3rd POV

As Klaus and Elijah entered the compound looking for the two girls the see a fight and the girl wins, "Damn, girl! Not bad!" Marcel exlaims. Klaus walks behind Felicia and snaps her neck. The whole room goes silent.

Klaus looks to around then lands on Marcel. "Good evening! I'd like a word."

Seemingly angered Marcel asks, "What do you think you're doing?"

"It appears that we've interrupted a collection of filthy amateurs! We've come here for the girls. Give them to us or...we kill everyone here. Starting with you." Elijah says not having time for this. In truth, he is very worried about his mate and can't stand not knowing what's happening to her.

"You two got a lot of nerve, coming into my home and making demands."

Not helping the situation Klaus says, "Your home, is it?"

"The girls! I will not ask again." Elijah says patients running thin.

"I assume you're talking about Hayley and Aphrena? Yea high, dark haired, bitchy attitudes? Who is Hayley, anyway?" Marcel asks.

"She's an old friend. You know how sentimental I am about old friends." Klaus says trying not to reveal his who his mate is and why she's here.

"Well, I ain't got them. And before you start whining, I did pay them a little visit earlier tonight. I was feeling nostalgic, so I took a trip out to the plantation where I used to be a slave. And, imagine my surprise when I realized that the Original family of vampires had taken up residence. Your girl, Hayley, answered the door, we exchanged hellos, that was it. I didn't see Aphrena though, but I could smell her scent. You don't believe me? Look around. Hell, I'll even help you find them. But the question that I'd ask is: if Aphrena and Hayley aren't here, then where are they?

"Shut up." Aphrena wakes up in the trunk of an SUV with her wrists bound. She sees Hayley next to her stiring awake and she tries to kick out the back window to help them escape. Tyler stops the car and gets out to check the trunk.

"What the hell?" Hayley mumbles opening her eyes to a freaking out Aphrena. When tyler opens it, he tries to grab them, but they fight back by kicking at him.

"Seriously?!"

Aphrena looked down to see Tyler?

"Tyler?"

Hayley got up from her place and eyes widened as she saw our kidnapper.

"What the hel-" but the doppelgänger was shut up when her neck snapped and thrown over the hybrids shoulder.

Elijah and Klaus are sitting in the backyard.

"Not the most attractive community, are they?" Elijah remarks.

"You do realize they can hear you?" Klaus asks amused with his brothers comment.

"You do realize I don't care?" Elijah retorts. Marcel then appears, followed by some vampires, and the witch, Sabine.

"You know, Elijah, I liked you better in that box." He turns to Klaus. "But Klaus, my sire, you I owe the world, and I always show respect to my elders. If your special lady friends are missing, you could benefit from the help of a witch. And, since I control all the witches in this town, I'll grant you one little locator spell. Sabine's the best guide in the Quarter. Need to find someone? I guarantee, she's your girl."

Marcel then turns to leave them to their business but is stopped by Klaus' question, "Where are you going?"

"I hate to cut this short, but the sun's coming up soon. My nightwalkers need to get inside, and I have got a city to run. I leave you to track down your lost sheep."

Elijah turns his attention to Sabine and asks, "Can you find them?"

"I can try." She replies.

When Aphrena awoke all she could see was some ecampments in the bayou. The young vamp girl was thrown off his shoulder on the stoop of a little shack and Hayley was placed down immediately taking the older twins hand in hers. "What is this place?" Hayley asked looking around.

"The armpit of Louisiana." Tyler told her as he pulled out a knife from his pocket.

"Hey! What are you doing with that?!" the beautiful doppelgänger asked. He hurts these children she will make sure that he begs for death. Hayley moved closer to her to get slightly away from the crazy ass hybrid.

Tyley shrugged. "depends on her." He said nonchalantly and cuts the zip-ties off their ankles.

"Hey, you attacked us, remember? You ambushed us in our own backyard." Hayley said and glared at the hybrid.

