Legolas POV

As I pace back and forth in my room, I think of Aerlinniel. I can't believe the things that I said to her. I can't believe I have hurt her. I feel my eyes water up again at the tough of it. But I can't cry, I have to find Aerlinniel.

I start to get everything ready so Myself, Elarinya, and a couple of guards can go search for her. I hope that she is safe and is still at their old home in Fangorn. She should be because that's where Elarinya told me she was waiting.

I hear a soft knock on my door. “Come in." I say. Bad idea.

“What is wrong with you? Your going to go search for that girl, whatever her name was? I thought you loved me, and only me!" She says In a harsh voice.

I give a sigh. “Tauriel, look we have both been effected by some sort of spell. You need to snap out of it!" I say, half yelling at her.

She looks at me weirdly and blinks a few times, processing what I said. Then realization, then sadness crosses over her features.

“I did not really say those things to Aerlinniel, did I?" She asks in a sad voice, tears brimming her eyes.

“I'm sorry Tauriel. Look, she is gone and we need to find her. You can come with us if you want to." I offer her.

“I think it would be best of I stay here. You know, in case she comes back." She says.

“Good idea Tauriel. If you don't mind, do you think you could go, I really need to finnish getting ready." I say.

“Oh, sorry. Yes, I'll get going now. Thanks Legolas." She smiles and walks out the door.

Just as I get back to getting things ready, I hear yet another knock on my door. “Come in." After I say this, Elarinya comes in.

“Legolas, a you almost ready?" She asks me.

“Almost, it's just that I keep getting interrupted." I say and give a small chuckle.

She gives a smile and says, “Are you doing alright, Legolas?"

I look over to her to see she has a concerned look on her face. “To tell you the truth, I am worried about Aerlinniel." I say, looking at the floor.

“I'm sure Aerlinniel is fine. She can take care of her self you know." Elarinya tells me gently.

“Yeah, I know. And it's not just that. I really miss her, and I care so much about her. I need to know for sure that she is alright. I- I- I love her." I say.

Then I say it again,

“I love her!"
