Poppy sits at the table next to Branch. Cheryl has snapped out of her happy "My ship" eyes. The nine women and one man are still talking. Branch feels a little uncomfortable at how close Poppy is to her. She is not used to having Poppy around and close.

"So how did you two meet?", Lee asks curious.

The way Lee said it sounded like Poppy is Branch's new boyfriend! It wasn't on purpose but,Branch took note of it while Poppy didn't. The Vampire Queen raises an eyebrow at Lee. That is one of last things she thought would happen.

" You make it sound like me and Poppy are dating!", Branch says honestly while blushing.

Some of the others,especially Cheryl,chuckles at Branch's claim. They find her reaction kind of adorable in a way. Cheryl thought " Maybe not now but, soon...". Poppy blushes a little at Branch's claim but,he didn't understand why. Branch just rolls her eyes at her friends.

"I was captured by the vampire hunters after I accidentally turned myself into a vampire. They took me deeper into the forest to kill me but,then Branch came in and saved me.", Poppy tells.

Branch and the other vampire women turn,except Cheryl, turn to Poppy confused. Accidentally turned? That didn't really make sense to them. Branch raises her eyebrow again.

" What do you mean by "accidentally turn"?", Branch asks confused.

Poppy quickly thinks back to the story he studied. He feels nervous but,hopes that he remembers what to say. He honestly prefers honesty over all but, this is different. Poppy had to be untruthful for his mission. The spy tries to sound as believable as possible!

" Well,I was exploring the forest a little but, then I got lost. I met this strange and mysterious troll and he gave me this bottle that probably had vampire venom in. After I drank it I felt dizzy then black out... When I woke up I realized that I wasn't the same anymore and the guy was gone. Then next thing I knew the vampire hunters went after me...",Poppy says softly trying to seem honest and believably affected by his story.

Then Poppy turns to Branch. He has a look in his eyes that seems truthful. Branch notices the look. Poppy isn't lying as he says what he says next.

" You know the rest,Branch... ",Poppy says honestly.

The female vampires didn't know what to say or think. They felt bad for Poppy. It seemed like someone might had wanted him to be killed or something like that. Branch looks into Poppy's eyes. She knows that some trolls can turn another troll into a vampire but, it's very rare! Her grandpa even found a postion book in the castle library once when looking for a new book to read.

The Queen is not sure whether Poppy is telling the truth but, it also made sense since he doesn't have a vampire bite mark on his neck. Then she remembers that the doctor who gave Poppy a check up yesterday night told her that Poppy had some magic and vampire venom in his blood. To Branch, Poppy seemed to be telling the full truth.

" Must had been confusing and scary for you...",Branch replies believing Poppy.

The other vampires,except Cheryl, believe Poppy too. Cheryl knows the truth but, she is not going to say anything. She knows that Branch and Poppy is going to have a interesting love story. Cheryl is just going to play along so things will go smoothly for now. The spy feels the nerves he has been hiding disappear. Poppy nods his head to the Queen then makes it seem like he is bouncing back like he usually does.

"Yeah... Well,I'm fine now ", Poppy says.

Branch decides to ask Poppy something.

" Poppy,do you know someone that might hate you and would want you dead?",Branch asks curious.

The spy is surprised that Branch asked him that! There is no troll in his kingdom who hates him and would want to kill him as far as he knows. Poppy decides to answer truthfully. There is no reason for him to lie about this.

"No. Nobody from my kingdom would do that to me! I'm sure of it.", Poppy says honestly softly.

Branch and her friends are unsure about what Poppy said. Maybe it is just a random troll who just wanted a test subject in Poppy's case but,they,except Cheryl, don't know for sure... The female vampires let the topic go as Poppy asks them about being vampires.

"You'll get the hang of it.", Josjos encourages.

The vampire hunter looks at Josjos. Poppy finds Branch's friends nice. They remind him of his friends. Branch's friends are different from his but,they share a strong and good bond of friendship it seems.

" Thanks.",Poppy replies.

Cheryl looks at Branch and Poppy. She gets an idea that could help Branch and Poppy to spend more time together. The sassy vampire smiles happily then starts speaking. It's time to give the two vampires a little push in the right direction.

"So Branch? Are you going to be showing Poppy around the festival? He is new so who better than the Queen who made the festival happen?", Cheryl asks.

The Queen's head turns to Cheryl. She didn't expect her suggest that too. A smile spreads across Poppy's face. He really would like Branch to show him around. Plus he could learn more about her.

" I actually suggested that too.",Poppy admits.

The pink vampire turn his head to Branch. The Queen notices that Poppy is looking at her. Branch turns her to the spy. She notices the smile on his face.

"Are you still up for it, Branch?",Poppy asks happy and hopeful.

Branch raised an eyebrow at Poppy. She doesn't remember saying " Yes" to Poppy. When did he get the idea that she said "Yes"? The other vampires watch Branch and Poppy finding this moment interesting and cute. Cheryl takes a slip of her drink without taking her eyes off her ship. She finds this moment both cute and entertaining.

" I don't remember saying "Yes"...", Branch replies bluntly.

Poppy quickly thinks of a response.

" But, you didn't say " No" either. ",Poppy points happily and clever.

Branch is taking back a little by the male response. Some of the vampires at the table giggle. They never saw a guy act like this with Branch before. Poppy smiles at Branch.

" Oh come on,Branch. It will be fun! I'm not going to bite you or something like that. ",Poppy says happily and jokes with Branch with his last sentence.

Branch looks at Poppy unsure. Cheryl decides to help Poppy.

" Just relax, Branch. It's not like it's going to kill you to show Poppy around! Sometimes you really need to relax,girl... ",Cheryl says encouraging.

Everyone,except Poppy, look at Cheryl surprised. Branch is the most surprised. What is going on with Cheryl? Poppy gets Branch's attention with very hopeful eyes.

" What do you say,Branch?",Poppy asks hopeful.

Branch looks into Poppy's eyes. The Queen raise an eyebrow after realizing something. She is annoyed at this point.

"Your not gonna stop bugging me til I say " Yes",are you?",Branch asks.

"Yup!", Poppy admits playfully making a 'Popping' sound at the " p".

Poppy gives Branch another smile but,this is more playful than the others. Branch didn't want him to keep bugging her like this so she decides to give him what he wants. She hopes this will be the end of the bugging.

"Fine!", Branch finally agrees annoyed.

Poppy's smile becomes bigger and more happy. He immediately wraps his arms around the Queen excited and pulls her into a hug.

" Yay!",Poppy says excited.

Branch is surprised by the sudden reaction.

"What are you doing? Are you always like this?", Branch asks surprised.

Poppy just laughs while the others,except Cheryl, look at each other confused and amused by the scene in front of them. Cheryl smiles at her ship. She is so telling Sparkles about this!
