A few nights later Poppy had got the job he wanted. Mrs Honey and Mr Honey were hsppy for Poppy when he told them about being hired. They thought it will be a good start for him to do the simple job. Eddie didn't see why the pink vampire would want to work in the library but, he decided to be a little more supportive after his sister elbowed him in his side then made a point about how a part time library job is still a job. Poppy is happy about his part time job.

Tonight is his first night on the job so Poppy is now in the library looking for a nice book in the children section to read. The little vampires should come any moment. Poppy felt as if he couldn't wait for them to come for Story Time. The former troll finds an old Fairytale book and picks it up. He smiles at it innocently deciding to read the book for the little vampires.

Then the new library worker turns around and sits down on his seat happily as he hears the vampire children coming. Shadow and Candy are the first ones to arrive to the library selection. Their eyes light up as they gasp in surprise to see Poppy. They run over to him happily making the spy softly chuckle at their actions. Candy and Shadow had no idea their new Story Time reader would be Poppy! The older vampire gets up from his seat then gets down on one knee bringing himself to the adorable children's level. He holds the book in his hand as he does so.

" Poppy?", Shadow says surprised.

" Your the new Story Time reader?", Candy asks happily.

" Yup! You will be seeing me a lot more of me. ",Poppy says softly and happily.

Candy and Shadow smile at Poppy innocently and happily. They like the idea of having Poppy around more. Then the other vampire children come into the section happily and quietly. Poppy looks up at the other children smiling softly. The vampire children reminds Poppy a little of the children back in his troll village. The vampire children and the trollings both have that adorable and innocently happy look.

Poppy brings himself back to standing up as Candy and Shadow turn around to see the other children. Then the adult sees all of the little vampires sit down the carpet in front of him quietly. Candy,Shadow and Sarah sits down in the front of the group. They all look up at Poppy patiently waiting for their Story Time to start. The spy is reminded more of the trollings he read to before which he finds cute.

Within a minute the turned vampire sits down on the chair. Then a mother carring her baby walks into the children section. Poppy notices her as she puts her baby down between Shadow and Candy. Then the mother tells Poppy she will be back after Story Time and walks away to another part of the library. Poppy looks at the baby who looks at him innocently and confused. The baby starts crawling over to the adult curiously.

Poppy looks down at the baby who is now at his feet. He smiles at baby then picks him up and puts him on his lap. The baby giggles joyfully making the man's heart warm up little. Then the adult male slowly opens the book he picked to read still smiling softly. Poppy starts reading slowly and happily as the baby looks at the first page of the book. Poppy gets a feeling that Story Time might be his favourite part of his job.

The next night, Poppy walks into the library for work again. He sees Miss Robin behind her checkout desk as usual. The librarian is checking in her folder how many books have been returned. The new employee quickly checks himself in for work as he greets the librarian.

" Hello Miss Robin. ", Poppy greets.

The librarian looks up and sees her new co - worker. She remembers something that she forgotten to tell him yesterday night. Queen Branch is coming back to library to read to the children again so therefore Poppy is off Story Time duty for the night. Children don't know about Branch coming either like Poppy.

" Hello Poppy. Tonight someone else is going to do Story Time so you must just put all of the many returned books back in their sections tonight. You can take time with it since you don't have worry about Story Time. ", Miss Robin says blankly.

Poppy is surprised and at the same time a little disappointed by the fact someone else is doing Story Time but, he shakes it off. He doesn't see a problem with more vampires wanting to read to the children. The hunter grows curious about who will be reading to the children tonight.

" Okay then. Who will be doing Story Time?",Poppy asks curious.

" Queen Branch...",Miss Robin responds blankly.

Poppy's ears perk immediately and his eyes light up at the mention of the Vampire Queen! A smile spreads his face in a heartbeat. Branch is coming here? To the Library? Tonight? Some unknown happiness fills the man's heart at the thought of Branch coming to the library. He can't wait to see her again.

" Queen Branch?",Poppy says happily and surprised.

The librarian hears what Poppy said as she picks up a returned book sitting on her desk. She didn't noticed the spy's tone. She opens the book checking something if the checkout card is full. The librarian continues to talk as she does her work.

" The Queen comes for Story Time sometimes when she has time for it. She had promised to do it at a Charity event for our library. Apparently Candy, Shadow and Sarah had said something to her making her want to something more for this place. The children seem to love it when she comes. ", Miss Robin says honestly and blankly.

Poppy smiles at what Miss Robin said about Branch. He didn't know that Branch volunteered to read to children too. The Queen truly sounds like she is selfless and caring for wanting to get more involved. The Spy wonders about what the sighting the Vampire Queen reading to children would look like to himself.

The other hunter's would never give a good or nice image of the Vampire Queen as a Queen or a person in general. Most of them were secretly scared of her power so the things they told Poppy didn't sound nice. The idea of Branch doing Story Time interges the spy even more than he already is of her...
