Aerlinniel POV

“So, Gandalf. Why did you have dwarves come and get me? Why could you not come yourself?" I ask Gandalf as we sit by a fire. At the moment it is just me and him. The dwarves are asleep.

“I had some important business to attend to. Again, I am sorry about the dwarves." He apologizes.

“It's alright. Now, why do you need me here anyway?" I ask, very curious on what Gandalf needs me for.

“Sometime, in the near future, I am going to need your help on an adventure. Would you be willing to come help?" He says.

“I don't think I would be able to. With Elarinya being kidnapped I just don't think I could. After she is safe, I think I am Just going to go back to either living by myself or I am going to Rivendell to find my friend, Faelwen." I answer.

“Wait, wait, wait. Your sister is alive? And she's been kidnapped? How come you did not say anything before, Aerlinniel?" Gandalf says quickly.

“Yes, Elarinya is alive, but I did not know she was alive when you had come to visit me before. And yes, she has been kidnapped, but I don't know by who. I was going to go save her, but those dwarves took me before I could." I say.

“It's as I feared. I knew this was going to happen sooner or later." Gandalf says, thinking to him self.

“What? What's going on Gandalf?" I ask, confused at his words.

“Wait, you have a friend named Faelwen?" He asks.

“Yes, but what does she have to do with anything? Gandalf you need to tell me what is going on." I say sternly.

He gives a sigh before explaining, “The person who took Elarinya is your uncle, Lithônion. And Lithônion is also Faelwen's father. That means Faelwen is your cousin."

At first I stand there shocked. Faelwen is my cousin. I can't believe it. What I don't get is why my uncle would abduct Elarinya. It makes no sense.

“Gandalf, why would my uncle take Elarinya?" I ask.

“Because he is getting revenge for his sister, your aunt's, death. She was in love with your father, but your mother was too and ended up marrying your father. Your aunt is the one who put the curse on you to be blind and your uncle helped her with it. She ended up dying of a broken heart. And, since your mother was killed by the Dragon, he is going after you instead. He found out that you posses a power, one he could use to take over Middle-Earth. That's why he took your sister, to get you for your power and then to kill you." Gandalf says.

“Everything that has happened has happened because of me?"
