"Nanu... Nanu..where are you Nanu??"

I was looking for my gorgeous Nanu. It's almost 10am in the morning and she doesn't seem to be awake. Never did it happen that Nanu slept for so long. I was worried.

"I'm here Ruhi...in the room"

A melodious and shaking voice replied. It was Nanu. I hurried to her room to make sure she's okay.

Myself 'Ruhi Malik'

I'm 18 years old. The only grand daughter of Abdul Malik and Zoya Malik. And the only daughter of Saad Malik.

I'm the only child in this Malik mansion neither had siblings nor any cousins bcoz like me my dad is the only son of this house.Ugh!! Enough of this only word. Sometimes this only lonely thing piss me off!! So God blessed me with the world best grandma as well as my best friend,my dear Nanu "Zoya Malik".

Our family hold a huge empire in Real estate business and holds the title of "richest family" since generations.

"Ohh.. Nanu!!  Why are you still in the bed? You alright??"

I was worried she seems to be ill, her face was all pale and dull seems like she didn't slept,the whole night.

"I'm fine meri jaan" she replied with a smile.

Her fake smile faded when she saw my eyes filled with tears. I couldn't bear to see my Nanu getting ill. I don't want her to get sick I want her to be healthy and stay beside me forever.

"Ruhi baccha... I'm fine. Look I can stand. I can walk and I can pose. Ummah!!"   she said pouting.

She's so cute. Isn't she ❤.

"Come on, let's go and have something for breakfast." she dragged me out of the room to the hallway.

Everything seems to be a bit unusual. Everyone were quite..seems like I'm attending a mourning.

"Astaghfirullah" (I seek forgiveness in God)

"what happened?" Nanu asked.

"Nothing nothing,lets go.. "

what am I thinking? God bless everyone around me a healthy life AMEEN!!

While going downstairs I checked for the date and yeah the date is "21st April " as expected.

I don't know why,  but this day holds a title of Black Day in our family history. Now I get it why Nanu had fever surely she cried at night. She always behaves a bit upset on this particular day. I wish I could know what was so wrong about this date.

We reached the dining hall breakfast was already prepared but knowing Nanu is sick I decided to skip the heavy oily food and arranged fruit salads and juices for both of us.

"How was your after brithday party? Do you girls enjoyed? "

It was my birthday two days ago.. And usually our family doesn't celebrate birthdays but my friends they always plan a after birthday party for me.

"Yes Nanu it was fantastic and the gifts,the arrangements everything were perfect.ohh and the cake was delicious ahhhaaa"  both of us laughed.

"Always keep this smile on your face my darling grand daughter."

"Surely Nanu until and unless you are near I'll always smile and be happy. So stay with me forever. I love you!! "

"love you too " she said giving me a kiss.

I took Nanu back to her room after we finished eating. I gave her medicine and forced her to lay down and have some rest. I rested beside her leaning on her shoulder.

"Nanu you haven't gave me any gift. You do realize right I have turned 18 this year. So I want a special gift for this 18th birthday. " I said teasing.

"oh dear! I forgot I bought you a beautiful necklace.."

"wow Nanu it's beautiful. I loved it. But Nanu I want something else. As it's my 18th birthday, I want you to gift me something else...will you give it to me.. " I asked making a puppy face so she can't refuse.

"Ruhi is asking something and Nanu will not give..emm..that's not possible." she said patting me.

"You don't have other choice either" I said.

"Ask me anything" she said smiling.

"Nanu...I know today's Day hold a greatest history. I want you tell me what happened to you and dad and grandpa and mom.. Why this day had such a bad impact on you all.. Please tell me..please" I pleaded.

"Ruhi I've never refused you but this I'm afraid I can't let you know this"

"Nanu please you just promised me to give anything that I'll ask.. Please Nanu please...please please please.. pretty please.." I was making sure she fall for my innocence so I could make her reveal but to my luck it was of no use.

She said she can't help it. I was wistful for the first time my beloved Nanu refused to do something I asked in my life ever.

"Come here I'll tell you a story instead, what kind of story you want to listen?" my Nanu said making up my low sound mood.

Ohh I forgot to add, my Nanu used to be a brilliant story writer. She wrote bundle of books back then but after that Black Day incident she abandoned all her skills and hobbies. Since then she never wrote anything. Sometimes to make me happy she tells a story. Good thing is that I can give her any topic and she can tell whole the story at that instant without even thinking twice.

"yeah Nanu I want to listen a magical story, something very intresting and mysterious one." I replied enthusiastically.

"Hmmm...so according to these topics I'll tell this one. Story's name is 'Falling for her'
