Third Person's POV

Next Day...

From: Taehyung.

"The boys decided to work out for today, are you going?"

Me:

"Will Jungkook get suspicious, about this?"

From: Taehyung.

"Lol. Stop overthinking and get your ass here already."

Jimin bit his bottom lip and then sighs and look at the time on his phone, it's already 10 am, then his phone vibrates he receives another message from him, Taehyung gave him the address.

Taehyung frowns, Jimin didn't reply to his text. He didn't say he's going or not and it's been an hour already.

"Fuck, this is so tiring." Hoseok complained and Yoongi shoot him a glare, "And whose fault is that? You drag us here." The older male argued, Hoseok raise up his both hands and then smiled.

"Fine, it's mine, happy?" Yoongi scoff, Hoseok chuckles and accidentally gazes up at Taehyung. The taller male is looking at him emotionless. Hoseok arched his brow as if he was asking the latter what's with that look but Taehyung gazes down back to his phone.

"Who are you, texting?" Hoseok asked tone cheerful, "Jimin." Taehyung replied shortly.

"You guys always spend time together." Hoseok commented, "What about it." Taehyung snaps that made Hoseok fell silent.

Jungkook who was seated in the corner stops scrolling through his phone and then stood up to get shower, Taehyung notices and then called out his name but the latter ignored him.

He was just going to tease him and tells him if they can shower together, Taehyung scratch the back of his head and then divert his attention back to his phone.

Jimin on the other hand,

Keep on blowing air into his hands and rubbing his hands together so he could at least warm them as he waits for his friends outside the gym. He decided not to go inside and waited instead.

He's wearing a red beanie to cover his ears, eyes hidden by his bangs and with his sweater paw, the weather is so cold right now and he regret not bringing his coat with him.

"Jimin-ah!" 

Taehyung called out, and when Jimin turns he sees the other male with his friends behind him. Taehyung rushes towards him, face concern, Jimin smiled.

"What the hell, Jimin." He says exasperatedly, Jimin's smile fell down.

"Huh?" Taehyung rolled his eyes and then took out his jacket before wrapping it around Jimin's small frame, Jimin's mouth form an o shape when realization hits him.

"I'm fine." He muttered smiling.

"Yeah, you are." Taehyung says sarcastically, "What are you doing here outside?" He asks.

"Didn't I told you that I'll be waiting outside?" Jimin answers and then he slowly look at Jungkook's direction, Jimin flashes him a smile which Jungkook returns with a smile but not reaching his eyes.

"No, you didn't, I didn't even know that you were coming." Jimin shyly smile and the scratch his head before looking back at Taehyung.

"My bad-" He said softly but Hoseok cuts in, "Are you just gonna talk all day? Because I'm already hungry." Jimin and Taehyung looks at him.

"Let's just go first." Jungkook suggested and the two agreed and then they walk past the two male and didn't even give Taehyung the chance to stop them.

"Let's follow them." He blurted out and Jimin nodded his head.

Taehyung saw Jungkook's car passes by and he immediately gestures Jimin to get inside his car to follow his friends.

"Everyone is in a bad mood?" Taehyung glances quickly at the younger male and then flashes him a box smile as he wear his seat-belt and Jimin quickly did the same thing, "Don't mind them." He said as he starts the engine.

Taehyung was driving silently when he frowned.

"Well I think we lost them." Taehyung informed and then tries to overtake the car in front of him and just drive fast, overtaking from car over car.

Taehyung stepped on the brakes very quickly and the car suddenly squealed to a stop in Jimin's surprise.

Jungkook had his eyes on the door, he expects them to follow but it didn't happen. He rolled his tongue against the inside of his cheeks and then pulled out his phone.

"They probably went to other place." Yoongi tells him but his eyes on his food. Hoseok looked at Jungkook and then nodded his head.

Jungkook remained silent, brows furrowing, Taehyung isn't even answering his messages. Jungkook clenched his jaw and then he stood up and went outside the restaurant.

