Night time came as fast as usual for Vampdom. Poppy is practicing using his powers with Mr Honey's help in the shelter's backyard. Mr Honey stands several feet away from Poppy watching him as Poppy picks up a massive weight with two hands.

The massive weight makes him look small compared in size. The turned vampire lifts the massive weight up above his head. Poppy looks up at the weight happily with a smile on his face. The action reminds him a lot of Smidge. Smidge is the strongest troll in the Snack Pack and can lift a weight one hundred times bigger than his size!

" Now I can compete with Smidge in weight lifting.",Poppy jokes happily to himself.

The turned vampire laughs at his own joke. He has no problem keeping the massive weight with his vampire strength. Mr Honey notices the joke Poppy made and wonders who he is talking about. Then the older vampire remembers something Poppy said to him earlier about his friends back in the troll village.

" Who's Smidge? Is he one of your friends from the troll village?", Mr Honey asks curious and confused.

The turned vampire brings his head back down slowly. He is still holding the weight up without hurting himself. Poppy smiles happily as he looks at Mr Honey. Mr Honey gets a feeling that his guess might be correct.

" Yup! He's the strongest troll in the whole village. I have known him since we were little. Smidge is one of my closest friends. We went on so many adventures together and would see each other almost every day. ",Poppy says honestly and happily.

" I see. It's a shame that you can't do that any more with them or see them here. Friendships are ended sadly once you become a turned. Sounded like you really had good friends.",Mr Honey says honestly.

Poppy is confused by Mr Honey. He slowly brings the weight down and puts it on the ground in front of him. The pink male blinks a few times. He doesn't understand what Mr Honey means. Friendships ended? Why would his friends not want to be his friends after being turned into vampire? After he went through the transformation they didn't see him differently or pushed him away.

" What do you mean? ",Poppy asks confused.

Mr Honey let's out a sigh. He knew that he eventually had to give Poppy this talk at some point or else he would had learnt it the hard way himself. The older vampire didn't want to burst Poppy's innocent bubble but, it will be better if Poppy understands now before he gets hurt.

" Trolls and Vampires are like enemies. One day you will find yourself drinking blood from a troll and your troll friends won't be happy when they see vampire you... They will immediately see you as something they don't want around and fear then they won't help you when spotted by those heartless killers,or as you probably known them as, Vampire Slayers who will kill you without a second thought! I'm sorry but, that's the harsh reality sadly... It will be better for you to accept it now instead of causing yourself more pain and getting possibly killed... The same can go to family too... At least now you can make new friends now in your new life and they can actually last...", Mr Honey explains honestly, softly and sensitively.

Poppy's heart breaks at hearing Mr Honey's long explanation! It shocked him! The turned vampire doesn't say a thing. Does it happen to everyone else who gets turned into vampires? Did turned vampires really lose all their friends and family the moment their turned? To the spy it sounds horrible! How could friends and family just abandon someone like that? It didn't sound right at all to him in the friendship sense. Poppy knew that there is a line when trolls and vampires but, he never knew the vampires' side of the story til he started living Vampdom.

Do vampires think Vampire Hunters are heartless killers? Poppy realizes in that moment that the vampires most likely do. Now that he thinks about it he honestly doesn't blame them. The job of an Vampire Slayer is to kill vampires but, Poppy never killed a vampire on sight just cause he saw one standing! The spy knew that not all vampires did the job like him but, he never saw the job as heartless killer before! Hearing the vampire view gives Poppy some more perspective.

Then Mr Honey picks up the weight and puts it aside somewhere else. The older vampire then places his hand on Poppy's shoulder after moving back to facing him. Poppy notices the actions and just looks at his teacher confused.

" Don't worry too much about it,lad. You still have the rest of your new chapter of life to look forward to. You will make some new and good friends here, like Eddie and Savannah. Who knows? Maybe you could even make Queen Branch your friend like you have been trying. ",Mr Honey says softly and positively.

Poppy looks at the other vampire still thinking. A frown appears on the Spy's face. Are turned vampires really expected to move on with their new vampire life without going back? It sounds so sad and tragic to Poppy. Now Poppy is wondering if he was turned into a vampire by a bite would his friends, mother and the other trolls turn their backs on him? That question felt his heart feel heavier in that moment.

Mr Honey notices the look remaining on Poppy's face and how quiet he is. He let's out a sad sigh then removes his hand from Poppy's shoulder. It is clear to him that the harsh reality is bothering Poppy a lot more than he thought he would. It bothers Mr Honey a lot sometimes too.

" Now how about we get back to your training instead of staying on the depressing topic too long? It will help you get your mind off it for a while since it is really bothersome...Or we could officially stop it here if you want... ",Mr Honey suggests softly and sensitively.

The Spy thinks for a moment still remaining quiet. The quietness like this out of characteristic for Poppy. He would like to continue his training but, now he isn't sure if he wants to continue now. Then Poppy decides to answer Mr Honey. He feels like he needs some time to himself to think about what Mr Honey told.

" I guess stopping. Could we continue training later?...",Poppy says softly,feeling lost and quietly.

" Sure. Whatever you want is fine. ",Mr Honey replies.
