Chapter Five
[ You ]
"You seem nervous? Is everything alright?" Dipper asks you, a worried expression on his face. You were currently at the kitchen of the Mystery Shack with Dipper, both of you were sitting on the counter while dangling your feet. You wore the dress that Mabel borrowed you, along with a pair of white heels. You still had on your earring, even if it looked weird (without the left one of course).
You gave Dipper a forced smile. "It's nothing serious. I'm just overreacting, " It was serious, to you that is. Bill couldn't teach you how to dance last night and your really worried about it.
"Come on (y/n)," he gives you a warm smile. "You can tell me,"
'Gosh darn it he's too hot to resist!' you thought as you stared at Dipper's eyes. They were so full of sincerity that you couldn't resist the urge to not tell him.
"Fine, but promise not to tell anyone," you told him, pouting while your face was bright red. He chuckles lightly at what you said. "I promise," he says to you mockingly.
You look around to see if anyone was watching and when you didn't see anyone, you spilled the beans to him. "Okay, I can't dance," you say to him, blushing furiously. He raises an eyebrow at you. "You can't dance?" he says, as if he can't believe what you were stressing about. You pout at him and playfully punched his arm. "Yeah! And I don't want to embarass myself at the party or ball or whatever term or synonym you can call a gathering of people!"
Dipper snickers at you. "I don't see why you're stressing over something like that (y/n). I mean if you don't know how to dance then don't dance. Everyone will understand if you don't want to,"
You let out a long sigh. 'Maybe he's right. Maybe I should just sit there and eat food, besides, noone's going to ask me to dance with them anyways,' you thought as you let out another sigh.
Dipper seemed to notice you sighing, so he took you by the arm and jumped off of counter. You raise an eyebrow at him. "What are you doing?"
He flashes you a smile. "Come on, we're gonna teach you how to dance," he says as he pulls you off the counter. "O-okay," you say as he placed a hand on your waist and pulled you close.
Your face turned red as he did so. You looked away from him, pouting slightly. "H-how exactly are you going to teach me anyways?" You asked as Dipper intertwines his empty hand with yours and raises it in the air.
"Easy. By dancing," he says to you. You roll your eyes and snort at him but obliged.
"I'll lead and you just need to follow me, okay?" he tells you, smiling brightly. You nodded your head. "Okay but if I step on your feet-" "You aren't going to step on my feet (y/n)," Dipper says to you reassuringly. "Have a little faith in yourself,"
You let out a little smile at what Dipper said. For some odd reason, you're now filled with determination (You see what I did there c;). Dipper then starts to slow dance, you following him happily and carefully.
~
After you're dancing lesson with Dipper, you and him go to Mabel and her friends. You recognized some of them but you didn't really know their names.
"OH MY GOSH GUYS! LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO (Y/N)!" Mabel exclaims immediately when she sees you. She runs over to you and separates you from Dipper. She then brings you to her friends with a bright smile. "Candy, Grenda, meet (y/n)," she says as she gestures to you. You give Mabel's two friends a lame wave and a small smile. "Hi, I'm (y/n)," you said to them your cheeks slightly red. The two of them return your wave with warm smiles.
"Hi I'm Candy!" the girl with long dark hair and glasses says to you. "And this is Grenda," she then gestures to the brown haired girl beside her. "Hey (y/n)!" the brown haired girl says to you with a surprisingly deep voice.
"Hey guys, we're leaving!" Dipper suddenly shouts out while honking the horn of a red car (You didn't really know if it was his so yeah). "Come on ladies," Mabel suddenly says as she turns to them with a huge grin on her face. "We've got a party to go to,"
~
At the party, Grenda spotted a hot guy near the fountain and immediately went over there to flirt with him. Candy and Mabel followed her, quietly conversing. "So-" Dipper started but was cut off by a very loud voice. "Hey Dipper!"
Both of you turned around to see a very beautiful red head walking towards the two of you. She looked stunning in her sea green gown and you think Dipper thought so as well. His eyes were wide and a faint blush colored his cheeks as the redhead stands in front of you and him, a mischievous grin plastered on her face.
"W-W-W-Wendy! I-I didn't think I'd see you here," he says to the redhead while smoothing back his hair. You narrowed your eyes at Dipper. 'What a very copious amount of W's' you thought as you stared at Dipper and the redhead.
The redhead's eyes stare back at you, glinting with amusement. "Dipper, you didn't tell me you were seeing someone!" The two of you instantly blush. "W-we're not dating!" Dipper blurts out, faster than anything. You smile sadly at him. 'He said it so quickly, it's almost as if he doesn't even like me nor the fact of thinking about the two of us dating,' you thought. You liked Dipper a lot and your heart ached so badly when he said those words.
Wendy, as Dipper called her, lets out a disappointed sigh then flashes the two of you a smile. "I was just kidding, man. No need to overreact," she tells Dipper while playfully elbowing him.
Dipper smiles at Wendy, it was warm and bright. The two converse and walk away from you, not even realizing they left you behind. You tried to call out to them, but Dipper's laugh makes you falter. He looked genuinely happy when he was with her, almost as if-
Your heart felt heavy as you finally realized the truth. Dipper liked Wendy. There was no doubt about that. And that very fact made you turn your back from the party and run out without a second thought as the tears slowly dripped from your eyes,