Jungkook dialed the latter's number but Taehyung ignored his calls, Jungkook search Jimin's number. He bit his bottom lip before he pressed the call button. It didn't take long before Jimin answer his call.

"Hello?" 

Jimin mumbled, tone curious. Jungkook frowns when he heard someone's arguing in the background it was loud.

"What is happening there?" Jungkook asked curious.

"We had a small accident, Taehyung hit a dog, and he's now arguing with the owner."

"But are you okay?" Jimin hummed in response, "Don't worry." Jimin added assuring him and a few moments of silence had passed.

"Where are you?"

When the two walked outside the veterinary hospital, Jungkook was standing there.

"Jungkook, how did you know we are here?" Taehyung asks and then he looks at Jimin, raising a brow.

"I told him." Jimin says.

"I'm glad you are here now, take him with you Jungkook, I still have business inside." He says pointing the door and then winks at Jimin.

Jimin gave him a small nod and with that Taehyung walked inside.

"So..." Jimin trailed off looking up at the taller male, shyly.

"Let's go." Jungkook says looking down at the smaller male.

"Can we just take a walk?" Jimin asked him, eyes pleading, Jungkook gave him a small nod and with that, the two walked up with Jungkook following Jimin behind him.

Jungkook had a smile painted on his lips as he looked at the smaller male walking with arms extended, feeling the way air hits him. Jimin turned around to look at Jungkook smiling before looking in front of him again. Jungkook chuckles softly, admiring the smaller male's cuteness.

A few moments later he did it again, smiling cheekily, when he realizes Jungkook notices him again.

"Why are you doing that?" Jungkook asked tone amused, Jimin stops and then spoke up with his back facing the latter, "To make sure, you're here with me." Jimin answer softly. Jungkook was stunned for a moment, lips twitching upward.

"Don't worry, I'll be here." Jimin bit his bottom lip and then resume walking, humming a song softly, which Jungkook recognizes immediately and suddenly, felt his heart clenches.

It was the song, Jimin used to sing to him...

"We were so beautiful"

Jimin sang the first line while looking into Jungkook, eyes shining and full of sincerity.

"We were so tragic, No other magic could ever compare." 

Jimin smiled cheekily.

"Lost myself, seventeen. Then you came, found me."

"No other magic could ever compare."

Jimin moves closer and then wrapped his hands around Jungkook's neck, pulling him down closely.

"There's a room, In my heart with the memories we made."

"Took 'em down but they're still in their frames. There's no way I could ever forget, mm mm mm~"

Jungkook slid his hands and places it on the latter's waist, smiling widely, bunny teeth showing, which Jimin adores the most.

"For as long as I live and as long as I love. I will never not think about you."

"You, mm mm mm~"

"I will never not think about you."

Jungkook leaned down, nose touching Jimin's, he pressed his eyes shut, heart filled with happiness, smile still painted on his lips. Sometimes Jungkook ask himself how did he get so lucky to have a boyfriend like Jimin.

"What's wrong with you today, huh?" Jungkook asked teasingly which made Jimin groans and smack Jungkook's shoulder.

"Why do you have to ruin the mood?" Jimin asked slightly irritated which made the latter laughs.

The smaller male slowed down his pace so that they could walk side by side, when he tilt his head to look at the latter, it looks like Jungkook was thinking so deeply that he failed to notice, they are walking side by side now.

Jimin smiled faintly before looking away, I wish I could read your mind, to know what you were thinking, he thought silently.

"I miss Busan, so much." Jimin trailed off tone soft and gentle, getting Jungkook's attention, Jungkook gazes down at him, "But I don't have that much memory about it." Jimin says giggling.

"How did you feel," Jungkook trailed off as he tore his gaze away from the smaller male, "Waking up not remembering anything." He continued.

"Empty." Jimin replied shortly, sadness swelling up inside him, "It was hard." He added, Jungkook bit his lip and slowly looked down at Jimin.

"Everything is new, it confuses me..." Jimin trailed off and Jungkook didn't missed his pained expression, "I used to lock up myself inside my room, doesn't want to interact with anyone." Jimin looks up at him, Jungkook offers him a sincere smile.

