and slapped him across the face with some force, causing him to stumble back. Todoroki reached his hand towards where Yaoyorozu hit him, and felt the stinging pain in his cheek.

Before Todoroki could question the girl and why she just slapped him, she spoke first.

"That's for all the shit you've put us through and getting yourself captured and making me worry about you" Yaoyorozu told Todoroki, now looking a bit more calm, before walking back over to him. Todoroki closed his eyes, expecting to be slapped again, but that never happened.

Instead, Todoroki felt Yaoyorozu placing her two hands on his cheeks, and pulling him closer to her until their lips touched in a kiss. Todoroki was confused, but leaned into the kiss, but it wasn't very long for the girl pulled away seconds later, smiling sweetly and a small blush across her face. "And that's for you coming back safely, and because I love you".

Todoroki looked at  Yaoyorozu for a few moments, but that surprise and shook was soon washed away by the feeling of joy, as he wrapped his arms around the girl, and hugged her tightly. "I'm beyond happy that your okay and safe, and I love you to" Todoroki told Yaoyorozu, who just hugged him back equally as tight, resting her head on his shoulder, which Todoroki enjoyed.

"So what do you say? Would you like to stay with me and help out rebuilding my, or in this case, our, kingdom?" Todoroki questioned Yaoyorozu, as he looked to her. Yaoyorozu felt her face heat up at what Todoroki said. Our kingdom. Our. Like in as they both rule it. Yaoyorozu felt happiness fill her, and buried her face more into Todoroki's shoulder, trying to hide her red face.

"O-okay, I'll help you" she spoke, before letting out a small laugh. "And when you said our, it sounds funny. Like what, you want me to be your queen?" Yaoyorozu asked jokingly. "Well you could be if you wanted to" Todoroki replied, his own face heating up from embarrassment. He didn't want Yaoyorozu to leave him and go travel if he was being honest. He wanted her to stay close, and he enjoyed her being with him. He did love her, and if he were to marry someone when he turns 18, he would pick Yaoyorozu over any girl in all the lands.

Yaoyorozu froze up at the question, and didn't say anything, instead snuggling into Todoroki more, showing that she did understand.

"Should we leave them to themselves?" Midoriya whispered to Uraraka, as they stood a few feet away from the couple, and they watched. "Yeah maybe we should, they look like they're having a moment. How about the two of use head back upstairs to my library, and I can us some biscuits and tea?" Uraraka suggested to the prince, a bright cheery smile on her face.

"Sure, that sounds like fun" Midoriya replied with a smile of his own, before Uraraka grabbed his hand, and they two of them walked of together.

Todoroki and Yaoyorozu stood there for a few more minutes, before pulling away from one another, their faces both a bit red. "So M'lady, should we head back home?" Todoroki suggested, as he held out his hand to Yaoyorozu, who places her own hand in his. "Yes, lets leave now, and make things better for everyone" Yaoyorozu spoke with a kind yet determined tone.

After that, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu talked to King All Might, and thanked him for the help he provided, and wished him the best of luck, which he replied to by hugging the two teens, and wishing them good luck with their goal of restoring the broken kingdom.

Soon, the two left the island by boat, and returned to the mainland. There, the powerful army awaited them with their two horses ready, and ready to take order from their new king. Of course, Todoroki's first request as king was to assemble the army, and to head back to their own kingdom, and then he would give further instructions.

Todoroki and Yaoyorozu hoisted themselves on to their horses, and watched as the army began to move, marching their way back in the direction they came from. As the two watched, Yaoyorozu turned her head back out towards the water and over to the island, a small frown on her face.

"Whats wrong?" Todoroki questioned Yaoyorozu, who turned her head back to him. "You do know that not everyone is going to forgive us after the actions of Endeavour. His actions can never be undone, and many people will not forgive the kingdom that we are returning to, no matter who is in-charge now. There will be people, inside and outside the kingdom that will hate us, no matter what we do" Yaoyorozu explained to Todoroki.

"I'm well aware of that, but it doesn't matter. As long as we do our best to do good, we'll be fine" Todoroki reassured Yaoyorozu, giving her a quick smile, before whipping the reins, and his horse raced off. Yaoyorozu rolled her eyes at her lovers actions, and did the same, and following close behind him, returning home.

* * *

The sound of pounding hooves hitting the forest floor could be heard, along with the sound of laughter, as the horse galloped though the dense forest, with the two passengers on it's back. "Now hold on tight" the king instructed his daughter, as he gripped the reins tighter, and the young princess holding on tightly to the saddle, as the horse jumped over a large fallen tree, and landed, continuing forward.

The child let out a shriek of joy, as they continued towards home. The king smiled at his daughters enjoyment. Every evening, his daughter would always ask him to let her go with him to the closest town on the horse and back, and he could never say no to her.

