A walking disaster, a perfect description of the third-year student at Seoul Culinary Arts School Bae Joohyun. On first look, the girl literally glowed from head to toe with her sparkling round eyes and skin fair as snow, but beneath that perfect exterior was her true self, a hopeless klutz.

Cutting her fingers from slicing strawberries, always on the receiving end of burns from her nemesis the oven, and even toppling a whole freshly-baked cake on her instructor, that was Bae Joohyun. Speaking of the last incident, it was exactly what landed the poor girl in her current situation. Beside Kang Seulgi. As her partner for their Fondant Making 101 class.

After that unfortunate incident when Joohyun threw her completed fondant cake onto her instructor after tripping on...wait for it...nope it wasn't an inanimate object like a table or anything but yes Bae Joohyun tripped on her own two feet, she was forced to retake this module this semester if she wanted to graduate. Joohyun shuffled her feet as she sat quietly on her high stool, totally frozen in the presence of a certain nice-smelling girl beside her. Yes she was creepy like that.

Seulgi's POV

Kang Seulgi, the genius second-year student, ideal type of every student in the Academy, female or male. The girl oozed charisma with her every step, with eyes that curved into beautiful moons when she smiled, she literally had the whole school enthralled. Her suitors lined from Seoul to Busan (no kidding), but the girl rejected all of them, of course politely as expected from the mannerly angel, all for one person, which she happened to be seated beside today.

As clichéd as it seems, it was almost love at first sight for Seulgi and the beautiful fairytale actually began on the younger one's first day at the Academy. Coming from a family of chefs, with her parents owning a chain of bakeries and her siblings working as top pastry chefs at renowned hotels, Seulgi was naturally enrolled in culinary school with her exceptional talent in baking. Unknown to the older girl, the two actually met before, and it was that exact moment when Seulgi fell for Joohyun. Or rather, Joohyun fell ON Seulgi.

- Flashback -

Seulgi was calmly walking to her first class on her first day in Seoul Culinary Academy with her new books in hand, humming a pleasant tune as she admired the pretty architecture of the Academy. She was extremely excited to attend her first class in Seoul's top academy for Pastry Chefs. With a spring in her step, she was about to turn a corner before she arrived at her destination, but little did she know that her life was about to change as she headed towards the junction.

Before she could even register what happened, she was sprawled on the floor, covered in crumbs and cream, which she believed used to be cupcakes before they met their demise.

"Oh my gosh I'm so screwed... Instructor Kim that old demon's going to kill me if I go to her class without these..." the girl mumbled as she hurriedly recovered from her fall and stared at the remnants of her cupcakes, now all over Seulgi's body. Seulgi could only stare at the beauty in front of her, how she was biting her cherry red lips as her brows creased together while she worried herself with dealing with a certain demon instructor, totally forgetting that she was currently covered in cream.

When the brunette finally snapped out of her trance and mumbles, she finally realized that her precious cupcakes landed on an actual person. Getting flustered all over again, she clumsily tried to wipe the cream off Seulgi with her bare hands while apologizing profusely. Wow I can listen to her voice forever... Totally enjoying the current situation was a certain Kang Seulgi, with a bright smile plastered on her face despite looking like a walking pastry on her first day at school. What a hopeless fool. Her happiness was short-lived thought, the bell suddenly rang, signaling the start of school and once again, the brunette flew into a state of panic with the continuous mumbles which sounded like "I'm so dead", "demon kim" and some undecipherable words.

Seulgi could only stare in amazement as the brunette jetted off towards the stairs without even sparing her another glance. Thankfully the younger girl managed to sneak a peek at the brunette's name tag before she scurried away. Seulgi was left rooted to the spot as she smiled like a fool to herself looking at the brunette's back view. Bae Joohyun, I'll remember your name.

