RYKER POV

Adam and I find a seat in the waiting room. He looks at me. "Daddy, I want to see Santana and Mummy." He has tears in his eyes.

I pull my son into my arms. "I'm sorry, Adam. You can't see them just yet. The doctors are looking after them. They were hurt in a car accident."

Adam hugs me. He buries his face into my jumper and I feel his body shake in my arms. I kiss head.

The doctor exits the hall and he looks at me. "Are you with Jacinta Collins?"

I nod. "Yes, Sir." I put Adam on the seat. "I'm going to talk to the Doctor. I'll be right back."

I walk over to the Doctor. "What's going on? Is she alright?"

The Doctor looks at Adam and then at me. "She's fine. But, there might be a chance the baby might not survive."

Baby? She never told me she was pregnant.

I shake my head. "I didn't know she was pregnant. She didn't mention anything when we left the hospital this morning."

The doctor touches my arm. "I'm sorry."

I walk over to the seat and put my head in my arms.

Why didn't she tell me?

Adam wraps his arms around me. "Daddy, don't cry. I don't like seeing you upset."

I don't like being upset either.

Another Doctor exits the hall and he looks at me. "Are you the parent/Guardian of Santana Collins?"

I rise. "Yes, I am. How is she?"

"She has a few bruises from where the seatbelt dug into her. Other than that she's perfectly healthy. Do you want to see her?"

"Yes, please."

The doctor shows us to her room.

Adam pushes the door open and he sees his little sister in the big hospital bed.

She looks so small in that bed.

Santana looks at me and she cries. "Where's Mummy?"

I move toward her. "The Doctors are making her better."

She looks away from me. "I don't like you. Mummy, is hurt because of you."

I touch her arm. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. I'll make everything up to you and Mummy. I never wanted you to go away."

Santana wipes her face. "Are you going to marry her?"

I want to. But, I'm not sure if I should since she kept this a secret from me.

I sigh. "When Mummy gets better we'll talk about it." I kiss her head. "I love you, Santana."

Santana smiles. "I love you, daddy."

Adam climbs on the bed and he sits next to her. "What about me?"

She pushes him. "Love you, Adam."

Adam's face turns red. He looks at the ground.

I laugh.

My kids are cute.

The doctor wheels Jacinta into the room on a gurney. He puts her bed next to Santana's. "I think mother and daughter will heal much better if they are together, Mr Sullivan."

I smile. "Thank you, Doctor."

The Doctor exits the room. He closes the door.

I move to Jacinta's side of the bed and I hold her hand. I run my fingers over her face. I push a piece of hair out of her face. I kiss her temple and whisper. "Please, wake up."

Santana and Adam move off there bed and sit on Jacinta's.

Santana kisses her mother's cheek. "Wake up, Mummy. Daddy and Adam are here too."

Adam wraps his arms around Jacinta. "I'm here, Mummy. Wake up, please." He starts crying.

Jacinta's eyes flutter open and she looks around the room. "Water," she croaks out.

I press the button for a nurse.

A nurse walk into the room. She looks at Jacinta and smiles. "How are you feeling, Miss Collins?"

"Thirsty."

She laughs. "I need to do a few tests before I can get you the water."

Jacinta nods.

The nurse does a few tests and she give Jacinta a glass of water.

Jacinta looks at the nurse. "How's the baby?"

The nurse looks at Jacinta. "I'm not sure. I'll get the doctor as he's the one taking care of you." she exits the room.

I rise. "Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant?"

She has tears in her eyes. "I didn't tell you because I didn't like the look in your eyes after I told you what happened between my husband and I." She looks at Adam. "I don't want to put your family in danger."

I move over to her and grab her face.

She looks into my eyes.

"You are my family, Jacinta. Adam, Santana and you are all mine. I didn't want you to leave tonight. I was in shock from what you told me. When I found the car. I thought the worst about Santana and you." I smile. "My family will be complete in nine months."

She sits up in the bed. "It's eight months. I am a month into the pregnancy."

I sit on the bed next to her. "Do you want to tell the children?"

She shakes her head. "We'll tell them when the three months is over. I don't want them to get there hopes up if something goes wrong."

I kiss her.

She wraps her arms around my neck.

Santana and Adam are giggling.

I pull away from her.

Our kids hug Jacinta and I.

The doctor enters the room and I put a movie on for them on my phone. They watch the movie while Jacinta talks to the doctor.

I hold her hand as she asks. "Did the baby survive?"

He nods. "Yes, your baby survived. When I release you from hospital I'm going to put you on bedrest. I saw that you were in here recently. You got dizzy in the shower, is that right?"

"Yes,"

"Santana and you need to stay overnight for observation. I'll let you leave sometime tomorrow."

Jacinta smiles. "Thank you, doctor."

The doctor exits the room and I hold on to her. She whispers. "I'm glad our baby didn't get hurt. I covered my stomach before I blacked out." She looks at me. "I'm tired."

Jacinta closes her eyes.

I turn towards the kids. "You two need to get some sleep."

Santana and Adam share the bed and I cover them up.

I kiss them on the cheeks.

They close their eyes.

I move a seat towards Jacinta's bed. I lie my head on the bed and fall asleep with my family.

I am woken by someone moving their hands through my hair. I open my eyes and see Jacinta smiling.

She pats the bed. "I want you to sleep with me. You don't look comfy in that chair."

I rise and climb into the bed with her. I wrap my arms around her. "I love you, Jacinta."

She smiles. "I love you, too. I'm still tired, Ryker. Go to sleep." She closes her eyes again.

I watch her chest rise and fall for a couple of minutes. I hear some nurses enter the room. I close my eyes and pretend to be asleep. "That's so cute."

Another one says. "I want to have a family like that someday."

The first one laughs. "I've seen families cuter than that."

The door closes.