Soon, the sight of their home came into view, as they raced up the hill towards it, going up the cobblestone twisted path. They ran through the gates, and the king hopped off, and brought the horse to a stop. "Alright princess, time to get down" the king spoke, as he reached up and hoisted his daughter down.

"Aww can we go around one more time? Please dad? Ppplllleeeeaaassseee" his daughter begged as she cupped her hands tightly around the few poppy flowers she had, and tried to convince her father. He only chuckled. "No, I'm sorry darling, but it's getting late, and besides, you need a bath" he spoke as he reached up, and pulled a leaf from her dark grey hair. "You have twigs in your hair from rolling around the forest floor" the king told her, as he handed the reins to one of the stable boys, who took the horse away.

The young girl only huffed. "Now lets go. Once you have you bath, I may read you a bedtime story before you go to sleep" he told her, and watched as he grey eyes lit up. "Okay! I'll just give these to mother and then I'll have my bath!" she exclaimed, as he raced off back inside the castle, racing up the stairs to have her bath and to give her mother the red poppy flowers she had collected. If there is one thing she loved, it was stories.

The king chuckled, as he walked back inside, a maid standing by the door, awaiting his arrival. "Did you have a good day King Todoroki?" the maid asked him kindly, as he handed her his heavy fur cape. "Indeed. I took Liebe out to the forest today, since she wanted to pick some flowers for her mother" King Todoroki replied to the maid. "How is she anyway?" he questioned.

"Much better sir. When you left, Lady Momo was feeling a lot better, and even got up and had a walk with Prince Alainn" the maid informed the king, as she folded his cape over her arm. "Thank you, I'm glad she is doing well. May I ask where she is now?".

"Last time I saw her was in her room your majesty" she told the king, as she walked away to put away the cape, and the king made his way up the spiral staircase towards the top. As he climbed up, Todoroki looked out the windows and looked over the land. There was great green forest all around, and in the far distance, the capital city that was not to far away.

King Todoroki felt a sense of pride and joy fill him. It's been nearly 16 years since they had come back after King Endeavors death, and their kingdom had changed a lot. The land was more wealthy, and there was little to no poverty left. The kingdom grew, and became quiet wealthy, although not as wealthy as the One For All kingdom not to far away.

The kingdom was no longer known for it's cruelty and brutality, but for it's kindness and it's fair justice. Although, the kingdom did still have one of the best armies throughout the land, and was still quiet powerful.

King Todoroki came to the bedroom door, and could hear voices on the other side of the door. Realizing who's voice it was, Todoroki smiled, and opened the door. Inside, the room was quiet large, with the door's of the balcony wide open, the light curtains swaying gently from the calm breeze that was coming in. On the bed, a beautiful woman with long black hair and shining grey eyes sat down, he back against the pillows. A blue book was in one of her hands, while her other hand stroke the black hair of a young boy who was next to her, peering into the book. On her other side, was Liebe, twigs still in her hair, and was also looking into the book and listening to the story.

"The wolf prowled closer to the lost boy, it's glowing eye's never looking away from him. "No! Don't eat me!" cried the boy, as he stumbled backwards, and into the mud. "Why would I eat you?" the wold asked, as he sat before the boy. "I know you are lost, so let me help you find your friend and get both of you back home" the wolf said" the woman read, smiling as she did so.

"I bet the wolf is tricking him" the young boy spoke, narrowing his eyes at the picture in the book. "No, I think he's a good wolf" Liebe spoke, as she looked to her brother, a annoyed look across her face. "What do you think mom? Do you think the wolf is good or bad?" the boy asked as he looked up at the beautiful woman.

"I already know if the wolf is good or not, since I read this story when I was as young as you Alainn" the woman spoke, a smile on her face and a chuckle escaping her lips. "Then who's right!?" Liebe questioned loudly, as she sat up straight, wanting to know the answer. The woman smirked. "Nope. I'm not going to say, you'll have to wait till tomorrow night" the woman told the two children, and the two began to plead for the answer.

"Alright kids mother is still a little sick so let her rest up, and Liebe, I told you to go have your bath" Todoroki told the young princess, as he placed his hands on his hips. The three of them looked over at him from where they were. The little girl laughed.

"I was going to, but I saw mom reading The Wold Boy to Alainn and I wanted to listen to" Liebe told her father, as she pointed towards the book still in the woman's hand. "Well the two of you should go now. Liebe go have your bath and go to bed, and Alainn you can go and play for the next hours or so, but then you must go to bed, understood?" King Todoroki told his children, who both nodded.

"Okay, goodnight mom!" Liebe told the woman before giving her a quick hug, before hopping off the bed, and running out of the room, Alainn doing the same. Once they were gone, the king closed the door and dragged his hand over his face.

