Meanwhile, Poppy is taking a walk in the forest. Then he suddenly hears rustling! Poppy feels like he could be in danger. He pulls out a small dagger then walks slowly to the large bushes. Then suddenly two six year old vampires, a boy and girl,step out of the large bushes. They look up and see Poppy with his dagger held up high in the air! The children scream in fear after realizing Poppy is a vampire hunter! They run into the near by and empty tree stump in fear very fast!

Poppy looks shocked at the direction of children. He realizes they must think he was going to kill them! The Vampire hunter didn't blame them as he realizes that he must had looked scary to them. Poppy would never harm a child,even vampire children! He puts the dagger away into the brown holder. The vampire hunter walks slowly to the tree stump.

"Hey there. I'm not going hurt you.", Poppy says soft and gentle.

The hunter looks into the dark tree stump and sees the vampires' little glowing eyes. Poppy can see the fear in their eyes. He didn't like how they are so scared of him.

" Don't be scared!", Poppy says gently and friendly.

The pink troll decides to show the children that he is not going to hurt them. Poppy pulls out the simple dagger then shows the weapon to them.

"See this dagger? I'm not going hurt you with it...", Poppy says gently and

The hunter drops the dagger onto the ground then kicks it away into the bushes. The vampire children watched Poppy get rid of the dagger. Then he takes out a small wooden stake and throws it away somewhere else. The vampire calm down as they realize that the Vampire hunter is unarmed. They walk a little closer to Poppy but, they are still a bit scared. Poppy gets himself onto his knees bringing himself to the children's level.

" Come on. Your safe. It's okay...",Poppy encourages.

Then Poppy's Hug Watch goes off making a 'ding' sound. The boy and girl notice the watch and look at it with curious eyes. They come out to the hunter slowly. The two little vampires go stand in front of the pink troll.

"Hi. I'm Poppy. What are your names?", Poppy asks friendly.

The children look at each other then back at Poppy. Poppy gives them an encouraging smile. The children feel more calm and safe.

" Candy...",the little girl says.

Candy has dull pink hair,hazel eyes,brown nose and dark pink skin. She is wearing a pretty red dress and a blue bow.

"Shadow...", the little boy says.

Shadow has grey - blue skin,black hair,brown eyes and a pink nose. He is wearing black shirts and a grey shirt.

"What's that?", Shadow asks softly and curious as he points to the Hug Watch.

Poppy smiles at the children then looks at his Hug Watch. He quickly brings his attention back to the children. Poppy takes off his Hug Watch and shows it to the children. Shadow and Candy don't take their eyes off the Hug Watch.

" This is my Hug Watch. We Pop trolls wear this to tell us when it is Hug Time. ",Poppy explains to the children.

Both Shadow and Candy are amazed by the pink Hug Watch. They had never seen anything like this before! They like the bright colour of the watch. In the Vampire Kingdom the colours are rarely bright or bold.

" Your a troll?",Shadow and Candy ask together.

Poppy nods his head while smiling confirming that he is a troll.

" The flower is really pretty. Back at home we can get hugs at anytime...",Candy says softly while hugging herself.

Poppy chuckles happily at the little girl's words. Candy and Shadow smile up at Poppy. Then the Hug Watch flower closes. The children gasp in surprise at the action. Poppy finds their reaction adorable and let's out a small chuckle. The Vampire Hunter loves children. Poppy sometimes read stories and scrapbooks to the children in his village.

"Does that mean " Hug Time" is over?",Shadow asks curious.

Poppy nods his head to the vampire children. Soon Poppy walks the two young vampires through the forest to a small meadow. They were lost and had told him they were supposed to stay and play in the small meadow. He hears a female voice calling out the children's names.

"Candy! Shadow!", a female voice calls out.

The children run happily into the meadow but, stop in their in the middle of the meadow. They turn around and smile at Poppy. They like Poppy. Poppy waves slowly at the children "Good Bye" and smiles at them. The boy and girl wave back then runs to their babysitter who is concerned and looking for them. The pink hunter smiles as the children disappear from his view. He looks down at his Hug Watch. Then he starts walking back to his village.

Poppy is not the type of Vampire Hunter who kills every vampire he sees. The only times Poppy killed vampires are when they are attacking,trying to kill him or his team or someone else and are evil and wanting to hurt the people he protects and loves. Most times Poppy would try to avoid fighting and killing. If the vampires he came across were innocent and didn't seem to be a threat he would help them out and let them go since he had no reason to capture them and hurt them. Not many people knew this and even the hunters,except The Snack Pack. Poppy does not have the heart to kill an innocent person!

Soon the pink troll reaches the out skirts of his village. He has forgotten about his dagger and wooden stake completely. He has a smile on his face as he walks towards his village.  Suddenly a glowbug carrying a yellow letter flies to the vampire hunter as he steps into the village. He pets the cute critter then takes the letter gently from it. He opens it as the glowbug flies away.

" Dear Poppy

Meet me and the rest of the Pack at the bunker. We'll be on the floor level.

Love,your friend
DJ...",Poppy reads out loud.
