Todoroki P.O.V
It was early morning I believe, judging by the fact that I had to close my eyes a little tighter with the sunlight pouring into the room and into my eyes. I then thought about what woke me up exactly, only to hear the far of sounds of church bells ringing.

I sighed a little as I forced myself to open my eyes, but quickly closed them when I felt my eye's burn when the light hit them. I took a few moments to get use to the sun's rays when I could finally open my eyes fully.

I rubbed my eyes to get rid of the tiredness from them, knowing I would fall right back to sleep if I closed them again.
I took a quick glance around the room, and for a moment, I didn't recognise where I was until yesterday's event's came back to me.

My mother. My father. The Yaoyorozu Kingdom. Arriving in the One For All Kingdom. Talking to King All Might. Having to wake up early.

I tried to sit myself up slowly, but felt something, or someone keeping me down.
I looked down a bit, only to see Yaoyorozu, arms wrapped around my torso and face buried into my chest, still sleeping peacefully.

Once I saw her, I froze, not wanting to wake her up just yet. We did a lot of things yesterday's, and the least Yaoyorozu could get was some sleep.

Knowing I wouldn't be able to get out of bed for a while, I just stayed there, doing nothing as the black haired girl just slept.

I'm not going to lie, but I kind of liked it. It made me feel needed, just a little bit. It made me feel that just being around helps others them a bit.

I stayed there for what felt like another 20 minutes, my eye's closed, until I felt Yaoyorozu begin to move, meaning she was waking up. I kept my eye's closed as I felt he stiffen and let go of me, and felt the bed shift a bit, probably her sitting up.

She stayed still for a few moments and let out a yawn, before I felt her shaking my shoulder and bit.
"Shoto, wake up, it's nearly 1 in the afternoon" she whispered loudly to me. I pretended to wake up by sitting up slowly and rubbing my eyes.

"What?" I asked again.
"It's nearly 1 in the afternoon, we slept in" Yaoyorozu told me as she pulled the blankets off of herself and got up, and looked around the room.

"It's going to get changed back into the clothes I was wearing yesterday. You should probably have a shower and then ask All Might for a change of clothes, since they're...dirty" Yaoyorozu told me, hesitate to say the last word. I already knew she was going to say blood, my mother's blood, but appreciated that she changed it.

"Don't worry, I will" I replied to her. Yaoyorozu smiled as she left the room, closing the door behind her as she left. I decided to get up out of the bed and into thee bathroom to have my shower.

I was done pretty quickly, since I only had to wash the blood out of my hair, which was easy. Once I was done, I turned off the shower, tied a towel around my waste.
As soon as I left the bathroom, I heard a knocking at the bedroom door.

I walked over and opened it a little bit, only to see Yaoyorozu, still in the night clothes, eye's closed and folded clothes in her hands and some boots.

"I just ran down and asked All Might if he had any spare clothes for you, cause as soon as I left the room, I realised that you couldn't really go ask for clean clothes if you couldn't get changed into any. Lucky he did, and gave me these to give to you" Yaoyorozu explained to me as she held out the folded clothes and boots.

I smiled.
"Thank you very much Yaoyorozu" I thanked her as I took the clothes and boots from her hands. She nodded. "No problem. Meet me down my the stairs in 10 minutes" the black haired girl told me as she turned around and into her own room.

I closed the door and looked down at the clothes I was handed.
"I hope these fit" I told myself as I began to change into the clothes. When I was done, I was impressed to be honest. Nice blue and gold boots, white sleeves and a creamy peach jeans. It was very stylish in my opinion.

Once I was done, I walked out of my room and down the hallways towards the stairs. When I got to them, I saw Yaoyorozu standing at the bottom of it, waiting for me. She was wearing the same thing as yesterday, black jeans and a loose grey top.

When she looked up and saw me, she smiled.
"Looking like a true Prince ready for a fight" Yaoyorozu told me as I walked down the steps towards her.

"And you look lovely" I replied, but she chuckled. "Oh please, I don't look nice in these scruffy looking nerf herder clothes" Yaoyorozu told me. "Nonsense, you look great" I complimented as I got to her.

"Whatever" she replied jokingly as she rolled her eye's. "King All Might requested that we meet him in the dinning room. He wishes to talk to us" Yaoyorozu told me seriously as she pointed down the hallway, probably towards the dinning room.

"Alright, let's go" I replied as was walked swiftly down the hallway. It only took us minutes until we got to the dinning room which had a large oak table that could have up to around 20 people. At the end, was King All Might and the girl I met on the coronation night, Uraraka.

"Good morning you two, did you have a good lie in?" Uraraka asked us cheerfully with a smile. "Yes we did, it was exactly what we needed" I replied.
"I'm glade to hear that, but we need to discuss some thing's. Please, sit down" King All Might requested us as he pointed to the seats.

Me and Yaoyorozu gave each other a worried glance. We already know that when All Might is serious, it means business. Me and Yaoyorozu took our seats across one another, while Uraraka stood next to King All Might, looking as worried and tense as the rest of us.

"I have gotten word that your father, King Endeavor, is looking to kill you Shoto Todoroki" the King told me. That gave me shivers down my spine. To actually have that theory confirmed, just scared me.