Tyley rolled his eyes. "It's not your backyard, it's Klaus'. you're shacked up in that mansion with that psycho."

Hayley growled while glaring at him. "Nik is not a psycho, you are. You kidnapped us! And for your info, you don't know anything about us anymore!" She said loudly standing up making Aphrena follow after her.

"Well, I know that you're pregnant with both your children." He said eyeing the vampire.

The fuck is this idiot being serious right now. What is he smoking? The vamp thought.

"Hybrid babies. Klaus and Elijah being the father."

Ok he's lost it!

"I know all about it. I've been roaming around the bayou, asking questions." He then stood in front of the two girls. "Let me tell you what I learned." He pulled down the mark that are shown on the sisters shoulders that are like half and half to make a full moon when they are standing together.

"This crescent birthmark means you two both come from a big-shot family. Some kind of royalty to werewolves of this region. and right here," He gestured around them. "This is all that's left of them."

They looked around and saw shacks and tents made of blankets. The girls noticed a blonde woman standing nearby, watching them.

"Hey!" The female vamp yelled out. The woman was startled and immediately ran away.

"Please help us!" The pregnant werewolf yelled but it was useless.

Tyler sighed. "They can't help you. They're in the woods hiding, because they were persecuted for decades by vampires." Right then another wolf came and walked over to the twins and hybrid.

"Are these the girls?" He asked as he points to the girls.

Tyler sighed. "Yeah, Dwayne. Get them inside." He ordered then walked away.

As he grabbed the girls harshly Hayley yelled out, "Tyler? Tyler!"

Sabine waves her hands over a map, where a puddle of Klaus' blood traces from their current location, to where Aphrena and Hayley are in the bayou.

"They're in the back country. Way up, past Houma, deep in the bayou." Sabine explains.

"I don't suppose you could be more precise?" Elijah asks.

"What's the matter, Elijah? You're worried a bit of splashing about in the bog might ruin your expensive shoes?" Klaus teases.

"As a matter of fact, after my recent confinement, I could use a decent stroll through the countryside." Elijah retorts.

"There are stories of exiled werewolves, encampments. If they went out that far, chances are they went to find them." Sabine tells the brothers.

"Clearly, Hayley hopes to make the acquaintance of more like herself. I suppose our company wasn't good enough for her. But Aphrena, wouldn't just go without telling us. writing a letter, text or call."

Elijah then looks at Sabine worriedly.

Klaus and Elijah went out to the bayou to find Hayley and Aphrena worried about the girls their in love with's saftey.

"We should head south towards the water." Elijah suggested and quickly walked into the woods.

Klaus followed and stared at his brother amused. "You seem quite determined to find Aphrena. or is it Hayley? You know once Aphrena finds out she won't like all the attention your giving Hayley. But then again it's Aphrena and she is just the picture of innocence."

Elijah looked around the woods, hoping to find his love and the pregnant girl. "If im moving too fast for you, Niklaus, you're welcome to wait in the car. Do be certain to leave the windows down." He said.

"Ah. So i've touched a nerve? I see you still love her. Perhaps, Hayley as well. Maybe thats why you've been barking orders since your return, hoping to impress the girls by assumming the role of family patriarch." Although klaus wouldn't admit it out loud he loved his mate and making jokes out of it to aggravate his brother was the only way to stop the pain of possibly having his mate be attracted to his brother.

Elijah stopped walking and turned to klaus, narrowing his eyes at him. "I have no such feeling towards Hayley she is just carrying you child. And as for aphrena she is my mate I will always love her and only her. Now I promised them I would protect them and Hayley's babies." He said seriousness lacing his voice.

The brothers glared at eachother until Klaus caught a wiff of a certain hybrid's scent and looked around.

"Have you found their scent?" Elijah asked.

Klaus' face hardened. "No, but I found some else's. This vehicle reeks of someone I thought I was rid of...Tyler Lockwood.

"And why would your little hybrid-sidekick from Mystic Falls have any interest in the girls?"

