Fallen Wish

"I heard about Robin, is he okay?" Marzia asked as she appeared beside Signe, following Naomi's brisk pace with ease like the soldier she was forced to be.

"He's fine, just stay low and keep an eye out for Crowley, he's been targeting every angel in Brighton to get to the portal to Heaven." Naomi informed her grimly.

Marzia nodded before disappearing, leaving Signe alone with Naomi as they left the hospital and entered the parking garage.

"Signe wait!"

Signe froze when she heard a familiar voice filled with fear that made her heart ache.

She looked around to find Sean curled up in the corner of the garage on the floor, his body shaking.

"Crowley." Naomi scowled as she stormed towards Sean with her angel blade drawn.

"Wait!" Signe pleaded, stepping between the two.

"What are you doing Signe? Get out of my way!" Naomi barked.

"He's my friend, there has to be a way to get rid of Crowley without killing him." Signe reasoned hopefully.

"H-He was in my head, then he left after looking through my memories." Sean stammered.

"Do you know where he went?" Naomi cut in.

"No." Sean shook his head much to Signe and Naomi's disappointment.

"I nearly killed Robin." Sean whispered remorsefully, his head bowed in shame.

"Do you know where PJ is?" Signe asked Sean gently as she knelt down in front of him.

"I'm so scared Signe." Sean whimpered, looking up at her with his sad blue eyes glittering with unshed tears.

"It's okay, we'll get rid of Crowley for good soon." Signe promised.

"PJ is in this closed shop on Brighton Pier." Sean stated.

"Why aren't we killing him? He captured PJ and nearly killed Robin!" Naomi snapped, causing Sean to flinch.

"That wasn't him, that was Crowley." Signe replied defensively on Sean's behalf.

"Fine, lets just go. We'll take him with us." Naomi sighed, grabbing both Sean and Signe's hands before the three disappeared.

"Woah, what the fuck?!" Sean exclaimed in surprise as they appeared at the pier.

"PJ!" Signe called out, ignoring Sean as she walked down the wooden boardwalk while Naomi flew from shop to shop.

"Found him!" Naomi announced from a closed up thrift store.

Signe and Sean ran to her to find PJ inside the shop tied up and unconscious, holy fire surrounding him.

"I did this to him." Sean mumbled numbly as Naomi put out the fire and untied PJ.

"You didn't, Crowley did." Signe reminded him.

"What happened? Where am I?" PJ muttered groggily as he woke up, pausing when he saw Sean.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" PJ yelled in rage as he charged towards Sean with his angel blade raised to strike.

"PJ stop, he's not Crowley!" Signe interjected, grabbing his hands to stop him.

"He tortured Robin without mercy, he-" PJ choked off, voice thick with emotion.

"I watched him be tortured, listened to him scream my name as Crowley stuck these needles in his head to tap into his thoughts." PJ continued softly.

"And I couldn't do anything to stop him...I was too scared to help." PJ muttered bitterly.

"I'm sorry." Sean apologized meekly.

"I know." PJ sighed wearily.

"Well isn't this a cute little pow-wow."

Signe turned around to find a man with blue hair, brown eyes, and glasses standing behind them.

"Mark?" Sean spoke up.

"Mark isn't home right now." Mark stated with a grin as his eyes turned blood red.

"Crowley." PJ growled in barely restrained anger.

"Leave my friend alone!" Sean argued furiously.

"Ah Sean, ever the brave one." Crowley chuckled as he sauntered closer to the green haired man.

"Leave him alone." Signe commanded coldly.

"Or what? You're a human, you can't hurt me. Besides, you don't want to kill Markimoo now do you?" Crowley taunted.

"I have a proposition for you." Signe declared to Crowley, wondering if what she was thinking would work or not.

"You possess me, and you'll learn where the portal is. After all, I've seen it." Signe offered hesitantly.

"Deal." Crowley agreed.

Abruptly red smoke poured out of Mark's body and into Signe's mouth, causing her body to spasm before Crowley took control of her.

"No!" Sean cried, catching Mark's body as he watched Signe's eyes turn blood red.

"Say goodbye." Crowley giggled before disappearing.

Signe was screaming in her head as Crowley took her towards the portal, her strength not enough to beat Crowley.

"Signe stop!" Sean cried as he appeared with PJ in front of the portal.

"You can't let him win, I believe in you." Sean told her firmly.

"I don't know what I would've done without you the past couple of days, you've made my life so much better." Sean admitted.

"Shut up!" Crowley snarled as Signe grew stronger, steadily taking back control.

"I need my fallen wish back." Sean pleaded with a sad smile.

With a loud scream from Crowley, Signe finally took back control, her eyes returning to their normal color.

"C'mon, I have an idea." Signe panted, her head throbbing in pain as she ran with Sean and PJ to the road where her grace was buried.

Thankfully it was empty, making it easier for PJ to punch through so she could reach her grace.

Just as Crowley started taking control again, Signe touched her grace and felt it absorb back into her body.

"Goodbye Crowley." Signe whispered as she used her regained powers to send him back to Hell.

"I will not give up!" Crowley yelled in her head before he was forced out and sent away.

Signe breathed out a sigh of relief as her wings expanded around her, the feathers stronger looking than ever.

"Welcome back to the angel army Signe." Naomi greeted her as she appeared in front of her.

"Come on, we've got work to do in Heaven." Naomi beckoned her as PJ disappeared to go to the portal.

Signe hesitated when she saw Sean's expression, the sadness and hurt in his eyes.

"Actually, I think I'm going to stay here as a human. I think I'd be more helpful that way anyway." Signe decided.

"Very well." Naomi smirked as she extracted Signe's grace, causing Signe's wings to disappear once more.

"Here." Naomi took both Signe and Sean's hands once more and flew them back to Ireland.

"Also, I took care of your friend, he's back where he was without a memory of what happened." Naomi informed Sean.

"Thanks." He nodded in appreciation.

"Good luck." She winked before flying away.

"So..." Sean trailed off as he glanced over at Signe.

"Yeah, I've got a lot to explain." Signe admitted sheepishly.

"I do too." Sean chuckled lightly.

"We'll talk on the way to the house." Sean decided as they walked hand in hand through the city.