"Tired?"

Todoroki looked up to the woman, who was still sitting in the bed, placing the book on her nightstand that stood next to her bed. "Very. And how are you feeling today Momo?" Todoroki asked her, as he walked over and sat down on his side of the bed. "Much better. I felt well enough to go outside today, and Alainn walked around with me around the garden, and the two of us had some lunch by the pound today with was nice. And how about you? What did you and Liebe get up to today?" Momo asked, as she looked to her husband who sat next to her.

"Well Liebe came with me to the Capital, and while on our way back she collected some poppy flowers for you while in the forest" Todoroki explained, as he pointed to the small vase that sat next to the book with the red poppy's their daughter picked earlier. "I see. So we both had an eventful day today" Momo spoke, as she glanced out the window not to far away.

"I'm glad the kids are having fun" she spoke, mostly to herself.

Todoroki felt himself frown. He felt a wave of sadness flow over him, thinking back to his parents and childhood. How his father was away a lot, but when he was home, he was abusive, mostly to his mother, screaming at her and beating her, before eventually killing her years later. He remembered his mother was always scared. She was always scared when she would hear his father was coming home, or when she heard his thundering voice roaring her name. Because of how much fear she had of the man, it caused her to snap and pour boiling water over Todoroki's left eye. Although many would think to hate their parent for doing such a thing, Todoroki never hated his mother, not even once. Not for a moment.

He understood why she did it. She was scared. She just snapped under the fear. Todoroki know she regretted it for so long, by the look she gave him when she looked at the scared she gave him, reminding her that she was the one to cause her son harm. However, he still loved her. They would read stories together, go outside into the gardens, and have small picnics, and just talk. Those moments were his favorites. The quiet moments.

Todoroki knew Momo's childhood was far more better then his own, but he knew her one wasn't perfect either. She grew up with two loving parents, but her mother died with illness, leaving her father and herself alone. However, they were still happy. They had fun times, and were always so kind and helpful. Todoroki knew however that the night they came back to the Yaoyorozu kingdom, when it was burnt to ashes, and everyone was killed, that was one of the worst days for Momo. Loosing her home, her kingdom and her father all in one night.

That's why when they had their first son, Alainn, Todoroki promised himself that he would be the father he wished he had. He wanted to be a father his children could look up to and love, instead of fear like he did with his own father. He promised he would love his children unconditionally, and never raise a hand at them. He would be there for them, and trust them which he father never did or was.

No, Todoroki wasn't going to be anything like his father. He wasn't going scare or abuse his family, not like his father did. He wouldn't hit them, he wouldn't scream at them, he wouldn't throw them in the dungeons whenever they disobeyed him, like his father did.

"I am to. I'm glad we can give our children the family and life we wished we had when we were younger" Todoroki spoke, lowering his head, a very smile smile appearing on his lips. Momo turned her head back towards Todoroki, and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't think like that. Don't let our pass and history define our future. We are free to make our own decisions and we can do what we want to change what happens onward. Understood?" Momo told Todoroki, who lifted his head up, and nodded. He loved how his wife seemed far more wise then he ever could be. He admired her for her words and wisdom she gave him everyday, teaching him something new.

"I understand, I can't let the pass shackle me down and effect my actions and decisions now and in the future. Thank you Momo" Todoroki told her, before giving her a quick kiss on the lips, and standing up. "I'm going to check if the kids are getting ready for bed, and not running off somewhere to hide like last night" Todoroki said, causing Momo to laugh. "They are sure little rasckles when it comes to bed time" Momo responded with, causing the king to laugh as he nodded, as he made his way towards the door.

"Oh, and also, I received a letter from the One For All kingdom. Apparently, we are invited to their daughters first birthday" Momo explained to Todoroki as he turned to face her. "Emma's birthday? When is it?". "Next Sunday". "Alright, we have nothing planned, so we can go. I'll write a letter to them that we'll be attending after I put the children to bed" Todoroki smiled as he left the room, leaving Momo in bed.

She sighed. "Good luck" Momo smirked, as she picked up The Wold Prince, and began reading the short children's book, since it was her old childhood favorite.

* * *

"Liebe!? Alainn!? Where are you two!?" King Todoroki called out, looking everywhere around the castle for his two children, but with no luck. This was ridiculous. How hard is it to find two children? Well, apparently it's hard in a castle like this. Todoroki let out a tired sigh. Usually it was Momo who find the kids and put them to bed, since she knew all their hiding places, but Todoroki was never very good when it came to this.

As the king walked down the hallways of the castle, he looked around. Where would these two kids be? Maybe the library? No no, he already checked there. The kitchen? No the doors are locked by now and there be no fresh food left there at this time. Maybe the garden? No again, Liebe doesn't like going outside when it's dark.

