I wasn't sure about this. Witches and other supernatural creatures stay in their own lanes. Our only common denominator is that we keep our identity hidden from the humans. I do not want to work with a witch. "You don't smell like a witch." I said, looking this woman up and down. Carefully making a mental note of everything she has on and also her scent.

"I am a mix of vampire and witch. I am a rare species." The woman spoke up.

"Show me your fangs then." I said, intrigued by her. I have heard of creatures like her, but never have I seen someone of this mix. I definitely don't trust her. I folded my arms and waited for her.

She looked a bit scared and then she looked at Naomi. Naomi nodded at her giving her approval and the woman licked over her canines and her fangs appeared. She put them back.

"Intriguing.. can you see into the future?" I asked, thinking of ways that I can use her to my advantage. There is a potential threat against my pack and I cannot risk losing any of them.

"Yes, I can." She spoke softly. "Among other things." Finally she had a smile across her face, and I couldn't help that she was beautiful.

Vanessa walked into the living room. "Alpha... I will be back tomorrow." Vanessa said, looking like she could go another round. She knows that she is not to touch me or kiss me in front of others. That's how I keep things under control.

"See you then.." I said, and then focusing my attention on this woman again. Vanessa sniffed her and looked at her. "What are you?" I could feel that Vanessa wanted to attack her cause I can hear her heart racing.

"Vanessa.. stop." I commanded her. "Go on about your day." I said, knowing that Vanessa is a hot head. She's not able to control herself like Naomi can.

"Fine... I will see you again." Vanessa said, looking at the woman and then walking out of the living room. She has a protective way about her which I appreciate and also loath at the same time.

"Sorry about that.. we really don't allow....others to enter my home." I said.

"No, it's fine." She smiled.

"What is your name ma'am?" I asked, further intrigued by her and her entire aura.

"Ember Moon." She extended her hand to me and I shook it.

"I would like to speak to you... alone in my study." I said, there were things I could not discuss in front of Naomi. I am still leery of trusting this vampire/witch girl. I have never seen her a day in my life and I know Naomi would never bring someone into my house that she did not trust.

She followed me into my study and once we walked in, she closed the door behind me without touching it. I looked at her a bit surprised. "A woman of many talents." I said, looking at her. She was different, there is something very soft about her. Witches are known for being secretive and most of the time very dark.

She did not seem like any of the witches I've met over the years.  Everything about her was soft but her eyes were also focused on me.

"Yes, I have learned a few things to survive. I always feel like I am being hunted or people close to me turn their backs on me. If I help you with your issue in exchange I want protection from your pack. I have tons of protection spells but there has been talk in the town of sighting of werewolves, witches and vampires. If someone reveals our identity we all are at risk."

I nodded. "That is the plight of every supernatural creature. We fight and live to protect our secret. I can provide that type of protection. But, I need to find out first about my former beta, Bo Dallas. He was removed from the pack and we believe he is the one who attacked Dean in the night. Dean said he could not see anything. Maybe he has a witch with him to assist with the attack." I shook my head. "I am not sure how you know Naomi, but she's in love with Dean. She's our first shewolf bitten into the pack. She survived the change. The other women we have were born into this. Naomi is special and her bond with Dean is unbreakable. I have to protect my betas."

"Okay, I can help but I would need something of Bo's so that I can tap into him. Any thing that you have of his."

I thought for a moment. "Let me ask one of my betas and I can get that to you."

"Good... work on that and I will return when it's here. I will know and I will show up. No need to call me." Ember grinned, and that made me smile.

"What's more dominate your witch side or vampire side?"

"Witch.. I was born a witch and bitten by a vampire. It's a long story.." Ember said, walking out of the study.

Ember's POV

I was in a hurry to get out of his office. If my coven finds out that I am helping out a wolf, I am not sure what they will do to me. I am doing this favor for Naomi, because I know all about her relationship with Dean. It's utterly beautiful and one day I want something as special as what she has.

I hope that his stench isn't on me. I was very careful not hug him or stay close to him. Out of respect because he is the Alpha I shook his hand. I will have to do a quick cleansing spell, so that my coven won't think anything.

I needed to get out of here and back to my home.
