Chapter #9
.::Awkward::.
Here you were, watching your dream guy pick up the food wrappers off the floor. Not knowing what to think. After he was done picking up all the mess and washing his hands he walked over to you and joined you on your old dusty couch. You had no idea what to say so you just kept looking down. He on the other hand stared right at you. 'CAN HE STOP STARING?! MY GOD!' You thought. You were truly irritated at the fact that he was here. You kept looking down. All you guys did was sit there in silence.
Since you got easily annoyed by the silence you decided to just woman/man up and say something. "If you came here to watch me grieve than I suggest you leave." You said, not daring to look up at him.
...
He didn't respond. "Didnt you say no to my proposal. You're just making it harder for me the more you sit here." You had, and crossed your arms. You waited in silence until you finally heard him say something.
"Well if I'm correct I believe I never gave you an answer." He said, still looking at your face.
"Well you might as well say no. I've already come to terms with it." You kept looking at the wall, feeling him burn holes at the back of your head.
"Fine then, I decline your little pathetic offer." You started to tear up. To be honest it really hurt, even though you already knew what was going to happen. Hearing him say it directly blindsided you. He got up, and stood right in front of you. "Cause I have an offer for you." You looked up at him, your red puffy eyes looked baffled.
"Wh-wha.."
"Rather than sweeping everything from our past under the rug, I rather us remember everything and build off the past." You had finally looked up and he had been graced by the baffled look on your face. "As the morons say, your past doesn't define you. And to be quite honest I see nothing wrong to go back to the way it was, because no matter how hard we try we'll never be able to erase the past. We can only work to fix our mistakes." You continued to look at each other. You didn't know how to respond, so instead, you jumped up and hugged him tightly. Smothering your head in his chest. After about 3 minutes you pulled back and looked at him.
"But um... c-can we forget what I s-said at the p-park?" You said, looking away again blushing like a dweeb.
"How could I possibly forget something so very important?" He teased you, and smirked.
"OKAY THATS NOT NECESSARY!" You pulled out of his grip and walked the other way with your hands up. "NO THANK YOU SIR! NO SIREE!" You shouted while walking into the other room. Blushing like a mad man.
After that little moment you two ended up watching the three stooges, talking about the idiots at the school, and remembering how much you had both missed these moments. After about a hour or two of just being an idiot and Dio telling you how much of an idiot you were Dio had left and you were so excited you could barely sleep.
--
The next morning Y/N had been up before 6, well she had been up the whole night. She just couldn't stop thinking about Dio, no matter how hard she tried. And she remembered how he knows about her true feelings which made her blush so hard she felt sick. One thought lead to another and another and another and then she eventually started thinking of scenarios with the blonde.
One of them reenacting Romeo and Juliet, one of them being them reenacting Spy's with Melissa Mcarthy, one being them as gender bend couple, one being him as a crazy vampire, and others that weren't worth mentioning. Your imagination just kept going and going and eventually you lead to thoughts that could give you nose bleeds. She pushed herself out of her bed, threw on her uniform and ran out her house. She couldn't wait!
(Okay I'm planning on skipping a few years ahead to actually get the story going, believe it or not these 9 chapters were just the beginning. I'm ready to get into the good stuff now so be prepared.)
