Millie's P.O.V

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen, I would like to announce the top ten winners of the creative writing competition," Mr. Sicken, the principle of my school says loudly making several students wake up from this early morning. I spotted Ms. Jones straightening up from her seat listening to the announcements.

"Ages to Go, by Mary Williams, Stop and Stay, by Steve Liam..." The list went on for a couple more minutes. "... and last but not least Stranger Things, by Millie Bobby Brown." My heart stopped hearing my full name being announced.

"Those are our top ten winners, I wish you all good Luck top ten, and have a good feast of your day students," Ms. Jones quickly jumps up from her seat jumping up and down excitedly but quickly stops from all the stares from the students. Snickering was spread around the room as she was fixing her pencil skirt. "Congratulations Millie for reaching the top ten, lets give her a round of applause." Several students were clapping as they stared at me. I felt overwhelmed from all the stares. I wanted the to all look away. Ms. Jones notices my discomfort and quickly grabbed all the students attention and continued with class work. I sigh with relief and sat low on my seat with my hood on staying low.

"Congrats," A family voice says. I was currently at my locker. I look up seeing Finn with a smirk on him lips. "Thanks," I said quickly and turned back to my locker.

"I didn't know you write," He says leaning closer. "Not a lot of people do," I said ignoring his close presence.

"Would you be willing to share me your story?" He asks tilting his head slightly. "Oh, on, I don't share any of my stories to anyone,"

"Then why join the writing competition if you're not gonna share any of your writing." I shut my locker and faced him. "Ms. Jones was the one that signed me up for the competition, I didn't want to," I explained. He nods with an understanding expression. I rolled my eyes and started walking away from Finn until he started following me. "Uhh, why can't you leave me alone?" I asked annoyed.

"Why do you always want to be alone?" He asks crossing his arms. "Because I don't like people in general," He chuckles at my statement.

"Do you really want to know what's gonna take for me to leave you alone?" I nod eagerly. "Then go on a date with me," My shoulders dropped. If that's the only thing that'll make him leave me alone then I'll do it.

"Fine, just text me when and where," I said as I rip out a peace of scratch paper writing my number and quickly walking away leaving a satisfied Finn in the middle of the hallway.

Finn's P.O.V

"Fine, just text me when and where," She says as she writes her number on a scratched peace of paper giving me satisfaction. She hands me the small peace of paper and quickly walks away. I turn back to my friends showing the small paper in front of them. "Now that ladies and gents is how you get a girls number,"

"By bothering them until they do so?" Sadie asks with an eyebrow raised making Grace and the guys laugh. "Shut up, at least she agreed on going on a date with me,"

"Mhm," Caleb says sarcastically making me roll my eyes. I finally got a date with Millie.