After that fateful encounter, Seulgi always tried to look for Joohyun around school just so she could catch a glance of her 'Clumsy Goddess' as the younger one aptly named the brunette. Seulgi noticed how Joohyun was always tripping over nothing and even walking into walls just because she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings. It was adorable to the younger one as she found herself falling more for the school's klutz. She admired Joohyun like how she would with art pieces in museums; she never approached the older one and just looked wistfully from afar. Seulgi was a perfectionist, she wanted her first, or rather second meeting with Joohyun to be nothing short from perfect, so she never tried to talk to the girl and only observed her till she was confident enough to approach her. And with Lady Luck shining on Seulgi, she was finally given a chance to when Joohyun's own misfortune brought them to their current situation, being beside each other as partners for the next three months.

Back to the current situation, Seulgi was literally trembling inside as she tried so hard to keep her calm and cool outer façade while being beside Joohyun. She hasn't been this close to her 'Clumsy Goddess' ever since the unfortunate, or fortunate according to Seulgi, cupcake incident a year ago. The class was awaiting the arrival of their instructor, which so coincidentally happens to be Instructor Kim, or more affectionately known to Seulgi as Demon Kim according to her crush. Seulgi wistfully stared into space as she thought this must be fate, with Demon Kim being their Cupid, bringing them together.

Her daydream was brutally shattered when a low voice boomed and echoed through the entire classroom. She suddenly heard a thud beside her and she turned her head only to see her goddess sprawled on the floor. Yes, Joohyun got so startled by Instructor Kim's sudden entrance that she fell off her high stool. Seulgi giggled even though she knew she probably shouldn't be laughing at someone else's misfortune but...who else could still look so adorable being all sprawled out on the floor? No one but her Clumsy Goddess.

Joohyun pouted as she tried to get up on her own, only to trip on her untied shoelaces again and no surprise, she fell again. But this time, a certain black-haired girl was fast enough to grab onto her forearm, saving the damsel from her distress, or rather just clumsiness.

"Are you okay?"

Joohyun's POV

Wow this person has really soft hands...The older girl was about to thank her savior when she realized who it was. Kang Seulgi? SCA's combination of brain and beauty? Am I hallucinating?

Joohyun looked up at the perfectly sculpted face created by God himself and spazzed silently when the younger one flashed her one of her famous eye smiles.

"Hello, earth to Joohyun-ssi? Knock knock, anybody there?"

She finally snapped out of her trance as she managed to hastily mumble a word of thanks shyly to the girl under the intense stare of Demon Kim, who was extremely determined to make Joohyun's life difficult after she ruined her favourite shirt just last month.

As the klutz finally settled back safely on her seat, Instructor Kim cleared her throat before speaking, wait scrap that, before shouting at the entire class. "As today marks the first lesson in your module of Fondant Making 101, it is probably your first time meeting me, at least for most of you..." Instructor Kim said as she side glanced in Joohyun's direction. "I am Instructor Kim Yerim and I will be in charge of all you little fledglings for the next three months. I expect no monkeying around and please be careful with all the equipment in this room. I hope for an accident-free term so please cooperate with me on that! With that aside, the person you're currently seated beside will be your partner for the whole duration of the module and your scores will be tabulated together for this term so as to encourage teamwork and bonding. Okay enough said, let's begin! One person per bench please come up to the front to collect your ingredients for the day!!! We are learning to make basic fondant today!"

Somehow Joohyun felt that she would be the only one endangering the entire class' wellbeing and safety this term and Demon Kim was indirectly speaking to her with her 'threatening' welcome speech. She was shaken out of her reverie when she felt someone nudge her from the side.

"Joohyun-ssi, I believe I haven't properly introduced myself. I am Kang Seulgi, second-year student, and I'm extremely pleased to meet you!" Seulgi smiled as she reached out her hand to Joohyun. Joohyun couldn't believe her luck, maybe she was finally going to escape the clutches of Demon Kim with Seulgi as her partner, I mean afterall she wasn't labeled the Genius of SCA for nothing! She could only smile at that thought as she took Seulgi's outstretched hand and shook it.

