"Cora, you're here! Come in!" Jin said from behind his desk.

His office was lavishly decorated with beautiful artwork and exotic plants, his desk looked very organized and tidy. I looked around the office room admiring his decor, when I began to feel his eyes on me. He was intently watching me, as if he was carefully studying me. He got up and took a few steps closer to me. His delicious cologne filled my nostrils again, and I had to stop myself from inhaling in too deeply. I wanted to speak, but I was having a hard time getting the words out. I felt paralyzed as he stepped closer, inch by inch.

"Finally, I have you alone." Jin said intensely, looking deeply into my eyes. I felt the need to back up with him standing so close. He leaned in so close, his minty breath on my cheek, making the tiny hairs on my skin stand up.

Is he about to kiss me?

"Uh... Yes I'm here." I squeaked.

What the hell is wrong with me? He's my boss, I need to be professional.

"I'm so glad to have you apart of my team for the time being." He said as if he didn't just try to seduce me and stepped back.

What the hell was that? He really likes messing with me!

I sighed deeply and told myself, I can get through this. I really need this promotion, and I need to make Heather and my parents proud!

"Cora, I feel like we've started on a bad start. I want things to be comfortable between us. I apologize if you feel like I have made things difficult for you." He said sounding serious.

"Yes things have been hard. I'm naturally very awkward and lack social skills." I admitted.

"Yes I can see that, we need to work on that. From what I've learned from Heather, you are a very diligent worker, but lack confidence." He seemed to be looking me up and down and I suddenly got nervous.

"Yes she's right, I've always been that way." Heather is one of the few people that understands my social quirks. She would often push me to be more social, but backed off if she saw I was uncomfortable." I managed to say ignoring his probing eyes.

"I hope we can make positive changes for you, while you're with us." He said with a sincere smile.

"I will do my best."

"Well, now that you'll be working with me, I want you to learn everything about our side of the business."

I was surprised he actually wanted to talk business, and not tease me. I always saw him as this goofy guy that liked to joke around, but today I could see how serious he could be. He definitely fit the role of Co-CEO.

"I have a pile of paperwork, I'd like you to read and sort. Taehyung will assist you however, he won't be much help. I keep finding him wandering around or talking to someone, instead of working." He said softly like he was speaking about his own child.

I could tell he had a lot of affection for his dongsaeng, as he talked about him. I thought if it was anyone else, he would have fired them already.

"Go find Taehyung, and start on these papers." He picked up the largest pile of paperwork I had ever seen, and placed them in my arms. I almost fell over from the weight, it must be almost 20 lbs!

"Oh and you won't be leaving, until this is all finished." He said dismissively, in a serious tone.

I glared back at him in disbelief , "You're joking, right?"

"Oh did Heather only let you do minimal work? I'm not Heather, and we are very backed up! So you need to get started now." He said sternly.

I felt the need to chuck the papers at him, but stopped myself and calmly walked back to my new cubicle in frustration.

"Noona! Over here! You'll be sitting next to me!" Taehyung excitedly pointed to the empty cubicle next to his.

I smiled at him and set the papers down. Taehyung helped me set up my desk, and then started to show me around. He introduced me to our other colleagues. I greeted all of them, but then told Taehyung I needed to hurry back as I had a lot of work to do.

"Oh that's right, I almost forgot!" He sounded like he'd rather chat, than work.

"I just want to introduce you to one more person." He took me to the beautiful, yet stuck up dark haired lady that was in Jin's office earlier. "Noona, this is Sue Walters, she's new here too, but she started before us."

She glanced at me and plastered a fake smile on her face, "Oh yes, it's so great to finally meet you!"

I already met her, why is she acting like this is the first time we have met...

"It's nice to meet you too." I tried to be polite, while shaking her outstretched hands. She barely touched my hand and weakly shook it.

What's her deal? She obviously doesn't like me, but I haven't even done anything to her.

"She's great! She's so nice and helpful, but ... I think she has a crush on Jin." Taehyung said to me, while we walked back to our cubicles.

"Really?" I suddenly felt a sense of jealousy creep up in me.

"Yes, she's always going to Jin hyung's office to ask him questions, when she is supposed to ask her supervisor. I notice she will check her appearance, before she goes to his office." Taehyung whispered.

I was surprised how observant Taehyung had been. This Sue girl seemed to be up to something.

Taehyung somewhat trained me, then disappeared while I worked alone on the huge pile of papers. It was hard to get mad at him, when he's so cute though. I watched him laugh, and joke around with everyone, he really lightened the mood. I was glad that we could still be friends. Things hadn't been awkward at all, unlike how I felt when I was around Jin.
