Branch and Poppy are still sitting at the Coffee Shop. Branch picks up her coffee and takes a small sip. Poppy smiles at her goofily enjoying her company. He feels like he could talk to her here for hours. Poppy wishes that this moment could continue into hours with his heart.

" So your not much of a coffee drinker?",Branch asks simply.

" I did drink it a few times. Sometimes my friends would joke that if I drank coffee I might have ten times more energy and that nobody might not be able to stop me from doing anything. ", Poppy says fondly.

The turned vampire laughs to himself at the memories of the Snack Pack and him joking around. It didn't matter to Branch whether Poppy did drink coffee or not. She was just a little more interested in him at the moment. The Queen puts her coffee down back onto the table chuckling softly at Poppy's friends' joke.

" I would be worried about that too if it was true. ",Branch remarks a little playfully.

Poppy gives Branch an playful look as he laughs softly liking her playful remark. He picks up his coffee and takes a sip of it. It does taste creamy and sweet like the Queen mentioned a moment ago. Poppy likes it.

" So what have you been doing last week?",Poppy asks curious.

" Mostly just my Queen duties. ", Branch simply answers.

Branch didn't have to attend long tiring meetings this time. She did other tasks like training the new warriors, solve with the problems of the Vampires who came to the castle to talk to her and check on the kingdom's defences. She really took her time with her Queen duties to ensure she didn't miss anything or make a big mistake.

" What about in your free time? ", Poppy ask

As Branch is just about to answer Poppy and her hear a small ding. The ding is coming from Poppy's hug watch. The former troll looks at his watch for a second then looks back up at Branch. The Queen looks down at the open glowing flower. She remembers seeing it before but, doesn't know much about it. The Queen looks up the turned vampire as she asks him about the watch.

" Why are you wearing one of those watches that chim every hour? ", Branch asks confused and a little curious.

" You mean my Hug Watch? Back home it reminds me when it's Hug Time. I hadn't been able to hug anyone here cause most vampires either walk away or just stop me from even trying but, Mr and Mrs Honey don't really mind it when I hug them which does make the shelter feel a little more homey.", Poppy says happily and cheerful.

Branch looks at Poppy wondering why would the trolls would hug every hour. The Troll cultures didn't always make sense to her. The turned vampire has a cheerful smile spread across his face and his eyes seem to twinkle as he quickly gets an idea. His Hug Watch flower is still glowing a bright pink so Hug Time isn't over yet.

" Hug Time?",Poppy suggests hopeful taking a chance.

" Hmm... No thanks. I'm good...",Branch rejects softly and not wanting to be hugged.

Branch isn't much of a big hugger. Plus she doesn't feel uncomfortable with hugging Poppy in front of everyone. The only people  Branch hugs is her grandpa, her friends and sometimes other vampires or children. The Queen's hug level very low when compared to how much Poppy seems to hug. Then before Poppy could respond Branch looks at the window and sees the large clock sitting inside the Coffee Shop clearly.

The Queen's eyes widen as she realizes how long she has been sitting with Poppy! Her break from her Queen duties should had ended thirty minutes ago! It disappoints Branch a little that she has to leave but,she can't stay any longer! Branch frowns as she turns her head back to Poppy. The turned vampire forgets what he was about to say as he notices the look on her face. He becomes a concerned that something is wrong.

" Sorry Poppy but, I have to go. ",Branch says honestly and sadly.

Poppy immediately becomes disappointed as the Queen gets out of her chair to stand up. At the same time his Hug Watch flower closes taking away it's glow. He didn't want her to leave. At least not so soon anyway. Poppy's heart drops a little at the thought of her leaving. Branch quickly grabs her takeaway and picks it up preparing herself to leave.

" Don't worry about paying me back for the Coffee and remember what I said earlier before I gave you the Coffee...", Branch says softly.

Then before Poppy could say anything the Queen quickly leaves with her coffee. Poppy tries to get up hoping that to stop her from leaving but, by the time he was standing up Branch was out of sight. The hunter looks at the direction she disappeared from quietly and disappointed. Poppy let's out a sigh then looks at his coffee. The Slayer sits back down looking at thinking of the last thing Branch said to him before leaving.

Then after a short moment of staring at it Poppy smiles goofily at the takeaway cup thinking of how she came over just to cheer him up as he leans back into his chair. Just thinking of the recent and wonderful moment makes Poppy's heart subtly skip a beat. Poppy is unware of his feelings but, he is too happy over what Branch did for him to care. The spy happily picks up his coffee and looks at it for a second happily before bringing it towards his lips. Poppy takes another sip of the warm drink enjoying the creamy and sweet taste.

Unknowingly to the spy someone was watching him the whole time... Terence stands by a corner a good distance sway looking at Poppy with a serious look on his face. His body leans against the black brick wall with a cigarette in his free hand. The Gang leader brings his cigarette to his lips and slowly breathes in the smoke before removing it from his mouth. Terence blows out a puff of smoke as his lungs start to not feel good. The smoke is killing his lungs but, Terence doesn't care about the affect of smoking has on his lungs! Terence had seen Poppy have a moment with Branch which didn't please him.

" So the stupid Hunter boy thinks he can pick up Princess? Yeah right... And me and the Terrors are gonna get banished...",Terence says mockingly and the second part sarcastically.

Terence doesn't think Poppy has a chance but, little does he know how wrong he is... The Gang leader puts his cigarette out against the wall then throws it at his feet. Then he turns around and starts walking away as he digs into his jacket pocket for his almost empty pack of cigarettes still feeling like smoking.

AN: Don't smoke,cupcakes! It's bad for your health. And littering isn't good either for Earth. 🚭🚯 I don't like smoking or littering. Nobody really benefits from them unless you count people making money from them.
