I woke up on the couch with Oliver. We must have fallen asleep watching a movie. I was packed and ready to go to New York but what I didn't know was if I'm ready to see everyone.

We got on the plane and it was a long flight. 5 hours and 40 minutes to be exact. I wanted so badly to see Nat and Wanda but I didn't want to see the guys. Especially Bucky.

When we got to the compound Oliver was in awe. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. We walked in and his eyes lit up. He was so excited to meet everyone and I felt so bad that I was only going to make them upset. And they will be. Especially because I brought an outsider to the compound.

"Umm Y/n. Who the heck is that?" Tony asked.

"This is my boyfriend Oliver. I met him in Texas." I replied.

Bucky heard me call Oliver my boyfriend and he got upset and went to his room. What was his problem? He sent me there and I moved on. He should too.

"No outsiders remember."

"I know but you're not my boss anymore. You stopped being my boss the day you told me I was leaving."

Tony was in shock. He couldn't believe that I just said that to him. But if he wanted to play dirty I was going to fight back.

"He cant be here Y/n" Bruce chimed in.

"Wow okay so its perfectly fine for you guys to throw me out of my home but when I come back to visit and I bring someone I care about I get lectured for it? Thats not how this works."

"The rule was no outsiders. You still have to follow those rules." Bruce said again.

"I get that there's rules, but given that they are stupid ass rules I've elected to ignore them. I can bring whoever I want. Oliver is the reason I'm here."

"What do you mean?" Bucky said.

I guess I didn't notice him walking back into the room.

"Oliver bought me the ticket to come. I had originally planned on never coming back. I want to forget my New York life. I want to forget all of you. You guys basically tossed me away like I was nothing and when I moved to Texas, Oliver was the first person to talk to me."

"Why did you come back if you wanted to forget us so badly?" Wanda replied.

I saw her and I felt so bad for what I just said Nat and Wanda were like my sisters and I basically just told them I wanted to forget they even existed.

"I came back because of Oliver why is that so hard to understand and in all honesty I thought you guys would be happier to see me but considering I've been getting lectured and questioned this whole time I'm going back home."

Bucky moved closer to me and Oliver noticed. I wasn't sure was Bucky was doing and I tried not to overthink it but that was very difficult.

"Please don't go Y/n. Why did you even bring him in the first place? He doesn't belong here."

Oliver looked hurt. I wanted to punch Bucky but I knew he had a point so if Oliver didn't belong neither did I because I'm just a regular person now. I'm just like everyone else.

"If he doesn't belong neither do I James. I'm just a normal person now. The Avengers are in my past and thats a past I never want to go back to."

I grabbed Oliver's hand and we left. I was so mad at them for what they did to me and I come back to visit and get ridiculed. This was ridiculous.