"I am Bae Joohyun, third-year student but repeating this module thanks to Demon Kim, oops I meant Instructor Kim over there. It's a long story so I'll save it for another time but she hates my guts now so..." Joohyun sighed and bowed her head down. The younger one broke into a smile at the sight of the dopey puppy in front of her as she used her other free hand to tilt the brunette's chin up and gave her a silly grin.

"Joohyun Unnie, don't worry! I'll make sure you achieve more than a pass on this module! Oh wait...sorry I was too excited! I mean...I can call you unnie...right?" Seulgi looked at the brunette hesitantly, though her lopsided grin was still plastered on that perfect face.

Joohyun literally spazzed over Seulgi's smile and the fact that she was still holding onto that warm extension of Seulgi just made her face turn into the same colour as red food coloring on Demon Kim's table. Speaking of the devil, Instructor Kim suddenly shouted her name and Joohyun immediately let go of the younger girl's hand as she hurried to collect the ingredients from the teacher's bench.

Walking back to their shared bench, she was this close to placing the bowl of ingredients down but unfortunately, Joohyun tripped over the gas cable. Is this is? Am I finally going to be expelled by Demon Kim? Oh well, at least I held hands with Kang Seulgi today...I can die without regrets...

Joohyun expected herself to be covered in food coloring but all she felt was body warmth and soft flesh. She opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was a pair of chocolate-brown orbs staring back at her.

"Gotcha."

For the second time today, Kang Seulgi saved her. My knight in shining armour...actually no, make that a clean white chef's uniform...she is so...attractive...

"Be careful next time, Joohyun Unnie!" Seulgi winked as she caught the bowl from the older girl and placed it safely on their bench.

The next thirty minutes was surprisingly accident free as the duo mixed the colours around to get the colour they desire for their fondant dough. Joohyun finally got the colour she desired after putting herself in her serious mode for the the past thirty minutes and she was extremely excited to mix it into her dough. She glanced to her side and the sight that greeted her made her heart flutter.

Seulgi was in such deep concentration that she had to squint her eyes and scrunch her nose. Joohyun found that extremely adorable and she wondered how a perfect person like Seulgi could even exist. While she admired the younger one, she didn't notice a dark aura approaching from her other side.

"Bae Joohyun-ssi, what do you think you are doing staring at Seulgi-ssi like that?" Instructor Kim's voice boomed and Joohyun literally jumped at the sudden presence of the Devil herself. The sudden appearance caused the girl to dump her entire mixture of food coloring onto Seulgi, staining her uniform a bright shade of purple. Joohyun could only stare at her in horror as Instructor Kim fussed over the younger girl.

"I'm okay Instructor Kim, it's okay! Don't blame Joohyun-ssi!" Seulgi said with a smile so charming that even Demon Kim couldn't resist and she thankfully left Joohyun alone with a mere glare and warning.

"Thank you, Seulgi-yah...I'm sorry you have to endure working with a walking disaster for the next three months..." Joohyun mumbled an apology as she rinsed her hankerchief in an attempt to help Seulgi rid of the stains.

Seulgi's POV

She's truly a klutz...but...she's my klutz...hehehehe

Seulgi stared at the older girl diligently scrubbing at her forearm, although she knew the brunette's efforts were going to be futile, she still smiled at the more than adorable sight of an apologetic Joohyun.

The way she called me 'Seulgi-yah'...I can record it and listen to it on my Ipod forever... Heck, she can pour an entire bucket of food colouring on me and I'll still smile at her like a fool... Okay no, control yourself Kang Seulgi.

Yes you are cool. You are calm. Yes Seulgi you got this.

Seulgi recomposed her inner fangirl as she placed her other hand gently on the brunette's furiously scrubbing ones. At the gentle touch, Joohyun looked up with big round eyes and Seulgi wanted nothing more than to pinch those cheeks.

And so she did.

Damned temptations.

