The charity event had started an hour ago. The Starry Shine oration had went very well. All the items and art were sold and Angelina's painting of Queen Branch made the most money. The charity raised ninety percent more more than the goal amount! Now the charity have more than enough to help struggling artists and teach children different kinds of arts.

The dance has already started and has a few hours left in it. There is soft and gentle music being performed by the band. Some of the vampires are chatting and socializing or are waltzing to the music. Everyone is enjoying the dance. Poppy stands by the punch bowl looking at all the other vampires. He notices how many of them are either keeping to themselves or just socializing with their friends or flirting with each other.

The dances back in the village would be more social and more alive than the vampires but, at the same time this dance is more romantic, a bit Gothic and elegant. It has it's own charm making it a different kind of fun. Poppy takes a sip of the punch in the red cup in his hand. It tastes like raspberry with pufflow blood.

At first the former troll had trouble with the idea of drinking blood and it took him some time just try a small sip. He was afraid it was troll blood and couldn't stop the fact that it didn't feel right but, after he found out that the blood was from dead animals and that troll blood is rarely sold in Vampdom Poppy eventually tried it. It tasted odd but, at the same time good. Now he drinks the blood without thinking too much where it came from or with too much of guilt. Poppy is still getting use to it and he isn't fully comfortable with blood.

Then the pink vampire brings eyes back to Branch. She is standing near by. She is talking to the head of the Arts Program. The head of the charity is thanking her for coming and supporting them. It's a big deal for the Arts Program. Poppy smiles at her innocently and softly.

"It's no problem. ", Branch replies honestly.

" Enjoy the dance,my Queen. ",the head of the charity says respectfully.

Then the vampire male walks away from her. In that moment another song starts playing and Poppy gets an idea. The song is slow and soft beat. Poppy's smile becomes bigger at his idea. He wants to dance with her and gonna take her down to the dance floor.

Poppy finishes his punch then puts the cup on the table. He slowly walks over to the Queen with an gentle smile on his face. Then when he reaches her he taps her shoulder. Branch turns around confused to Poppy. The male innocently and happily offers her his hand.

" Would you like to dance with me?", Poppy asks softly.

Branch is a bit surprised by his offer. Poppy isn't the first man she danced with tonight but, she didn't expect him to ask. Poppy looks at her with a soft and sweet look in his eyes. The Queen isn't sure what to say and the hunter notices it.

" It's all I ask for...",Poppy says softly,honestly and sweetly.

Then a soft and genuine smile appears on the Queen's face. She puts her hand on top of his hand. Both Branch and Poppy feel something small, strange and unknown go through their arms.

" Sure...",Branch agrees softly.

The two vampires make their way to the middle of the dance floor. There are other vampires waltzing around them. Branch puts one hand on Poppy's shoulder and the other in his hand as he puts one on her waist. They lock eyes as they begin to waltz. Small and innocent smiles are on their faces.

Cheryl sees Branch and Poppy waltzing slowly and a big smile appears her face. This is perfect! Cheryl is wearing a black dress with a grey flower petals sewed into the skirt, grey flats and a simple necklace. Her hair is tied in an ponytail. The vampire woman needs an camera to document the beautiful sight!

She turns to On who is standing next to her and asks for an camera. On is wearing an blue dress with sweetheart neckline,is backless and silver glitter all over the top and on the top of the long skirt. The rest of the skirt has glitter scattered on it. On's shoes are hidden by her dress and are blue flats. On's hair is wavy and loose,her earrings are blue and white little squares.

The mixed vampire quickly searches her hair for an camera but, doesn't find one. She conjures one and gives it to Cheryl. The shipper runs over to the edge of the dance floor with vampire speed. Most of the crowd is watching Poppy and Branch waltz a more complicated waltz than the other couples.

Cheryl takes a few pictures smiling in awe. Poppy twirls Branch gracefully then brings her back and close to him. They are completely lost in their own world. It's like nobody else is there. Branch and Poppy never knew that dancing could be and feel this magical! They have danced with others many times before but, never like this!

The pink man leads the Queen as they slowly move around. Branch has her hands on Poppy's shoulders as Poppy's hands are on her waist. Then he picks her into the air by an inch. He hold her up by one arm as he spins around once. Branch is surprised by how he is able to use some of his strength already without hurting her or dropping her. She keeps her hands on his shoulders. The turned vampire slowly and gently puts her down back onto her feet.

The dance couple moves from side to side. They look so graceful and perfect. The two vampires spin around together beautifully again. Poppy twirls her out then back to him. Branch smiles at Poppy as get close together making his heart skips a beat and him smile back. They put their hands back on each other's bodies.

The other vampires leave the dance floor to give the Queen and her partner all of it. The remaining couple don't notice at what is happening around them. Branch and Poppy's waltz becomes more simple but, remains graceful and beautiful. On,Angelina and Cheryl smiles softly in awe. Cheryl takes another picture. Poppy and Branch dance forming a big circle in their path then goes into the middle of it.

Poppy and Branch are just gazing into each other's eyes as they waltz. They don't know what they are feeling right now but, they are enjoying their waltz so much that it doesn't matter. Nothing could ruin this moment.

Then they in the middle of the dance floor and Poppy dips Branch not breaking eye contact. The light surrounding them looks magical. As Poppy looks down at his dance partner he can see her true and natural beauty and her sparkling eyes. Branch meanwhile is looking up at him and notices his handsome features and his eyes sparkle in her view. As Branch and Poppy look at each other and hold each other they smile softly.

Poppy slowly pulls Branch up. Their smiles on their faces and eyes stay fixed on each other. The dance partners don't say a thing. Once they are both standing again the song ends without them noticing. Then the spy starts escorting the vampire Queen slowly off the dance floor. The action is simple but, felt like it was something more to them.