"He wants revenge because I went after his girl." Although after finding Hayley he had no desire of Caroline what's done was done.

"Why do I suspect this is the least of your offenses?" Elijah asks knowingly.

"Back when I had the means to sire hybrids, he was my first, Although, I didn't give him much choice in the matter." Klaus replies then pulls a blanket out of the abandoned car and sniffs at it. He was loyal in the beginning, but he grew insubordinate, turned my other hybrids against me. I couldn't have that, so I massacred the lot of them. Tyler ran like a coward before I could finish him off."

"Anything else that you would like to share?"

"Well, there was this business with his mum." Klaus says cockily.

"You killed his mother. Wonderful." Elijah says incredulously.

"He needed to be taught a lesson!" Klaus says angry.

"And what lesson will you be taught, Niklaus, if he retaliates by harming Hayley and what of Aphrena?"

Done with this conversation Klaus says, "Enough. I'll kill Tyler Lockwood myself." Klaus then vamp-runs away to find Tyler and strangle him for hurting his love and his best friend.

The twins are alone in the shack, ziptied to a fire stove, when Tyler walks in and joins them.

"Ty, there's been a wolf watching us lately. Protecting us, like it instinctively knows that we're part of it's pack. You're a hybrid, you can turn into a wolf whenever you want. Was it you?" The female hybid asks.

Tyler looked confused and angry when he said, "Don't call me that. And no, but you're right, only hybrids can control when they change. And I'm the only one left, besides Klaus. Which is why we're here."

Bitchy...

"Whatever you think you're doing, you know that whole Original family has made some sort of pact, or something, to keep Aphrena, me and the babies safe. So, if you hurt us, they'll kill you."

Tyley narrowed his eyes at her. "What makes you think i'm afriad to die?"

Dwayne walked into the shack joining them and looked to Tyler. "You ready for this?" Tyley asked.

Dwayne nodded. "Let's do it."

Tyler digs in a bag and draws out a large syringe as Hayley's eyes widen and looks to her older twin in fear.

"Tyler what are you doing?" The oler girl snarled. Dwayne walked over to Hayley and held her down as Tyler crouched down in front of Hayley.

"Tyler, please, NO, Tyler!" Hayley yells panicked.

"Klaus destroyed everything good in my life! So, I'm gonna take away the things he wants most!" Tyler says angrily. the pretty female vamp tries to reach out for her hand but cannot reach.

"NO, PLEASE, TYLER, PLEASE!" the pregnant wolf begs.

Tyler jams the syringe into Hayley's stomach and draws out a measure of her blood. Hayley screams in pain while Aphrena silently cries. Once he removes the syringe from her body, he jams it into Dwayne's neck, injects the blood into him, and snaps his neck as Hayley and Aphrena watch in horror.

What the bloody hell! He will not get away with this...

Aphrena glares at the hybrid not happy with his intentions. "Don't get all judgy! Dwayne knew what he was getting into. He volunteered!" Tyler told us.

"For you to kill him?" Aphrena asked in disbelief.

"Dwayne is a werewolf who died with her blood in his system. The same blood she shares with her hybrid babies," Tyler explained.

Their eyes widen in shock. "Your trying to turn him into a hybrid. That's impossible." Hayley mumbled.

"I've been running with wolf packs all over the country. one of them was tight with a witch. She had nightmare visions about both of your babies and how Klaus could use your childs blood to make an army of hybrid slaves."

"Smart one, last time I checked vampires can't have children and I haven't had sex in a while." Aphrena spoke while rolling her eyes.

"Tell that to the witch. Because one of Hayley's children isn't hers its yours and soon enough it will be placed into you again." He informs but of course they don't know if that's true, how could it?

"Yeah whatever. Anyway i'm sick of witches having god damn premintions about these babies! God their just babies!" The stunning vamp doppleganger yelled. Can't they just catch a break with witches?

