The daylight of today had turned into night in Vampdom. Poppy in the library putting a bunch of children books back in their place. The Story Time children are there playing quietly waiting for their Story Time to start. Poppy keeps an eye on the children as he puts the books back on their shelves. Like before Poppy has babysit them til Branch comes in. Tonight she is going to read to the children again. Poppy couldn't wait to see her here again.

Branch walks towards the children. She is wearing the flower clip in her hair by her ear,simple camouflage shirt,black belt and simple red skirt. The Queen didn't alway wear dresses. There is a soft smile on her. She is secretly hoping to see Poppy again with the children.

Shadow spots the Queen coming towards them as a big smile appears on his face. The little boy quickly turns around to the other kids. He is basically beaming with excitement. Poppy notices the little boy's sudden behaviour and becomes a little confused.

" She's here! ", Shadow says excited with his inside voice.

Then immediately all the children,except the baby, runs off to Branch accidentally knocking her down! When Poppy saw the children take off he realizes who Shadow was referring to. A small knowing smile appears on Poppy's face. The male quickly but,yet slowly at the same time puts the last book in it's place. Then simply picks up the adorable baby close to him who has raised his arms up making happy baby babble. As Poppy continues to stand there for a few more seconds he sees Branch being escorted by Shadow and Candy into the section as the other kids talk around her.

The spy playfully gives her a smile and waves the baby's hand when she turns her head to him for a moment. The baby giggles softly and happily at her. The Queen smiles back at them softly after shaking her head playfully. Then she turns her head back to the children escorting her. The spy's smile becames happier when he notices she is wearing the flower clip he gave her. His heart beats more happily to know that she is wearing it tonight. It truly does look pretty on her.

Shadow and Candy happily brought the blue vampire to the chair as the other little vampires found their place on the carpet like usual. Candy and Shadow give the female adult a quick hug happily before Shadow sits down in the front row and Candy runs off to get a book. It surprised Branch a little since usually she didn't get hugs by the children before or after Story Time but, it probably must be Poppy's influence. He is a hugger afterall.

Branch sits down on the chair as Poppy puts the baby down by the group. The children look up at Branch with a twinkle in their eyes. Poppy leaves the section but, he stops and turns around just to have another look with a soft smile. The sight of Branch with children still makes his heart beat in awe. She looks so motherly as she starts reading Candy's book with the baby now on her lap. Candy is sitting with Shadow. There is literally nowhere else the male adult would rather be than here.

' Branch will make a great mom.',Poppy thought softly and genuine.

One story later,Branch had just finished reading the story book. Poppy is standing next to her. She hands the book to him as Shadow puts his hand up. The Queen notices the action and so does the hunter.

"Yes,Shadow?",Branch addresses simply.

"Is Poppy your boyfriend? My older sister said she thinks you and Poppy are a couple. ",Shadow says happily and honestly.

Poppy and Branch both blush as they are shocked by the little boy as Poppy drops the book in his hands! The book hits the floor near his feet as Branch felt like she almost fell out of the chair. Other children quickly pile more on the topic before the two adults can say anything. Apparently their families and they too think Branch and Poppy are dating! The two friends are dumbfounded by everything the children are saying!

Do people really think that of them? That their a couple or should be together? Where do they get that idea? Are their hidden feelings that obvious to everyone else who doesn't know about their relationship? How many vampires think that way?

" Was your first date really a Art dance thingy?",Candy asks happily.

" What's it like doing date stuff?",a random boy asks happily.

"Poppy,will you still come back when your king?",a random boy asks hopeful.

"My mommy said you make a cute couple. When are you getting married?",a random girl says honestly and happily.

" I think I heard once my big sister's friend say that she's jealous of you for being with Poppy but,I don't know what that means. My sister thinks Poppy and you will get married one day. ",Sarah says happily and honestly.

" I think my big brother is jealous of Poppy but, his friend says that this door or something that you have,Queen Branch, is never going to reopen once you and Poppy are together. ", a random boy says happily and honestly.

"Can we be in your wedding?",Shadow and Candy ask hopefully and happily.

Poppy and Branch couldn't believe what is happening! The children are innocent so they don't know much about love or dating. The two adults mange to get their voices back. They both talk fast with panicking voices then slower,softly and nervously at the same time. They weren't sure what to say...

"No!No!No! -... we're aren't -... - I mean -... it's not like -... we're just friends...",Poppy and Branch says together!

Then the two adults turn their heads and look at each other for a moment. Branch and Poppy share the same uncomfortable expression on their faces with a tiny glance of sadness in their eyes. There was still some blush on their cheeks. Both of them wished with all their hearts to be in a dating relationship but,they were scared and weren't sure it would be possible for them. Dating your friend or best friend changes everything and comes with it's own risks.

Plus with Poppy it was even more complicated because,technically Branch is his enemy and target. He's a Vampire Slayer and she's the Vampire Queen... Could a relationship actually work out for them? Poppy didn't know the answer even with his positivity.

The Queen and the spy look back at the children. There is a soft and calmer expression in their eyes. The little vampires look up at them confused and quietly. The vampire children didn't understand or know the complications of Branch and Poppy's relationship. Their just innocent children.

" It's probably just a rumor that me and her are together. We are like best friends,not a couple... ",Poppy explains honestly,softly and calmly.

" And I just choose to stop going on dates with my suitors for long while to take a long break for myself. Nobody is getting married...", Branch adds honestly and softly.