The older girl froze like a block of ice at the contact and Seulgi had to think fast. Okay Kang Seulgi, act normal. NOW!

"Earth to Joohyun Unnie???" Seulgi waved her hands in front of the older one and finally got a reaction from her after a whole minute.

"At this rate you're scrubbing my shirt, you're going to create a new hole Unnie!" chuckled the younger girl as she saw the blushing tomato.

Seulgi made a mental note to save that image forever in her mind.

"Let's finish today's class well shall we?"

Soon enough, after two months, the duo got closer and even spent time together outside class. One instance would be them getting ice cream together after yet another torturous class with Demon Kim. The instructor picked on Joohyun for the entire duration of the class, she got scolded for the smallest of things even though her current state of 'klutziness' already dropped significantly since the module began, thanks to the help Seulgi always so willingly rendered to the poor girl.

To cheer the older one up, Seulgi decided to drag the brunette to her favourite ice-cream parlour near school. The only information she left out was that her brother actually owned the store.

The two girls strolled happily to the ice cream store in the cool autumn breeze. Seulgi looked to her side to admire the beauty who was now her friend, and hopefully soon-to-be girlfriend. She smiled at the innocence Joohyun exuded, despite being the older one, the girl was actually very young at heart. These past few months, Seulgi found out that the older girl was actually extremely playful too. She would tickle Seulgi as she knew the younger one was ticklish and laugh extremely loudly when she successfully made Seulgi squirm. Seulgi also gave the brunette a nickname, Baechu, which meant cabbage. It was a cute pun on her name Bae Joohyun and the older one's obsession with cabbages also added on to her charm. Once, she even teared abit when Seulgi exterminated the cabbages in Plants Versus Zombies. That was how eccentric Bae Joohyun was, but Kang Seulgi adored every bit of it.

Seulgi noticed Joohyun stuffing her hands into her coat pocket and an idea immediately popped into her mind. Hehe, skinship here I come...

The younger one daringly reached out her own pair of warm hands and pulled the brunette's hands out of her coat pockets. Joohyun looked surprised at her sudden action but Seulgi only smiled as she intertwined their fingers and stuffed it into her own coat pocket.

It could be the cold but Seulgi sure hoped it wasn't, because Bae Joohyun's face was currently a very adorable shade of pink and all she wanted to do was to peck those chubby cheeks but she knew it wasn't the correct time yet.

Patience Seulgi, patience.

Someday...

After a short walk, the duo finally arrived at the ice cream parlour and was greeted by a tall man with extremely sharp features.

Joohyun thought the man looked extremely like Seulgi but she dismissed it when she felt the sudden lost of warmth from her hand. Was she really disappointed that Seulgi had let go of their intertwined hands? Okay stop it Bae Joohyun, get yourself together!

"Joohyun Unnie, what ice-cream flavour would you like!"

Joohyun's eyes lit up upon looking at the assortment of ice cream flavours as she was spoilt for choice. She eventually settled for the smooth yet exotic Red Velvet Ice-Cream while Seulgi picked her favourite chocolate fudge. The younger one told Joohyun to find a seat while she collected the dessert and when she finally left, the man raised his eyebrows at Seulgi and looked at her with a playful expression.

"Yah Oppa! Stop looking at me like that! You might scare Joohyun Unnie!" Seulgi reprimanded the man.

Kang Minhyuk was Seulgi's older brother, the owner of many small cafés and this ice-cream parlour happened to be one of them.

"So...Joohyun Unnie eh? I must say though, you have good taste in women my dear sister! Go for it tiger!" Minhyuk chuckled as he ruffled Seulgi's hair before handing over the two cones to the girl.

"Enjoy them with your 'Joohyun Unnie', it's on the house! It's the least I can do for my cute and only younger sister right?" he cheekily said with a wink.

"And before your 'Joohyun Unnie' burns a hole in my head from her glaring, please return to her!"

