"Why?!"

The pouring rain dropped down heavily as black umbrellas was open and sad faces was seen. I, myself, is included in the sad crowd.

"Out of all people in the world! Why my son?!" Hiroto-san cried out hugging it's son's coffin as the man, which was his husband, patted her back with also a sad look on his face.

Everyone attended the funeral. My face saddened at the scene in front of me. I even cried for him. He was actually a nice friend. Why would the world let this happen? I started to cry a little bit holding my umbrella tightly.

Nagisa pats my back and I'm sure some of our classmates were also crying. Especially Isogai, he was sobbing since the coffin was brought out.

It was time for burial, the sad atmosphere became heavier and the sobs became louder. All I can do was stare at the sad scene. I wish I.. I wish I was there to protect him. But it's too late. I know Maehara would say that I shouldn't blame myself but... I don't think I can do that.

After the burial everyone offered condolence for the poor couple who has just lost their one and lovable son. If I was them, of course I'd be a crying mess. We all went to a cafe isogai works at and paid the coffee for us.

We all had a small talk about maehara and I can see some of them still cries for his loss. It makes me sad to see this. Who in the world would do that to such an innocent student? He didn't do anything wrong.

"Where ever he is. I know he's safer now." I said with a sad smile gripping on my coffee. Everyone nodded sad faces not leaving.

I still felt sad. But at least karma was there to comfort me. He did prepare a meal for me to make me feel better, not like him I know. But I understand him beinh concern for me.

I didn't even touch his homemade food. I just felt bad at myself. Karma walked over to me after taking his apron off and sat beside me.

"Are you really not going to eat?" He asked me as I shook my head "You're not loving the food I worked for? That's so harsh~" he attempted to make me smile, which did work.

I slapped his shoulder and giggled "Of course not. I'm just not in the mood." he nodded and puts the food inside a container and puts it in the fridge so it'll last longer. He still sat beside me with a concerned look.

"Are really not going to move?" I nodded a bit. I just needed time for what happened. I'm also solving this case, I know maehara wouldn't be that bad to have someone kill him, right? I turned to face karma

"Tell me, what happened to Maehara? You saw him right?" I asked him which made him froze "You sure you wanna know? You're still sad about what happened to him, but you wanna know, really?" He turned to face me with a serious look

"So you have knowledge on what happened to him?! Why didn't you tell the police?!" I shouted slamming my hands on the table.

His eyes shined for a moment "Is it really worth it telling the police?"