Tyler shrugged. "Maybe. Maybe not. That's where Dwayne comes in. You see, he was happy to be the test case. If you haven't noticed, these people dont have much to live for. They'd all welcome the chance to become the superior species. Trouble is, all hybrids are sired to Klaus. they follow his every move." He said, grabbing a knife from his bag and sets it on the table as the twins glanced at it. "No way I let that happen."

The older twin narrowed her eyes at the hybrid. "How can you be so sure Nik knows what the baby's blood will do?" Hayley asks.

"What do you think? Klaus Mikaelson, killer of men, women and puppies, all of a sudden wants to be a daddy? Or, he's got an ulterior motive. Hybrids can walk in the sun, their bite is lethal to vampires. They'll take over New Orleans by the end of the week. And you know what's going to stop Klaus then? Nothing." Tyler spits out.

Dwayne awakens with a gasp and starts freaking out. Tyley looks at Aphrena, but talks to Dwayne, "You're gonna have to feed on her."

Tyler picks up the knife and walks toward the hybrid to cut her neck.

"What? You sick bastard! No! Ahhhhh!" Aphrena exlaims.

"I want to know if it's true. Do it." Dwayne walks over to Aphrena and feeds on her, despite her shouts to stop. After a moment, Dwayne stops feeding, and falls to the floor in pain. Tyler pushes him outside and leaves to tend to him. The girls notices the knife on the ground and they strain to reach for it. When they can't reach it, Aphrena grabs a broken chair leg from the floor. While Outside, Dwayne convulses.

"Tyler shouts, "Look at me! Look at me!" Dwayne starts to calm down, and eventually lies still. "You're okay!" Dwaynes hybrid eyes emerge, and he smiles.

Dwayne responds, "I'm better than okay." That's it, it's true the blood of the sisters with the babies can create Hybrid's you just need both kids.

"It worked Hayley, but maybe we can convince him to let us go just work with me. Ok?" She nods at her older sister.

Then Tyler returns to the shack after Dwayne's transformation.

"It worked, didn't it? He's a hybrid." The younger sister asked.

"If Klaus gets ahold of you both, if he gets those kids--he wins."

"Then help us hide the babies from him!" Aphrena buts in. Tyler walks over and picks the knife up off the floor.

"Help us run!" Hayley tries to convince like her sister.

"He'll find you both, he'll take your kids away, and he'll make more hybrid monsters. Slaves who do everything he says." Tyley says not letting up.

A terrified Hayley tries to talk him out of it, "Tyler, whatever you're thinking of doing, there has to be another way. You're not like this!" When Tyler shakes his head and continues to walk towards them, Aphrena stabs him in the gut with the broken chair leg. Tyler screams in pain and pulls the stake out.

"That was stupid!" He yells at them. He starts to walk toward Aphrena again when Dwayne walks in.

"Get away from them!"

"What do you care?" Tyler asks not liking Dwayne getting in his way.

"I said get away!"

"You got what you wanted, now get lost!" Tyler says angrily.

Aphrena realizes what's going on and tries to use it to their advantage, "Dwayne, he's gonna kill us! And he's gonna kill you, too, he said that hybrids are too dangerous to live! You NEED to stop him!"

"SHUT UP!" Tyler yells at the female hybrid. Dwayne comes behind Tyler and tosses him across the room. He lands on the floor, and when he gets up, Dwayne runs to tackle him. Hayley sees that Tyler dropped the knife within reach, and uses it to cut herself and her sister free. Tyler eventually overpowers Dwayne and rips his heart out. When he turns back toward the twins, he sees that they escaped, and becomes furious.

Aphrena vamps through the woods, Tyler's knife still in Hayley's hand, and stops to hide behind a tree. The vervain still in her which has weakened her she makes sure tyler isn't around so she can help Hayley breathe better.

As they catch their breath, Aphrena hears someone approaching. She braces herself, and takes the knife, she turns to attack, but it's just Elijah. He holds her hand steady to protect himself.

"Forgive me! I thought you were in danger, it appears I was mistaken." He speaks to his beautiful mate.