Seulgi too, glared at her childish elder brother before she made her way back to Joohyun. The older one looked slightly displeased and Seulgi did not know why, she thought the brunette probably waited too long for the ice-cream and was hungry.

"Say, Seulgi-yah...who is that man?" Joohyun asked carefully.

Seulgi was happily licking her ice-cream but nearly choked when she heard the question.

"Yah!!! Be careful! I'm the klutz here not you!!!" the older one said as she handed Seulgi her bottle of water. When the younger one finally calmed down, she decided to make up something and hope Joohyun falls for it. I mean, Joohyun falls for everything. Literally.

"He's just the store owner! I am a regular customer here!"

"Okay...I just thought you two were...together. Since you know, you two seemed close..." Joohyun mumbled as her whole expression screamed that she was jealous.

Seulgi nearly choked on her ice-cream the second time when she heard the girl but thankfully she gulped down Joohyun's water just in time. When Seulgi finally realized what Joohyun was implying, she could not help but break into her signature grin.

"Joohyun Unnie...say...are you...jealous?" Seulgi smirked when she asked the older one, at the same time slowly inching towards her.

Joohyun froze when she felt Seulgi approaching as she managed to stutter a pathetic and unconvincing 'no'. She closed her eyes as she puckered her lips, eagerly awaiting Seulgi's advancements. After not feeling any contact on her lips for a few seconds, Joohyun opened her eyes and Seulgi was right in front of her face. The older one nearly flipped.

Suddenly, Seulgi spoke.

"Your ice-cream looks delicious Unnie, can I have a taste?"

And that was the embarrassing story of the almost-first-kiss of Bae Joohyun, courtesy of the Temptress, Kang Seulgi.

After three tiring months under the unfortunate tutelage of Demon Kim, it was finally the last lesson for this module, which also happened to be the practical test. It felt bittersweet as Joohyun really enjoyed having classes with Seulgi, but however was extremely glad to finally escape the clutches of Demon Kim.

Their final task was to bake a fondant cake all by themselves and it would be assessed based on both aesthetics and taste.

The timer began as every pair got to work. Joohyun was surprisingly agile today and it even surprised the instructor herself. Seulgi admired the serious side of Joohyun and sighed as she wondered when would be the next time she could work with the older one like this. Joohyun was so concentrated on whisking the icing that she didn't realize she got a bit of cream of her cheeks.

Seulgi did though.

And she couldn't resist it any further.

Here goes nothing.

"Joohyun Unnie, you have something on your face..." Seulgi said as she leaned forward towards the older girl, albeit slowly, and gently licked the whipped cream away.

"Mmmm, I think the icing tastes really good Unnie..." the younger one winked at the stunned girl before resuming her kneading of the fondant dough.

Joohyun literally froze for a good minute before she realized she whisked the icing too much and she had to restart. Damn that Kang Temptress.

After a good hour of hard work, most of the students were done with their cakes and they were all cleaning up their work benches.

"Okay stop everyone!!!! Time is up!!! Now please bring your finished creations to my table up front for judging! And yes Table 14, can we please have Seulgi-ssi to hold the cake instead thank you!" Instructor Kim bellowed.

The judging went by without a hitch thanks to Joohyun not being anywhere near the finished cakes. The results would be posted on the board the next day and Joohyun prayed hard that they would ace this module. She glanced at Seulgi and gave her a thumbs up and the widest smile she could muster.

Hopefully everything would turn out fine...

"The results for Fondant Making 101 are out!!!" Yuna screamed as the excited students in class, including Seulgi, ran towards the bulletin board to check their grades.

"K....Ah there it is!!! Kang Seulgi and Bae Joohyun!!!"

Seulgi's eyes almost popped out when she saw that they achieved full marks. She couldn't wait to break the good news to Joohyun who was currently stuck in Culinary History Class. She texted the girl to meet her at the garden after school but little did she know Joohyun had other plans in mind...

