10: Take Me Home

Draco:

I apperated to Blaise’s house when I knew that she wasn’t coming back. Ihad messed up big time and needed help to get out of it.

“Draco, what happened?” he asked when I knocked on the door.

He stepped out on the porch and didn’t let me in.

“Can’t we go in?”

“No. It could get loud. Pansy and Susan are sleeping,” he said to my confused look, “Vivian was here. You just missed her.”

“What was she doing here?” I asked, curious about why should would go there.

“She said she need to talk to Pansy, who was immensely excited about it, afterwards,” he looked me in the eyes at that point and realized that I had been crying, “What happened?”

“I told her.”

“You told her you loved her?” he was surprised, “Don’t you think it was too early?”

“No. It’s what I’m feeling, what I have felt for the past seven years, and I needed to tell her.”

“Well, my advice would be to give her time. If you guys are meant to be, then you will be,” he half smiled at me, “Why don’t we head down to the Hog’s Head for a drink.”

“I don’t know,” I said.

“Draco Malfoy, refusing to go drinking. You really are in love.”

I smiled, “I really have fallen down the rabbit hole.”

“You have, but you’ll make it back out. Eventually,” he smirked as we left.

There was barely anyone at the bar. We ordered our drinks as some drunks behind us started a fight.

“What do you think you’re doing? Putting your hands all over my girl like that?” a drunk with a hat sat.

“She’s my girl, you damn fool!” said one that was red-headed.

“Hey!” I yelled and made my way over, “How long have you two known the girl?”

“They just met me tonight,” she said as she picked up her purse.

“Then she isn’t any of yours. So, I reckon that you bid her food night,” I said as they did.

When I went back to Blaise, the girl followed me. I turned around and looked into her big brown eyes.

“Is there more I can help you with?” I asked, trying not to be rude.

“I’m Fiona,” she said as she grabbed my arm, “You should take me home.”

I pushed her off my arm, “I can’t.”

“And why not?” she seemed offended.

“Because I’m in love with another girl,” I was proud of myself. Normally, I would’ve jumped at the chance, but Vivian was all that was on my mind.

And speaking of angels, when I turned around, there she was. Vivian.