"Come out." Aphrena says as she turns to their tree. Hayley sighs in relief and dives into Aphrena's arms for protecting her and her children. Happy she kept her promise, she could never be more thankful for her older sister. The two hug for a long moment before Hayley eventually pulls away.

Aphrena turns to Eljah who she smiles at, "You will not believe the crap day we're having." She then hugs elijah as well feeling very calmed in his embrace. "Thank you for finding us." She whispers so only Elijah could hear.

"No problem, sweetheart." He whispers back to which Aphrena blushes. They pull away and Elijah speaks up, "I'll take you two home." He turns to leave, but Hayley stops him.

"Elijah, there's something you need to know about the babies." Although she doesn't beileve it she needs to explain to Elijah.

Aphrena stand biting her nails while Hayley is sitting against a tree as she tells Elijah what she's learned. Elijah paces anxiously as he listens.

"I dont think Klaus knew." She looks at Elijah, and they share a look before Elijah looks away, troubled by Hayley's news. "The way that Dwayne was acting...it was more like he was sired to us." all three continue to think about the implications.

"I should take you home."

"I want Nik."

"If my brother's intentions are what Tyler beileves, mine will remain the same. So let's get home before Niklaus does."

"I can take care of myself. I've done it for a long time." Hayley says.

Hayley gets up and walks away just wanting-for some reason-to be in her mates arms. Of course the female vamp follows which makes her mate Elijah follow her as well.

Klaus is waiting at the shack when Elijah and Hayley to return. He shoves Dwayne's dead body in front of them.

"There you are! I see you've found our wandering strays. Perhaps you could shed some light on the situation. This," kicks the body over, "appears to be a hybrid."

"His name was Dwayne." Hayley says saddened and her older quickly hold her hand.

"Well, whoever it was, I didn't sire him. Any idea how that's possible?"

Hayley steps toward him, "you didn't know?" Elijah holds Hayley back and walks in front of her to protect her from Klaus.

"Oh, come on, then. What kind of horrible accusation have been put into your little heads?" He asks.

"Tyler Lockwood brought Aphrena and Hayley here to test a theory." Klaus nods at him to continue, "That the blood of her children and Aphrena's blood could be used to sire hybrids. He claims that you knew that. Futhermore, that you intended to use this knowledge to build an army." Elijah concludes.

Klaus hurt and angry says, "And, of course, you assume it's true. I mean, why else would I show interest in my own flesh and blood and a old friend? A heartbroken little crybaby points his finger at me, and my own brother falls in line, eager to believe it! How quickly you believe the worst, especially when it comes from her." He says refering to Rena.

"Nik." Hayley says softly, she doesn't want to beileve it and I know I don't.

"Oh, spare me your indignation. When have you ever demonstrated any kind of concern towards Aphrena, Hayley or her children, beyond your own selfish pursuits? And what was it you once said to me?" He then does a Klaus impersonation. "'Every king needs an heir!'" Elijah says and I scoff. He is being a little rude, how does he know for sure Klaus knew.

"My big brother, so, you doubt my intentions? Well, I can't say i'm surprised, standing next to noble Elijah, how can I be anything but the lesser brother? a liar, a manipulator, a bastard." Hayley looks down a tear in her eye.

"That's not true Nik..." She says.

But Klaus is blinded by his brothers betrayal to even hear her trying to reassure him. "That's all I am to you, isn't it? and rebekah. That's all I am to everyone." Klaus pauses saddened by what he is about to say. "No doubt my child will as well." Hayley shakes her head still not looking up. I nudge Elijah to apoligize.

"Brother, if-" Elijah says in a lighter tone.

"You've said all that needs to be said, brother." Klaus interrupts him. He steps back a few steps and holds his arms out in defeat. "I'll play the role i've been given."

"Nik, I don't believe it. Please stop acting like this. Please." Hayley begs.

"Nik you know this isn't true. Stop it." His old bestfriend says.