I was with Wendy and her friends, happily chatting and laughing with them until Mabel came over to me with a worried expression. She lightly taps my shoulder and I turn to look at her. "What is it Mabel?" I asked her with a raised eyebrow.
Mabel gives a concerned look. "Dipper, have you seen (y/n) at all? We can't find her anywhere. Grenda and Candy said that they last saw her with you so I thought maybe you had a clue as to where she is,"
"I-I don't know where she is," I told her truthfully. "Did you ask any of the other guests if they saw her?" I asked Mabel.
Mabel nods her head vigorously. "Yeah, everyone here said that they haven't seen a pretty (h/c) haired girl in blue with one earring or that they were too busy to notice," she then looks down at the floor as tears threatened to fall from her eyes. "I-I already tried calling her cell too. She didn't pick up,"
I ran a hand down my hair worriedly as I faced Mabel. "Come on, let's go get the others. We're going to search for (y/n) here at the mansion. If we can't find her here, we're going to expand our search outside," I told Mabel but Mabel didn't move from her spot. Instead, she gripped tightly onto her dress, tears finally streaming down her face. I instinctively pulled her in for a hug. "We're going to find her, okay? And when we do she's going to be okay and safe," I told her as I patted her head. Honestly, my own tears also wanted to decorate my face but I resisted to cry.
Mabel then pulls away and wipes away her tears. She gives me a determined nod and grins at me. "Yeah, we'll find her," she says to me.
"Hey, is everything alright?" Wendy suddenly asks me. I turn to her, ushering Mabel to go on and start the search with Candy and Grenda. "(y/n)'s missing. Me, Mabel, Candy and Grenda are going to search for her," I told Wendy. Wendy's eyes widen in shock at what I said. "Isn't she the girl from earlier?"
I nod at her question. "Yeah,"
Wendy glances back at her friends, who were laughing and talking. "Hey guys!" she yells at them which grabs their attention immediately. "I'm going to help Dipper and Mabel search for their lost friend!" Wendy's friends all give their signs of approval in very distinct ways.
As soon as Wendy's friend said yes, Wendy faces me with a determined smile. "Come on Dipper, we got a friend of yours to find,"
I smiled back at her but soon frowned. I liked Wendy a lot, but I know I don't have a chance with her. I look up to see the glass roof. The stars were lovely tonight and the moon still beamed down upon me despite the dark clouds and heavy rain.
'I just hope she's safe,'

[ Bill ]
"Just tell me how the hell it works," I said as I pressed my foot onto the demon lying on the ground before me. The demon laughs at me as it coughs out blood. "What're you talking about Cipher?"
I brought my hand onto his collar and raised him into the air. "You know what I'm talking about Zarius," I said to him angrily as I raised the onarios stone for him to see.
He gives me a smile, an annoying one. "Now how'd you get your hands on one of those? Thought those were all destroyed," I grit my teeth. "Just answer the damn question,"
He raises his hands in the air. "Calm down Cipher, we have all day to talk about this. Why don't we just sit back and enjoy this universe first. You know, smell the flowers, watch the grass grow-" I cut him off as my fist found its way onto his cheek.
"If you don't explain how this stone works in the next ten minutes, I'm erasing you from this universe. Let's see if you have time then to sit back and enjoy the damn flowers,"
Zarius lets out a scared whimper. "Okay, okay! Onarios stones only work for people when the original owner of it allows that person to use it!"
I raise a brow at what he said. "What if the owner of this stone is dead?" I asked him. He shrugs at me. "If the original owner is dead, then the next chosen owner should suffice," he states.
"(y/n)..." I mumble out as I recalled the last memory I had with her.
"Can you please let go of me now?" Zarius suddenly asks, pulling me out of my thoughts. I snorted but let him go. He stands up and dusts himself off.
"Why do you like your human form so much, Zarius? That form makes you feel all emotions and feelings mortals feel," I ask him, as I crossed my arms.
He sticks his tongue out. "Why don't you ask yourself that Cipher, you're in human form just like me,"
I looked down at my body, which was now tall and slender. I wore a yellow suit with coattails, a pair of black trousers and a shiny pair of black shoes. My blonde hair was slicked back with gel or whatever that sticky thing was.
I scowled at him. "You're in that form all the time Zarius. I just happen to have something happeni-" I was cut off when Zarius places his arm around my shoulder. "Ah Cipher, for a thousand years of mourning whatever that girl's name was, you finally decided to start a new and fall for another," he says to me, a lazy grin on his face.
I pushed him off me, annoyed as hell. "Shut your mouth Zarius, before I shut it close for you," I warned him. He continues to grin at me, obviously amused. "Fine, but if you ever have kids with this new girl, can you please make me the godfather?" To answer his question, I summoned lightning and made it hit him.
He stands up, scratching his burnt hair. "Okay Cipher, calm down. If you're PMSing right now I totally-" I summoned another one, this time with rain clouds.
"I'm taking my leave Zarius, I hope in our next meeting you finally learn how to shut your mouth," I said with finality then teleported away, not daring to hear him answer.

Gosh I'm so tired. I'm sorry I wrote this one day late, it was my brother's graduation yesterday and I had to attend. Anyways! Hope you enjoyed the chapter! This was so difficult to write since I didn't really know what I wanted to do with this chapter xD
Before you leave, I need to ask you several questions. Was this chapter going too fast? What do you think of Zarius? Do you like cheese?
I hope you all answer my questions xD It's just a discussion starter.
Well, goodbye for now I guess. Have a squirrel eating Nutella.