The school bell rang and Seulgi immediately bolted to the garden, extremely excited to meet Joohyun. She saw the older girl seated on the bench looking as beautiful as always and she couldn't resist the urge to give her a back hug.

And so she did.

Joohyun was startled at first but immediately leaned back into Seulgi's embrace as soon as she recognized her familiar scent.

The two stayed in that position for abit, it was a very comfortable kind of silence and they both enjoyed it fully. Seulgi was the first one to break the silence as she spoke.

"Unnie, guess what...We got full marks for the test!!!"

Both girls jumped in joy as they embraced each other happily.

"Seulgi-yah, let's walk around school shall we? We won't get to spend as much time together now that the module has ended and I want your company today..." Joohyun smiled as she took hold of the younger girl's hand, surprising her as Joohyun was never the one to initiate skinship. Seulgi nodded at the older girl's request as she herself too, wanted to spend more time with her favourite Joohyun Unnie.

After walking for abit, Seulgi found herself at a very familiar place. It was the exact same corner where Joohyun first fell on her and spilled her cupcakes all over her. Seulgi smiled as she recalled the memory but she knew the older girl had no idea that happened. Seulgi continued walking but she realized the brunette wasn't beside her anymore. She turned back immediately and noticed that the girl was standing at the exact same spot where they collided.

"Seulgi-yah...you must be wondering why am I not walking right? Is this place familiar to you? Because it is to me..." Joohyun said with a small smile on her face.

It couldn't be...I thought she didn't know...?

Seulgi could only stare at the older girl with her mouth wide open as she waited for the older girl to continue.

Joohyun walked towards Seulgi and pulled her towards herself.

"This was the place where we first met, Seulgi-yah. I remember. I didn't forget. I just pretended to..." Joohyun took a deep breath before continuing.

"I literally made you a walking cupcake on your first day of school and I didn't even tell you my name in my flustered state. I was embarrassed. I couldn't bring myself to face you again so I just pretended to not know of this incident and started afresh when you were assigned to be my partner in class. You know...so that things won't get awkward...hehe." The brunette giggled as she remembered how shy she was in front of Seulgi at first.

"I felt that it would only be right for me to say these words at this exact same spot where we first met. Blame me and my hopeless inner romantic self! At first when I first got assigned to you as your partner, I was so happy because I knew you excelled at what you did, and maybe you could help me pass that module so I could escape Demon Kim's clutches. It was plainly like that in the beginning...but..." Joohyun's cheeks started to grow a slight tint of pink and Seulgi almost squealed at the cute sight but allowed the older one to continue nonetheless.

"As the days went by, you were always there for me. You always helped me and you started to make me feel things that I never felt before. I wanted to hug you all the time because you remind me of my favourite stuffed bear, I don't think that's normal right...hehe anyway! I wanted to strangle the man at the ice-cream parlour when he ruffled your hair because I wanted to be the only one who could touch those silky locks. Now I really do sound like a creep..."

"But most of all, I knew you were different when I was actually anticipating something, when you came so close to me. My heart was literally racing. You had that effect on me, it was scary to think that someone holds that much control over my feelings. I tried very hard to deny it and resist it but I guess that didn't work out really well did it? If it worked I wouldn't be here babbling on like a hopeless lovesick fool..."

Joohyun finally looked into the eyes of a smiling Seulgi and took hold of the younger girl's hand as she finally spoke.

"I'm falling down all the time, but every single time without fail you were there to catch me. Seulgi-yah, but if I tell you now, that this time I'm actually falling for you...will you catch me again?"

Seulgi couldn't resist anymore as she leaned forward to seal her lips with Joohyun's. The way their lips moulded together and how soft Joohyun's lips were drove Seulgi crazy. She wanted to kiss this pair of lips forever. Joohyun was the first one to break away from their sweet and tender kiss as she looked expectantly yet shyly at the younger one.

Slightly breathless, Seulgi leaned forward once again and whispered into Joohyun's ear.

"Always will Unnie, always."