"Then I started my new life, created new moments together with my brother," Jimin says and then smiled, "...and my bestfriend." Jungkook stops in his track, mixed emotion rushes inside him.

"Bestfriend?" He asks tone curious, Jimin's smile widens as he remember his bestfriend, he gave Jungkook a small nod and then spoke.

"Yeah and his name is, Eunwoo."

Jungkook's world came crashing down as he felt his heart crumbled into pieces.

Jimin is confuse, why is Jungkook looks like he was in pain? A guilty frown sprung on his face and when Jungkook realizes the younger had a worried look on his face, Jungkook flashes him a smile, smiling through the pain.

Then silence fell between them.

They resumed walking, Jimin notices the sudden change in Jungkook's behavior but chose to ignore it. They both stopped in the park, sitting in the bench and silently watching the kids playing.

"If you don't mind, can you tell me how we met before?" Jimin suddenly asks, Jungkook smiled softly as if he starts remembering the memory from the past. 

Jimin, slowly look at him, studying his face. He seems happy about it, was it a happy memory of theirs? Jimin couldn't help but to smile as well.

"I don't remember much of it." Jungkook lied and then the smaller male's smile fell down, Jimin bit his bottom lip, disappointment washes over him.

"You're lying, aren't you?" Jimin whispers audibly in Jimin's surprise, Jimin covers his mouth using his hand when he realizes he actually say that out loud.

"Sometimes you have to lie, so that you can't hurt anyone." Jungkook response not looking at Jimin's direction, Jimin hung his head low.

"You're wrong," He mumbled, "It's just make them hurt more." Jimin added tone soft, Jungkook tilt his head and stared down at him and Jimin stares up at him. Jungkook's eyes were filled of emotions, heart longing for Jimin.

A small and painful smile appears in Jimin's lips.

Even though you're physically near me most of the time why it does always feel like you're so far?

Even if it's just a pure friendship, why do you always make me feel like you don't want me be back in your life?

I hope someday, you'll be able to tell me the truth even that means hurting me.

Jungkook's phone suddenly rang, he shifted his gaze from Jimin and then answer the call, he stood up and walked away with Jimin looking up at him with curious expression. Jungkook ended the phone call and throws Jimin a look.

"I need to go." Jungkook said and then Jimin smiled, as soon as he left, a sigh escape from Jimin's lips.

He diverted his attention to kids playing; smiling when he sees a cute kid, falling cutely on the ground and then sees the mother worrying over her child while the father only laughs.

Jimin frowns when he felt someone sat down, Jimin greeted him by a sad smile. At this point, he won't be surprise anymore, Jungkook always tell people to look out for him.

"So how was it? Did you two talk?" Taehyung asked, Jimin smiled and gave him a small nod before looking away.

"I asked him but you know, he didn't give me the answer honestly." Jimin bit his bottom lip and then lowered his head and starts playing with his fingers, "Maybe it's too soon to ask him that, maybe he will tell me everything in the future. Let's just wait for that to happen." Jimin says before gazing up at Taehyung. The latter nodded his head and gave the younger an encouraging smile.

"But seriously, why did you even think that he'll tell you that? You're not even that close!" Taehyung teases the younger male to lighten up the mood.

"I just thought, he'll tell me and also, I only ask him how did we two met you know?" Taehyung grins, "And why do you want to know that?" He retorts, grinning.

"Nothing," Jimin mumbled, "I just want to know." Jimin added.

"Why don't you just use your imagination?" Taehyung asks and Jimin frowned.

"You're walking through the hallway and you stumbled upon him, when you look up at him, you fell in love and Jungkook didn't you like at first and then he shove you away." Taehyung tells him.

"But later on, he fell for you and then boom!" Jimin started laughing at the other male while holding his stomach, Taehyung chuckles at the sight.

"Don't be upset, we will be able to find the truth sooner." Taehyung suddenly says voice sincere.

"I hope so."
