A couple days later I was getting ready to leave when there was a knock at the door. I open the door to find a man standing there in a nice black suit. "Ms. Miller?" He asks.

"Yes, can I help you?"

"Mr. Matthews sent for me to pick you up and bring you to the airport, are you ready to leave?"

"Yes but I had a ride coming."

"Call and cancel the ride, he insists that I bring you."

I sigh and grab my phone to cancel the cab. I don't understand why he keeps persisting that I can't get my own rides. I wonder if he was this way with his other personal assistant.

I walk outside with him and he has a limo outside waiting for me. My mouth drops. He opens the door for me to get in and Mr. Matthews is inside on a phone call.

"Was this really necessary?" I ask him as I'm shocked to see him inside.

He hangs up the phone. "You do have your passport?" He asks.

I nod "Of course."

"I've never been in a limo before." I tell him nervously but excited.

He pours me a glass of champagne. "Isn't it a little early to be drinking?" I ask.

"Just enjoy the short ride will you?" He says stearnly.

What I've learned is to be quiet and do as he says, I don't need to piss him off especially since I'll be stuck in Paris with him for the next few days.

We pull up to the airport and they bring us to his private plane. I walk in the plane and was amazed. It looks nothing like what I've been in before. There's a couch, bed, TV, chairs, kitchen you name it, just like a camper but in an airplane and way nicer.

"This is nicer than my apartment!" I say excitedly.

I sit down and relax waiting for them to take off. Once in the air he told me I was free to roam around. I got up to check everything out. I walk to the back of the plane to where the bed was and looked at all the photos that were on the wall.

Must be his family I say quietly. I turn around and I bump into him. "Oh." I yelp. "Sorry I wasn't expecting you behind me."

"What do you think?" He asks

"Nice, very nice. Must be rough owning your own plane and have a set up like this, just take off and go anywhere and whenever you'd like."

"It's a lot of maintenance. I just came back here to see if you were hungry. They have the food done."

I go back to sit and see that they have belgium waffles made with strawberries and whip cream. "Looks good." I say with a smile.

After we eat all the excitement hit and I fell asleep. He wakes me up as were about to land "Wow I slept that long?"

"You're going to be up all night." He says to me. I look out the window and see all the lights "Just beautiful." I say in awe.

"What time is it here? About midnight?" I ask. "It will be soon." He says.

We land and check into our hotel. They were happy to see him "Let me guess, you own this as well." He just looked at me and smiled.

We get to his room, "Where's my room?" I ask confused as he's opening the door to his room. He looks at me, "You'll be staying in my suite." He says.

I shake my head "Oh no, I'll need my own room." I say to him as I take a step back.

"This room is big enough for the both of us, plenty of room to sleep." He says standing with the door open. "Now get your ass in here." He demands.

I walk in and look around "You're not kidding this room is huge!"

"There's only one bed though!" I say in shock. "The bed is big enough, you'll be just fine. I don't bite."

"Isn't it a little weird? You're my boss."

He walks up to me and cups the side of my cheek "You'll be just fine." He says in a soft tone. By him just touching me made me gasp and that voice of his just makes me feel crazy inside.

"I know you just slept for almost 6 hours but we need to get some rest, we have to leave here in about 8 hours."

I go to the bathroom to change into a nightgown. "Wish I knew we were sleeping in the same room I would have grabbed something else to wear." I snapped at him as I walked out of the bathroom.

Mr. Matthews POV:

I look at her as she walked out of the bathroom, she looked breathtaking. Her long thin legs, her breasts, her long dark hair and those plump lips of hers I've been dying to kiss for the last few days. She's just beautiful.

"Wish I knew we were sleeping in the same room I would have grabbed something else to wear." She snapped at me.

"Relax.. will you?" I demand.

"Mr. Matthews I-"

"You can call me by my first name. It's Levi." I say to her cutting her off.

"I was just going to say it just feels weird to sleep in a bed with your boss you barely know." She says quietly.

"Just climb in bed and go to sleep."

She climbs in bed as I change into some pajama pants, I climb into the other side of the bed. She rolls over laying at the edge of the bed. I just let her be and closed my eyes.

