Four weeks later,Poppy walks through his village with a smile and a pep in his step. Tomorrow is the day he has been training for. He can't wait to start his mission and make his mother proud. The hunter walks to The Strings headquarters. Toki stands outside  near by the mushroom talking up a storm to a Classical troll and Sparkles about whales.

"Hey girls.", Poppy greets as he walks by.

Toki takes a break from talking about whales. The three trolls turn to Poppy and smile at him. The classical troll waves at Poppy while blushing.

" Hey Poppy.",Toki greets happily

"Hi!", Sparkles greets happily.

Toki and Sparkles wish Poppy good luck as he walks away. The Vampire hunter walks into the mushroom. He sees few trolls busy reporting their encounters on paper. Leon is talking to Jessie who sits behind her desk.

" These are last night's reports. Could you please take these to the other Vampire hunters for me?",Jessie asks sweetly.

Leon thinks for a quick few seconds. He gives Jessie a small smile while nodding his head. He didn't mind helping another troll out.

Poppy walks to the elevator and gets onto it. The pink troll pulls the lever down causing the lift to move down. Soon he reaches the floor level. He sees most of the other Vampire hunters. Poppy quickly gets off and as he steps away the elevator went up by itself.

"Hey!", Poppy greets excited.

He gets nice and friendly welcome from most of them. Danny just watches from the corner with three other members of The Fang Gang. They have neutral expressions on their faces.

Within minutes Leon joins them with a box and puts it down on the table. Peppy enters the room ready for this meeting. She slowly gets to the table with the help of her cane.

" Is everyone here? ",Peppy asks.

Coop does a quick head count. Then she looks at Peppy with a smile.

" Yup! Like group hugging a wave...",Coop says cheerful then laughs.

Everyone looks at Coop for a minute. Coop did not always make sense. The Snack Pack are as surprised as everyone else. And they know how Coop is personally but, she still never fails to surprise them! Satin and Chenille are just about to question Coop when Peppy suddenly spoke.

"Okay Coop. Let's start this meeting before I start forgetting what it is about again...", Peppy says.

Peppy has become a bit forgetful overtime. Her memory is still working fine most of the time. Sometimes Poppy has to remind her of a few things. Everyone brings their attention to Peppy.

" Adam,you didn't really give details when you told Archer and me that you figured out a way to turn a troll into a vampire. It's time for you to give us that information.",Peppy says.

Adam steps forward closer to the table. Adam is a country troll. He has black fur,light brown skin,sunset orange hair,yellow eyes and black nose. He is wearing a dark grey overalls and a black cowboy hat. The hunter has a proud smile on his face.

"You all know that I did some searching and can create magic postions. I had found a recipe in my postions book...", Adam says serious.

He reaches into his hair under his hat. Then he pulls out a big book full of magical mixtures. Adam opens it to the correct page then puts it down on the table. All the other hunters move closer to the table. They all look at the marked page. It has a few pictures on it with mostly writing. The paper looks old and is a little torn on few edges. Poppy is the most curious about the page. Poppy studies the page as Adam talks.

" If Poppy drinks a mixture of vampire venom,magical transformation liquid and blood in the moonlight he'll be turned into a vampire! I have all the ingredients to create the mixture. It will take some time to make correctly but, I will be able to get it done in time for tomorrow night... ",Adam says serious.

Poppy looks up at Adam. He had heard what Adam said. The mixture seemed simple to make to him. So all he had to do was drink it in the moonlight? That didn't sound too hard to Poppy.

" Is there a Antidote so we could turn Poppy back to normal?", Peppy asks.

She is concerned about that detail. It would help Peppy a lot more to know that Poppy could be turned back into a troll. Even if Poppy was turned into a vampire and couldn't change back to a troll she will still love him. There's no doubt about that! Adam turns to Peppy.

"Yes,there is...", Adam says.

Peppy feels a little relieved. Then Adam turns back to the book. He points to a small text and starts talking.

"The Antidote is different but, it will take less time to make. Poppy would have just to drink it and he will be back to normal in a hour or more..."Adam explains.

Poppy is not really concerned about the antidote. As long as it works everything will be fine. Hopefully his positive mindset is right. Thirty minutes later, the meeting has come to it's end. Peppy rolls up her map with a newly drawn 'X' on certain part of the forest.

" Poppy I need you stay here for a little longer. As for the rest of you,your all are now dismissed!",Peppy says serious.

All the other hunters, except Poppy,leave Poppy and Peppy alone. The room is completely quiet. Poppy and Peppy stand at the table. Poppy looks at his mother.

"Mom, Is something wrong?", Poppy asks.

Peppy let's out a sigh. She still feels worried about her son. The idea of losing Poppy is scares her!

" Poppy,this mission does bother me. As the leader of The Strings the safety of trolls,including my hunters, is very important but, as your mother your safety is more important. I wouldn't let you do this if I didn't believe in you but, I need you to pinky promise me something... ",Peppy says.

Poppy looks at his mother. He didn't think that his mother would still be worried about this. He gives his mother an understanding nod. Pinky Promises are the most powerful promise to make and you never break them!

" What's the promise?",Poppy asks.

"Pinky Promise me that you will do your best to protect yourself and stay safe because,your not going to have anyone out there to help you...", Peppy says worried and serous.

Poppy smiles at his mother. He makes the powerful Pinky Promise to ease his mother's mind. Once the great wave of pink light is gone,Poppy hugs his mother.

" Don't worry. I'll be fine. You teached me everything you knew to fight against vampires and survive.",Poppy says as he hugs his mother.

Peppy feels a lot better now. She knows she has to let Poppy go but, sometimes she forgets that he is not a little boy anymore. She smiles as they break the hug.

"I love you and am proud of you.", Peppy says happily as she puts some of Poppy's left bang behind his ear.

" I love you too,Mom.",Poppy replies happily.