He turns around-after hearing our pleas-like he was gonna walk away, but instead, he turns back quickly and speeds over to Elijah before biting him savagely on the neck. Hayley screams and clings to me tightly, I gasp in shock eyes wide.

I detach her knowing right now Nik needs her. I walk over to Elijah looking him over. "You two enjoy ech other's company. You'll have much to bond over, once the hallucinations and dementia set in. Consider that bite to be my parting gift to you." Klaus says and he holds Hayley in his embrace then speds away with her leaving me with a bitten Elijah to take care of.

"Well, this is what you get for being so quick to judge." I told him. I felt bad for both parties, now-a-days you just dont know who to trust or what's going to happen next.

Elijah and Aphrena look around the abandoned shack. Aphrena shuffles through old photos.

"You don't have to help. I can dig through the werewolf antique show on my own. Besides," looks at his neck wound, "shouldn't you put some kind of ointment, or something, on that?" Aphrena asks.

"The bite won't kill me. Like Niklaus himself, it's more than a nuisance than anything." Elijah says which makes his mate smile finding that kind of funny.

"Good, 'cause I'm eventually going to need a ride home. And thanks, by the way, for staying out here. You didn't have to." Oh, but he did he get's to spend more time with his mates and protect her.

"I know. But, you said the people of this village are the only family you might have left. I can relate." Of course rena was curious as to whose pack she belonged to and she had slightly wondered if her and hayley could have been family or their families knew each other.

"You're thinking about Klaus." Aphrena wonders ot loud.

Elijah sighs, "Perhaps I was too willing to condemn him. In the thousand years that we have been together, my brother has committed numerous unspeakable acts. But, then again, so has Rebekah. So have I."

"So did I, the last time I was in chico." Elijah stares at her, confused. "We've all done bad things. It's just, most people die before the list gets embarrassing. But, don't for a second think you are truly terrible."

The two stare at each other intensely. After a long moment, the mates both look away awkwardly. On the inside the both miss each other terribly.

"It's like a freaking hot box in here, I'm gonna get some air." Aphrena leaves to walk out onto the porch. When she gets outside, she finds a Bible laying on the corner of the porch. She picks it up and begins to flip through it. After a few moments, Elijah joins her outside.

"Someone left this here." She tells her Noble mate.

"What is it?" He asks the beautiful doppleganger.

"A Bible, with a family history that goes back generations." The two pore over the the Bible's pages. There are many names and birthdates documented, the last of which is "Aleah Labonair 5 june 1991 and Andrea Labonair 6 June 1991."

"What are these names? Who is Aleah and Andrea?"

Aphrena looked at her mate shocked. "I think I am Aleah... That's the day that I was born. Who is Andrea? That could be my sister... My twin!" Aphrena yells out excited she must inform Hayley as soon as she can.

Tyler and Marcel sit at a table, while a couple of vampire guards stand around nearby.

"You wanna make a deal with me, you gotta offer me something. I already know about Hayley, the werewolf girl. And Aphrena, What else you got?"

"What if I told you that werewolf girl is carrying Klaus' child? And that doppleganger Aphrena her sister Hayley is also carrying Aphrena and Elijah's baby with a little help of witch magic." Marcel leans in, clearly interested but slightly confused.

"And, if those babies are born, it'll mean the end of the vampire species." Marcel nods at him.

Well I tried to add more of Aphrena's own lines so that their is a difference. Also Hayley isn't the same as MOST books thank god!

Did you like the different version Hayley is toward Klaus in this chapter?

But in some ways Aphrena will take over the protective side and Hayley may seem a little weaker because of the help but they are sisters what do you expect.

You know Aphrena is a mix of athena goddess of wisdom and war and aphrodite love BEAUTY (obvi nina is SEXY) and fertility.

Also that name came from my mom and cousin my mom is leah and my cousin (so cute) is Aleah. I love them so much.

I also like when Klaus teases Eli about Aphrena.