The king sighed. How late is it now? It's surely past their bedtime by now. Should he ask Momo where they are? Oh no no no. Momo would get annoyed at him, tell him to go to bed, and she would leave the room to find the children herself. Todoroki didn't want that to happen for 2 reasons. Reason 1, Momo is still sick and needs rest, and 2, she will ignore him for the night and in the morning, which he didn't want. He hated being ignored or upsetting his wife.

Todoroki looked down at his hands, where a scroll was being held. He had written the letter to the One For All kingdom around half a hour after going on his search for the kids. As he walked, he took a right turn, and made his way towards the bird tower so he could send the message.

Todoroki still found it amazing that messages by birds was just recently invented, around 5 years ago by Uraraka. She was smart he will admit. With messages by bird, messages could be sent from kingdom to kingdom within a few hours, instead of a few days like it use to when they would deliver messages by horseback.

Todoroki crossed the bridge that connected the main castle to the bird tower, and opened the door and walked inside.Once inside, the sounds of birds flooded the room. Around the tower, were opening for birds to come in and out of, and many birds in cages hanging from the ceiling.  As soon as Todoroki stepped in, he stopped. Before him, was the man of the tower, Tokoyami, with his leather bird mask on his face, and a giant shadow like bird sitting on his arm, while speaking to Liebe and Alainn.

"This is my most precision bird in all of the tower. As you can see, he appears to be made out of some fog like shadow, making his quiet fast and quiet hard to see during night time while on delivery" the man spoke through his mask, lowering his arm, and allowing the children to pet the large bird.

"He's so cool" Alainn spoke, as his hand went right through the bird.

"Liebe, Alainn" Todoroki spoke, crossing his arms and looked to his children. Hearing their father's voice, the children spun around, and gave a worried smile, "O-oh hey father, we uh, got kinda distracted" Alainn spoke nervously, trying to put on his best smile. "I see. What are you two doing here anyway? It's way past your bedtime" Todoroki questioned them, as he stepped closer.

"We just wanted to see the birds very quickly, but then we ended up staying here as he told us about all the different birds he has" Liebe told her father truthfully, as he pointed to Tokoyami and the bird.

"Alright alright, but seriously now, time for bed" Todoroki told his children, as he picked up his youngest child, and then handed the scroll to the bird man. "I wish for you to send this to my good friend Izuku" Todoroki told the man, who took it and nodded.

"Alright, time for bed now" Todoroki spoke, as they three of them left the tower, and back to the main part of the castle. As they walked, they were quiet, as to not wake anyone up. "Father" Alainn spoke, catching his fathers attention. "Can you do some of that magic you can do?" his son asked of him, looking up at his father.

Todoroki nodded, as he shifted Liebe into his other arm, and held out his left hand, and a flame appeared. The two kids stared at the flame in aw and wonder. They had watched many time their father perform magic like this, but they still enjoyed watching it when he did use it.

Todoroki never told his children about how his magic was actually called a quirk, since not many people knew about quirks, and only some actually have them to this day, those people being himself, Momo and Uraraka. Uraraka had found a way for everyone to get their quirks back, but Momo and Todoroki voted against it, saying that if everyone had great power, it could lead to another great war.

As they walked down the corridor, only being lit by the moonlight outside and the flame from Todoroki's palm, they soon came to a large door. "Okay, goodnight dad" Alainn spoke tiredly to his father, covering his mouth to cover up a yawn, and opening the door to his room. "Goodnight son, I'll see you in the morning" Todoroki spoke, as his son only nodded and closed the door.

Todoroki made his way to the next door and opened it, walking inside and over towards the bed. "Liebe, time for bed" Todoroki whispered, and shook his daughter a bit, who only mumbled in response, to tired to use words. Todoroki chuckled lightly to himself, and he placed the young girl into her bed, and pulled the blankets over her.

"Goodnight darling" Todoroki whispered as he patted her head lightly and only getting a tired mumbled as a response once again, before walking over to the door, and closing it behind him.

Todoroki made it back to his own room minutes later, and slowly and quietly opened the door. It was dark inside, the only light coming from outside from the half moon. He quietly walked over to the king sized bed, where his wife was sleeping peacefully. Todoroki smiled to himself, as he kicked off his boots, and got under the covers, letting out a tired yawn.

As he closed his eyes, he slowly reached over and held his wife's warm hand softly, and smiled to himself. How did he become so lucky? How was he so blessed with a beautiful, strong and caring wife, and two amazing, smart and talented children?

Todoroki honestly didn't know.

Todoroki was happy. He was happy how his life had ended up. He went though so much, and was then given so many amazing things. A wife. Two wonderful children. An amazing home. A good life.

Would he change anything?

Would Todoroki change his past?

No.

Todoroki wouldn't change a think. He wouldn't change anything about this.