"And what's worse, is that he has been more active with his army and military lately, talking to his generals about thing's. This could be a sign that he is planning to fight and attack other Kingdom's, most likely us" All Might spoke, even sounding a bit nervous himself.

Me and Yaoyorozu stayed silent. So my father is searching to kill me, and not only that, but he is probably on the move already as we speak. "Well what are we going to do?" Yaoyorozu asked All Might.

That was when King All Might gave a small smirk and pointed to Uraraka. "She'll explain the rest" he spoke, which Uraraka nodded to. "That's right. Just follow me and I'll tell you both everything" Uraraka told us as she walked towards the door and out of the room, me and Yaoyorozu following close behind.

We walked down the hallway the we came to a spiral staircase that went all the way up. "Come on" Uraraka told us as she walked up the steps, and we followed. We walked up for quiet a while, before Yaoyorozu asked, "Where exactly are we going?".
"To my secret lair that at the very top of the castle" Uraraka explained to us when we finally came to a door.

She pushed it open and walked inside, and I was kind of blown away.
Inside where shelves of books for who knows where, and giant metal global that spun around in the air in the centre of the room, and dragon flies, butterflies and birds that looked to be made up of a magical mist, flying through the room.

"Wow Uraraka, this place is amazing!" Yaoyorozu spoke as she spun her head around, her gaze following a orange misted bird that flew throughout the room.
"Thanks, I worked really hard on it" Uraraka told us as she touched her own arms and floated to a higher up shelf.

"Wow, you must be really good with magic if you can make yourself flout" I spoke, but she shook her head. "Nope, not magic, it's my quirk" she replied simply as she grabbed a book. Me and Yaoyorozu gave each other a weird look.

"Quirk?" Yaoyorozu asked Uraraka as she clasped her hands together and fell to the ground below her. She nodded. "Yep. That's what I wanted to talk to you about. Quirks" Uraraka told us as she opened the green book and opened it on a page.

"What's a quirk?" I asked her, which she just smiled to. "That's what I'm going to explain to you now" she told us as she held up the book to us that had text and a picture of a few people. One had fire coming out of their hands, one levitating, another with four arms, and a few more.

"Hundreds of years ago, almost everyone, around 80% of the totally population of people had powers or mutations that were called quirks. Most people used them for things like careers, serving royal families or just to help them out with day to day things" Uraraka explained to us as she flipped over to the next page.

Again, there was some text, but there was a different picture of people fighting in a bloody war. "But then there was a the great 5 year war that fought over rights, land, religion and many other reasons. Many people in the war and many innocent died during those 5 years of misery. People's quirks were used to kill others and destroy" Uraraka spoke sadly as she skipped to another page, this time, with what seemed to be a wizard on it.

"Then, at the end of the 5 years, a great wizard who was known as Eraser, who was one of the most powerful wizards at the time, cast a spell over the lands people, and erased their quirks. People lost their powers and anyone who had a mutation would die with it, and their children would never have a mutation like them. Ever since then, people have long forgotten about it, and only few people know about it" Uraraka spoke as she shut the book tightly.

Me and Yaoyorozu just stood their, taking in the information.
"So your telling us, that hundreds of years ago, people had powers but after a great war, their powers were taken away?" Yaoyorozu asked. "Yep!" Uraraka told us simply.

"Well how do you know about it?" I asked Uraraka. "Because it's a secret that has been passed down from master to apprentice in the sorcery line. Eraser had a apprentice and told him about it and passed that tradition on. My mother was the one to tell me all about it and gave me the very book that is also passed down" Uraraka told us and she held up the green dusty book.

"So this is the very book that Eraser had?" I asked as I pointed to it, which Uraraka nodded to. "Well how do you have a quirk then if no one is suppose to have it?" Yaoyorozu asked the sorceress. "Well my quirk is what I like to call zero gravity. If I touch anything with all 5 fingers with my hands, it floats. However, if I use it for to long, I feel sick" Uraraka explained to us as she opened the book to another page.

"As to how I got it, I gust reversed the original spell" she told us. "Really?" I asked, which again, she nodded to. "So why did you tell us all this?" Yaoyorozu asked Uraraka, still confused why we were told all this. Uraraka smiled.

"Cause, King All Might think it might be best that you two should get your one".
"What!" Me and Yaoyorozu shouted in surprise at the same time. Us? Getting powers? That sounds unheard of!? Why in the world would we aloud such a thing?

"But why?" Yaoyorozu asked, just as confused. "Because, All Might said it would be for the best. Since King Endeavor is probably going on a killing spree as we speak, if you two are caught by him, if you have your own quirks, you could fight him off" Uraraka explained to us seriously.

"That is a good point. We wouldn't stand a chance against my father. I've spared with him many times, and whenever I do, I would get sick from exhaustion and I would even get a broken rib or two when I did" I told the two girl's, which they gave my worried looks for.

"That's just shows that you need as much of a chance against him as possible if you come face to face with him" Uraraka told us as she looked down at her book.

"So. Who wants to go first?".

FINALLY! I'M GETTING TO THE JUICY BITS.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter as much as I did writing it. I wanted to add in quirks somehow, and this was the best I could do, which is based off of someone's comment, but I can't remember who's.
Also, I'm on holiday's with my family in Kerry, so updates are gonna be a little slow.