The next morning I wake up and order room service for us before our big day. I stand there looking over at her while she's sleeping. I wonder if she will ever open the doors for me and let me get to know her. I guess we both started off on the wrong foot and have been at each others throats all week.

I wake her up as the room service arrived. "Get something to eat, we have a big day today." I say to her. She looks back at me with her big green eyes, not saying a word.

I throw her a robe "Here you can put this on."

Alexis POV:

I put on the robe that he threw to me and went over to eat some breakfast. "What am I suppose to wear, anything special?" I say to him as I grab some bacon.

"Wear something business casual, tonight is when you need to dress up."

On our way to meet with clients he was pretty quiet looking over the paperwork. "Is there something that I can help with?"

"There is actually, but we will get to that later." He says as he is looking over the papers.

Once we get to the their office we go over the job site and the details of the hotel being built, I show them pictures of what it will potentially look like and they are thrilled. They shake on the deal. Again I see a genuine smile from Mr. Matthews.

"You know, you should smile more often, it looks good on you." I say to him as we're leaving. He just gave me a serious look. So I left it at that.

After all our running around and deal making's we went back to the hotel to change.

"What is it exactly that we're going to tonight?" I ask.

"It's a dinner and dance get together with Billionaires from around the world."

I don't say anything, I just get the feeling of being really nervous, that it will be way out of my league.

I get ready and walk out of the room to where Levi was. "Is this dress ok? It's all I have." I ask him. He turns around and just stared at me. "Shit, it's not ok." I say to him when he doesn't say anything. I go to turn around "No, it's perfect you look stunning." He says not taking an eye off of me.

"Let's get going, were already running late."

As were heading over to the dinner, I start fidgeting. He looks over at me and places his hands on mine. "Stop fidgeting, you're making me nervous."

"I can't help it, I'm nervous." I say taking a deep breath. "I've never been around anyone with money."

We pull up to the place and I was in awe "Where are we?"

"We're at the Palace of Versailles."

He walks me in placing his hand on the small of my back making me tingle. His touch is so soft but strong.

I walk in and I instantly fell in love with the place It's gorgeous!

He starts to introduce me to people and as we walk over to the next person he leans and whispers in my ear. "Would you like a drink to calm your nerves? I can still tell you're uptight."

"Sure." I say quietly. He walks away to get us a drink and a very handsome man walks up to me and starts talking to me. "I've never seen you before, who are you here with?" He asks and takes my hand kissing the top of it.

"I'm here with Levi Matthews." He gets a big grin when I said his name. He puts an arm around me and starts walking and talking I look around for Levi wondering what's taking him so long.

I then hear a voice I recognized. "You can take your hands off of her Mr. Daniels." I look to the other side and its Levi. And I felt relieved. He wraps his arm around me and kisses my cheek handing me my drink. "Thanks for keeping her occupied, now if you'll excuse us." He says harshly.

"That guy you want to stay away from, he's dangerous, he's a womanizer and breaks a lot of hearts." He warns.

"Who is he?"

"Real estate investor, just stay clear of him." He says as we take our seat.

After our meal he asked me for a dance which I was in shock not knowing what to say. He stood next to me reaching his hand out. I grabbed his hand as he walked me to the dance floor.

Our bodies were so close together, He moved so elegantly, his body was in sync with the music. I never would have expected this out of him. There was a feeling of sternness to him, like he was someone who shouldn't be underestimated. The warmth between us felt empowering. My heart was pounding and I felt like my breath was being taken away, I started feeling like my heart was growing for him.

I looked deep into his eyes, he leaned down getting close to my lips, I let out a gasp and the music stopped. He then wrapped his arms around me and kissed me on my cheek. "Thank you for the dance." He whispers in my ear.

I looked around and it felt like everyone's eyes were on us. He held onto my hand as we walked off the dance floor. "Would you like to get back to the hotel?" He whispered in my ear.

The way he said that in my ear it sent shivers down my spine, making me feeling warm inside.

"I would like that." I say to him with a warm smile.
