the silver spoon stirred the sugar cube floating in your coffee. you guys both know you can't afford to dine at a cafe so you sit in a vacant part of the school's cafeteria

silence is all anyone is saying as you watch the sugar dissolve  

"what...um...what did you want to talk about?" your voice cracked as you whispered, he sniffed before downing his tea 

"us." he said simply and your heart began to break

"Coryo...I'm sorry I should've never blamed you for anything...I know you're stressed" you immediately apologize even though you're still hurt...but, you just know losing him would hurt even more so you cave.

"I don't care about that." He says and confusion must've been written all over your face because he let out an airy laugh before starting...

"why are you even feeling that way in the first place?" his larger hand cupped yours as relief flooded you

"It's just...the way you've been for the past few weeks...I thought you-" you choked on your spit as you didn't dare to even whisper him loving her, it filled you with rage 

"I know I've been distant...but this is really important for me...I need her to live" he explains squeezing your hand and you found a smile tracing your lips

"now! let's get back to the auditorium before the games really start!"
