The sound of clashing metal echoed through the courtyard training grounds. There was no training scheduled for the newer warriors but,yet some decided otherwise for themselves. It's not a like they had anything else to do in that moment but, wait so why not kill time with their much needed praticise of using weapons?

Molly charged towards On and Cheryl but, both moved out the way in different directions last second. Molly had her blade levitating in the air while On,Nightstrom and Cheryl had theirs in hand. Nightstorm ran towards On already swinging her sword. The smaller vampire attempted to block Nightstorm's last swing with her smaller blade with success but, while struggling to stay in that position.

" Keep it up,On!", Angelina cheers.

" Powerful swing,Nightstorm! ",Dawn cheers.

The whole Vamp Squad was here,except for Branch. Sophie,Lee,Dawn,Josjos,Angelina and Glitch watch from sidelines proudly as their friends battle it out. Everyone was too caught up in the show to notice their surprise guest coming towards them. This guest was silent as if she was on a staelth mission. She couldn't help but,easily notice the errors On,Molly,Nightstorm and Cheryl were performing. The silent judgement she gave off an impression of her possibly being an expert in the battle field.

Cheryl knocks Molly's sword out of the air and onto the ground while swinging blindly during her attack. Molly watched as her weapon did so unknowingly putting herself in an position that would cost her in a real fight. Then just as Cheryl was trying her luck again against the alicorn, Molly's horn started to sparkle as she magically lifted her sparing buddy into the air at the perfect moment. Cheryl was powerless as her sword slipped out of her hands.

" GOT YA!", Molly exclaims victoriously over her win.

Nightstorm breaks On's sword easily but,managed to damage hers too in the process. On falls to the ground quickly due her sparing buddy's use of force. Nightstorm slowly points the tip of her sword to On's stomach as their gaze met once again. The second victor was proud of what she managed to do.

" That was more fun to watch than 'Twilight Hours'. ", Glitch comments postively.

" Litteraly anything is better than that show but,this was indeed entertaining.", Lee replies.

" Your techniques need to be worked on more. On,you give in too quickly. Nightstorm,you need to balance out how much force you use. Molly,you could had easily been attacked when you stopped paying attention for a brief moment. And Cheryl, you should had moved quicker. My father would had chewed you all out if he saw this... ", Shylah says critically while trying to do so as kindly as possible.

The whole group slowly turned their heads to the owner of the familiar voice while their bodies remained fixed in place. A Pop vampire with lavender skin,dark purple hair with black streeks,grey purple nose,yellow eyes and a strange birthmark on her left hand. It resembled a diamond. She wore a pink dress with her skirt on purposely torn at the bottom and black tights. Around her waist and going up across to her left shoulder was a black sash.

Shylah ended up sounding exactly like her father,the Captain of the Royal Guards. They all knew who their new guest was and watched her carefully. Shylah walks up to the warriors in training and picks up Molly's sword as if she was doing an everyday task. Cheryl was lowered back onto her feet as Nightstorm discarded her weapon and helped On get back up into the air. Smiles gracefully appears on most of the bystanders' faces while a few were indifferent as they nod their heads to Shylah.

" Didn't expect to see you again so soon,Shylah... ", Josjos comments calmly and friendly.

" Glad to see you again. ", Glitch adds kindly.

" What brings you to the castle?", Sophie asks shyly and awkwardly.

Shylah smiled kindly at everyone. None of them were close enough to Shylah to be considered close friends but,they have been very much opened and more accepting to her unlike most vampires in Vampdom. The fact that they were so social with each other and their group being so big was a bit out of the norm but,that detail wasn't an big deal since most vampires didn't care about what others did. For now Shylah was just a friend. Not a Squard member.

" Looking for our Queen... I have something important to talk to her about. I was hoping to find her here... ", Shylah explains.

" We are actually waiting for her... Branch was here an half an hour ago but, had to go fix an issue that unexpectedly occurred in town.", Lee replies calmly.

Dawn moved closer to Shylah with an kind smile on her face as she gave Molly her sword back. Molly thankfully thanks her kindly before using magic to take it back. On looked down disappointedly at the piece of her now broken weapon which she still held in her hands,the handle. Luckily for On it was only her weapon that got damaged. It could had easily been her.

" Branch should be coming back soon so how about you just wait here with us? ", Dawn suggests.

" Plus we could use some extra help...", On admits blankly.

Shylah paused for a brief moment considering Dawn's suggestion. She really didn't have anything else going on and the warriors before her do need all the help they could get if they truly want to be part of the Royal Guards or Branch's Army. The Royal Guards are the most tough path to get an position but,with the Army you still had to be very skillful and willing to risk their lives inorder to be called upon during dire times.

Vampdon had not taken part in war since a ceuntry after being founded.  Vampires were feuding with each other for territory to the point there were blood baths. And that detail didn't only refer to vampire blood. Vampire deaths were only 30% and the 70% was litterally anyone who or anything that got the way. Yes,that was the time when vampires became very well known to be monsterious and most wouldn't believe it that they could change and be civil. It's safe to say that Vampdon still has many enemies who choose to remain distant with them.

" Are you sure about that? I have been told that I make it more diffcult than it has to be as a trainer. ", Shylah expresses considerately and calmly.

" Well you were and still are giving private lessons to teenagers who were just starting to get their powers. They had no control and either were using too little or too much of their growing abilities but, mostly too little. We do have control over ours so that should work in our favor at least. Right?", Nightstorm points out logically.

Meanwhile Branch stood frozen at the main fountain as she stared at the flower in her hand. It was a glittering red rose. She had been given flowers like this by other men before but, this time it was different. The person certainly wasn't a stranger or simply a new suitor. And she certainly did not think him of all vampires would had shared the same or at least similar feelings to the ones she had been keeping hidden.

"What just happened?", Branch asks herself still stunned as her cheeks became brighter.

AN: Okay... this chapter took longer to write than expected but, at least now I consider it good enough. And also we have new and final member but, she won't officially join the vampire Squard until we are closer to the end. We are nearing the climax I have been trying to build but, are not there yet.

No more OCs or People will be added to this book but, the sequel? I hadn't decided yet but,I might consider contuining to import others. Of course there have to be more trolls cause I have more than enough vampires. I will probably be focusing on the troll side more with the sequel.
