~Lucy's POV~

BE-

I slap my hand onto my alarm to make it shut up. It was 6:30. Groaning, I get up to do my daily morning routine. I get my school uniform from my closet and head to the bathroom.

Finally finished from doing my daily routine, it was 7:24. I walked into my kitchen to make myself some breakfast but to stop, from noticing a very special redhead eating a strawberry cake slice. It was Erza. "Erza?! What are you doing here?!" I asked loudly in utter shock. "To see, that you don't sleep in." She tells me. "Still doesn't mean that you could sneak into my apartment." I tell her having annoyance in my voice.

I went to get a my self a bowl, then a box of Fruit Loops. I place my bowl at the table to go get milk, as soon as I placed the bowl down Erza went in and stole one of the red loops. Then ate it happily. I sighed but continued on to the fridge to get the milk.

~Erza's POV~

BEEP

BE-

It was 4:30 in the morning. The first day of sophomore year. I ran to my closet, grabbed my uniform then rushed to the bathroom to do my daily routine.

I walked out of the bathroom happily, then into the kitchen to see my roommate Kagura making coffee. She noticed me then asked, "Why'd you wake up early, then make loud footsteps through the entire house?" "Cause it's the first day of sophomore year, my dear friend!" I tell her loud and proud. "Shh, let the neighborhood have their rest." She tells me, I chuckled at the remark.

I head to the fridge and take out a slice of my strawberry cake. Kagura sets the table with her plate and our coffee cups. "Why'd you wake up early?" She asks me. "Like I said, it's the first day of sophomore year." I tell her gleamingly. "I think that's not it..." I heard her mumble under her breath. "Well tell me, what the other thing is." I tell her. "Lucy..." She tells me. She is right... Lucy, with her beautiful brown eyes, her silky blonde hair... And her cute smi- WAIT WH-WHAT AM I THINKING?! I can't think of Lucy like that, she's my best friend. And I doubt she'll like me back... Or even like girls... I was deeply in thought, then noticed my face is starting to feel hot.

"I-I... She's not the reason I woke up this early." I stutter out, still having my face heated. "Says the one who's blushing." Kagura points out teasingly. "I... Well look at the time, I'll be going now." I tell her, rushing out of the house with my backpack and plate with my slice of cake. I headed towards Lucy's apartment building.

I headed in the building and went to her apartment. I checked the door and it was, surprisingly unlocked. Opening the door and checking the time on my phone to be 5:45. Walking in, I went over into the kitchen and started to continue eating my slice of cake. I went into thought about Kagura and I conversation. I can't be falling for Lucy, she's my best friend and it's not like she's going yes if I do confess....

I sat at the table noticing time went by fast and it was like 7:24, then Lucy's voice. "Erza?! What are you doing here?!" She shouts. "To see, that you don't sleep in." I tell her the lying excuse for me being here. "Still doesn't mean that you get to sneak into my apartment." She tells me sounding annoyed.

She finally shrugs off, of me being here. She went to get get a bowl, now a box of Fruit Loops. I finished my cake, and Lucy was going to eat breakfast. She placed down her bowl of cereal, and I reach into the bowl and stole a red loop. I ate it happily, then noticed Lucy saw me and smiled a bit before heading to her fridge for milk. I then started to feel heat across my face. Did my heart just skip a beat... When she smiled?

~Time Skip~

~Lucy's POV~

I finished eating my breakfast, and noticed that Erza has been glancing at me then back down to the ground. "Hey Erza, are you okay?" I asked her concerned. "Y-yes, it's just something's on my mind." She stutters out, that's strange Erza doesn't usually stutter.

Erza and I started to walk to school, on the way the there we met Mira and Cana walking together. I noticed that Mira eyeing at Cana, and Cana glancing at Mira. Aww, how cute... "So Mira, where's Lisanna?" Erza asks Mira. "Oh, she went with Elfman." Mira explains.

We finally made it to school to be waved over by Levy. "Hi Lu-chan." She says smiling. "Hey Levy." I responded. Levy was with Juvia, and Wendy. (Hehe, all three of them have blue hair...) It was Wendy's first day of high school. "Juvia, Wendy." I greeted. "Hiya Lucy." Wendy greets me smiling. "Love rival..." Juvia speaks up. "How many times do I have to tell you?! I don't think of Gray in that way!" I tell her loudly. "Love rival, Juvia knows you're lying. Love rival is going to secretly take Gray-sama from Juvia." Juvia tells me. I just sweat drop, from Juvia's conclusion. "Hey Luce!" I turn around to see Natsu and Gray. "Hey guys." I tell them grinning. "We should go get our class schedules." Gray tells us. We all nodded but as usual Juvia would have lovey dovey eyes over Gray.

We headed to the schools office, to get our schedules. "And here are your schedules, there are homerooms posted outside on the board." The office lady tells us. "Okay, thank you." Erza tells the lady then exited. We went to the bulletin board, to check what homeroom we have this year.

We checked on the board it was split in different papers for the guys and for the girls. I saw that Erza, Cana, Mira, and I have the same homeroom. And it seems they all noticed. "Alright! We have the same homeroom!" Cana shouts happily. We didn't seem to notice the other names that were listed, just our own name.

We all head in to see Natsu, Gray, and Gajeel fighting head to head. There was Laxus who was smirking at the sidelines waiting for something bad to happen. Until something almost hits Laxus, which caused Freed to enter their frenzy. The swung open to see that Sting, and Rogue at the door.

~Yukino's POV~ (Didn't see this coming, did ya?)

I wait for Kagura outside of the office for her to get her schedule with Lisanna until she told me she had to go show Wendy around the school. I was about to open the door, but the door open just as soon I went over. "Took you long enough." I teased. "Sh-shut up." She said flustered. Seeing her all flustered like that is cute... What am I thinking?! I said mentally trying not to blush. "I saw the homeroom and we have the same one." I tell her to get my mind off of what I was thinking about. "Huh that's good." She tells me. "Well, we shall get going then." I spoke as I reached for her hand, and my face felt quite warm. But I continued on with it until we reached our destination. "We're here." I tell her cheerfully. I turn around to see Kagura looking at the ground blushing a bright shade of red. "Are you okay?" I asked her. "We're... Still holding... Hands." She choked out. "S-sorry." I tell her having my face become flushed with a shade of red. Letting my hand go of hers. "It's fine." She tells me still having a taint of pink on her face. We both enter the class to see Millianna waving to us to come over. "Hey guys." She greets cheerfully. We both greet her, then Hisui came in class and sat next to us.
