The sun had raised. All the vampires are sleeping. Many trolls are still sleeping the troll village. Sparkles happily walks into her village. She is going to her pod to sleep. The female needs to get some sleep. Sparkles reaches her pod but,just as grabs the door handle she hears a voice! It sounds like Toki's voice?

Sparkles turns around and sees Toki as she slowly walks on the tree branch. Toki is wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie. She has a smile on her face. Sparkles is surprised to see Toki out and about.

"Oh...Hey Toki. ", Sparkles greets trying to hide how tired she is.

Toki stops in her tracks then turns around to see Sparkles. She smile at Sparkles then walk towards her. Toki didn't think she would see Sparkles up this early. Usually she would still be in her pod.

" What are you doing so early in the morning? ",Sparkles asks curious.

"I'm going to the beach to visit and the whales before I go to the Bergens. I'm going to increase my protest and Save The Orcas!What about you? ", Toki says happily.

Everything so far for Toki's mission is going well. She is a few steps closer to saving the Orcas. She has a lot of trolls going with her to make a stand. Sparkles actually wanted to go too but,  she isn't sure if she will be able too.

Alarm bells go off in the glitter troll's head! She can't tell her the truth! It's a secret! It's a big fat secret with other secrets attached to it! Maybe one day in the future she will tell her friends but, not today! Sparkles quickly thinks of something.

" Oh...I was just - just in the forest star gazing and accidentally fell asleep? ",Sparkles lies.

It wasn't completely a lie. She was in the forest. The Pop troll hopes they buy the lie. Toki notices how her friend sounds a little unsure at the end. She wonders why does Sparkles sound so unsure at the end of her sentence. She gives Sparkles a look that shows a little suspension.

" You don't sound sure...",Toki comments.

" I'm sure. My mind went somewhere else for a second... ",Sparkles says trying to be as convincing as possible.

Sparkles hopes that Toki will believe her and let the whole thing slide. Luckily for her, Toki decided to let it slide and to believe her even know to her Sparkles seemed to be acting a little weird. Toki shakes it off and starts focusing on other things.

" Okay then... How about you join me in visiting the whales since your up?", Toki says friendly.

The glitter troll thinks for a moment. If she quickly drinks an energy can or maybe coffee she can stay awake to visit the whales and help Toki out. The female smiles at her friend. Sparkles didn't see anything wrong with it.

"Sure. Sounds like fun. Just let me freshen up quickly...", Sparkles replies softly.

The Pop troll goes into her pod quickly. She let's out a relieved sigh as her back leans against the door. Sparkles was afraid that Toki would figure out her certain secrets. That was a bit of a close one for Sparkles.

Few moments later somewhere else in the village a pink glowbug flies with a letter. It goes into a pod window into Peppy's bedroom. The glowbug notices that the old troll is finishing up with brushing her hair. It flies to her chirping happily. Then suddenly the leader drops her hair brush surprised! She turns around and sees the critter. Peppy stares at the glowbug with the letter for moment. The mother has a feeling she knows who the letter is from.

Hope grows in her that her son is okay. Poppy hadn't send a letter before for this mission so if this is the first letter then it must be a good sigh! Peppy slowly takes the letter from the cute critter then opens the white envelope. She pulls out a picture and a smile spreads across her face at seeing her son again. Poppy had to send the photo to his mother cause he knew she will be missing him and be worried about him. Seeing that her son is okay made the mother feel lighter.

Then brings her attention to the woman with him. Peppy has no idea what the vampire Queen looks like or that she is in the picture with Poppy. The mother looks at the woman confused and wondering who she is. After a few minutes of looking at the picture Peppy finally puts it down on her old wooden dresser.

The pink glowbug lands on the old woman's bed and decides to rest a little. It let's out a tired and small yawn as it slowly closes it's sleepy eyes. It had flied a long way.

Peppy sits down on her bed next to the sleepy critter. The letter is in her hand. The mother starts to read the letter out loud to herself.

"Dear Mom and The Strings

How is everyone doing? How are things with the village and The Strings? I hope you all are doing okay.

I'm doing okay. The vampire way of living is going to take time to get use to but, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. I have learn lots of things already during my first few days! On the night when me and the pack were sent in the forest the Vampire Queen came to rescue me.

I didn't know it was her until she introduced herself. She clearly has some good fighting skills. She fought while making it look almost effortless. After she took me the vampire kingdom, Vampdom, she had made me an official citizen and put me in shelter for homeless and turned vampires to stay in for the meantime.

It turns out vampires don't just drink blood. They eat and drink other kinds of foods and drinks. It's important for their diet. Also apparently they do sleep in beds and the coffin thing was something done centuries ago. Now it is just a stereotype. So is lots of other stuff we thought vampires did or have or are like. Vampdom is really grand looking kingdom.

They have this fun festival called " The Moon Festival" and it happens every year. It is tied to this legend about how a vampire king used the moonlight and an magical ancient artifact to save the vampire kingdom. I saw the show about it with the vampire Queen. I convinced her with a little help of one of her friends to spend the festival with me.

She honestly wasn't like how I thought she would be. She is like nobody I ever met. Nobody acts the way she does around me. Usually others are open and happy around me but, she was different. At one point something was bothering her but, when I tried to comfort her and talk to her she refused to tell me what was wrong.

Then these other vampires came along and made her more upset. After they left I spent the rest of the night trying to cheer her up. You know how I don't like seeing others being unhappy. We had a lot of fun at the festival just enjoying it.

The picture I sent is of the vampire Queen and me at the festival. I want mom to keep it. Please take care and tell the Snack Pack to make sure my mother is okay for me. I'll miss you.

Snack Pack Leader...",Peppy reads out loud to herself.

Peppy takes a moment to process everything. She is so happy that her son is okay but, at the same time shocked by all the new information! Being a mother her heart warms at her son's words and is proud of him but, as the leader the vampire hunters she is happy to get new information on the vampires and especially their Queen. Peppy walks slowly back to her dresser then puts the letter down. The vampire hunter picks up the picture and looks at Branch. Now she knew what the vampire Queen looks like...

AN: Well now The Strings will know about the Vampire Queen... Originally I was going to include one more person in the chapter but, I had to change that.
