Finn's P.O.V

The dining room had four sets of plates laid neatly which was unusual for me and my brother to see. I glance at the maids seeing them place forks and spoons on the side of the plates. My father handed one of the maids his suitcase and sat on one of the seats and started to dig in. I look at my older brother Nick with a confused expression. I look at my mother seeing her take a seat next to my father with a wide grin on her lips. This was an unusual thing to see in the Wolfhard family. We never have family meals together unless there was an important visitor coming or an important event is coming soon. "Dad, what's going on?" I asked as I stare at the table filled with freshly baked food.

"Sit down you two, we have something very important to share you two," Our mother says as she gestures her hands to the seats. I take an empty seat that was closest to me. I glance at my dad seeing him place several things on his plate. My mom glanced at him and shoved his shoulder slightly making his attention come back to us. "My company is going to have another party," He says calmly.

My dad has owned a large movie company for several years. He throws a huge party every year celebrating some kind of success that they did that year. Many celebrities go and celebrate their success for acting. My brother and I were always forced to bring a date to those parties. Our parents would always choose our date unless we found someone to bring which I never did. Those parties were always hell for me. The girl that I end up bringing to the party was some dumb blond that's horny for everything. There are times when I'd play around with the girl if I was ever bord. The music that they played was always such a pain in the ass to listen too. It was always so boring to go to. I tried ditching but was always caught by one of the security guards.

"For what? Having the number one film in America?" Nick asked sarcastically as he starts placing food on his plate. It was very common for my dad's films to be number one so it was never new for us to hear. "No, we're celebrating because of having five films in the top ten movies of the year," My eyes widened.

"Congrats dad," I said with a small smile making him smile back.

"Thanks, son." It was silent again.

"So..." My mother says as she moves her food around with her fork. "...you two need dates," She says with a mischievous smirk. Both Nick and I groan with annoyance.

"Mom, we don't need a date!" Nick says. My mom gasps making me roll my eyes.

"You cannot go to a party without a date, that's why I made you two these files," She says handing Nick and me a folder filled with several papers in them. I've never seen her put this much effort into finding me and Nick a date. "Mom!" We both say in unison. I open up the file seeing several photos of girls with there information on the side. I'm tired of this bullshit, I need to find myself a date, Millie!

"I don't need this Mom," I said as I handed her back the files of girls.

"What why?" She asked worriedly.

"Because I already have a date," I explained. I look around the table seeing everyone's eyes on my including the maids.

"Really? Who?" My parents say in unison.

"Millie," Everyone's eyes widened.

Millie's P.O.V

The school hallways were crowded as usual. Music was blasting through my ears as people continue to call me a freak. I reached my locker that still had the word freak scratched into it. As I open my locker thousands of rose petals flew out of my locker making me jump with surprise. I look around seeing everyone's eyes on me. I suddenly heard my locker shut making me jump again. I turn around seeing Jacob leaning against my locker with a rose in his hand. "The hell are you doing?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Giving you the most romantic thing a girl could ever ask for." He explained. I cross my arms ignoring all the stares. "I'm not like most girls," I said as pushed him aside for me to open my locker.

"What you don't like roses?" He asked as he leans against a locker that was next to mine. I struggled to get my book since several petals were blocking it. I rolled my eyes with frustration and turn to Jacob. "I hate roses," I said with no emotion. I pulled out all the roses out of my locker and grabbed my textbook and shut it tight. The sound of the school bell echoed through the hallway.

"Don't ever go through my fucking locker," I said as I point to Jacob giving him the biggest death glare that I've ever given and quickly walked away. "See you around Brown!" He yells.

"Not likely," I yelled back. I glance back seeing him sending me a wink. I turned back around and lifted my middle finger in the air. I suddenly felt a hard grip on my arm pulling me into a pitch black room. My heart was pumping with fear. Who the hell is in hear? Am I abducted? Did a rapist take me, oh please don't be a rapist. "Please don't rape me! Please don't rape me!" I yell as loud as I can. A hand was suddenly placed on my lips making my shut up quickly. The lights were suddenly turned on making me blink a couple times. I look around realizing I'm inside a janitors closet. I sigh with relief that I'm still in school. Wait, but how did I get in to hear. I look up seeing an annoyed Finn standing in front of me. "It's me," He says calmly.

"What are we doing here?" I asked annoyed.

"You promised a date right?" He asked. I raised an eyebrow.

"Technically you forced me-"

"That's not the point!" He said quickly cutting me off making me roll my eyes again.

"My parents throw this huge party every year to celebrate what they're successfully done in my dad's company. Every year my parents force me to bring a date which they always set me up for, so I need you," He explained. "So are you in?" He asked. I stayed silent debating on my answer.

"What if I say no?" I asked.

"You can't, you already promised a date remember?" He asks. I roll my eyes for the fifth time.

"Fine," I said.

"Great, here's the invitation to the party..." He says as he hands me a black envelope with a gold wax seal on the front that had the letter W printed on the wax seal."Sadie will take you shopping and find you the right outfit for the party," He explained.

"Okay, when?" I asked

"Right now," He says calmly.

(A/N): EXTREMELY SORRY for not posting for a while. Finding out Millie and Jacob are together really broke me. But if she's happy then I'm okay. Hope you guys liked the story.
