Chapter 6.

After a few more days in Holmes Chapel, me and Harry headed back home to London and now we're in our usual routine: get up, work, come home, spend time together and sleep.

As of right now Harry is at work, at around about noon he called me up and asked how my day had been so far, as he does most days, he then told me that he had been to a meeting this morning that had gone quite well, had been to rehearsals for a couple of hours, and that afterwards he was going to be with the lads writing some new songs before he returns home.

Considering I have just finished work, I'll be the first one home, which means I can get the house nice and toasty for when Harry arrives. Due to it being winter, the cold echoes throughout the house, the cool air seeping through the door cracks and into the warm confines of our house; the battle between temperatures happening in every room until the cold finally wins and the house surrounds in the winter air.

I'm still driving my beautiful sky blue Mini Cooper, Russ, back home. He is still as brilliant as ever and never fails to get me from one place to another. I park my outstanding car in our driveway, making sure to enter particularly slowly due to the obscene amount of paps and fans waiting outside of our home. Some of the fans look like they have come just out of school as they clutch warmly onto their school uniforms, the freezing air hitting the girls bare legs, their socks knee length but not defending them against the bitter cold. Don't get me wrong, I love the fans, but when the temperatures are like this they shouldn't be hanging around here, they could get ill and that's the last thing me or Harry want.

I smile at the fans and give them several hugs, the group only small, probably about ten fans and the rest paps. Their cameras flashing brutally in my face.

"Hey girls and guys! Are you okay?" I ask them nicely. The two male fans slightly warmer with their long grey school trousers, long sleeved white shirts, grey jumpers and thick black blazers covering their bodies. Their hands clasped tightly in two of the other girls hands, clearly showing that there are two couples within the crowd.

"Yeah we're fine thanks!" They smile, trying to conceal their shivers as they speak to me.

"It's a bit cold out though." One of the lads laughs, his statement being proven correct when I notice the white breath leaving his mouth, the breeze so cold that the water vapour evaporates into the clear air.

"I know! You guys should be warm at home," I chuckle sweetly at their dedication, "not standing here in the cold."

"But we love you! And Harry! Could we have a picture please?" One of the girls plead, making my heart melt in my chest.

"Well we love you too! And of course you can." I smile as I take individual photos with them all, the paps still managing to get on my nerves as they refuse to leave us alone. Some of the girls shouting at them to 'back off' which makes me chuckle at the thought of them being so protective over me.

As I smile at the group surrounding me, an idea pops its way into my head, taking over my thoughts and erupting an even larger smile on my face. I finish signing autographs and taking pictures before I clutch my bag into my side, "right guys, stay here a sec and I'll be right back." they all smile and nod at me eagerly in response, wanting to know why I am keeping them here in the bitterness of the London air.

I run past all the paps and towards my front door, unlocking it quickly and shutting it behind me. I immediately turn the central heating on, hearing a small click as the thermostat roars to life, igniting all of the radiators in the house and warming it, the entire house will be warm within ten minutes.

I race up the stairs, quickly changing into my thick Christmas jumper and some black leggings with some thick warm fluffy socks. "Hey Comet!" I cheer, he is currently sat curled up next to Zaz on mine and Harry's bed, the two of them radiating body heat to keep each other warm, I knew they would get along!

My eyebrows furrow in confusion as I hear a quiet slam from downstairs, "Harry?" I question, hoping that it was my husband that just walked through the door and not an intrusive pap.

There is a loud silence, no answer for what feels like hours, until the beautifully husky voice of my husband calls upstairs, "down here babe!" My heartbeat paces itself, his voice calming me, a smile erupting on my face.

I run downstairs, Comet and Zaz following close behind me as they tumble down the stairs, chasing each other as they do so. "Hey babe!" I smile, not forgetting the awaiting fans outside.

"Hey!" he smiles in return, leaving a feathery kiss on my lips, "have you seen the fans outside?" he asks hanging his coat and scarf in the cupboard under the stairs.

"Yeah actually, and I have an idea." I smile cheerily, excited to tell him my upcoming idea.

He smiles and his eyes widen, "oh, me too! You go first!" he laughs wanting me to go first.

"No you go first!" I smile retaliating.

"No, ladies first!" he smirks knowing he has won. Oh, if only he knew...

"You should go first then." I smirk cheekily, squealing slightly as his long fingers tickle my sides making me crouch over in defeat.

"Well I was just thinking, that maybe we should invite the fans into the warm. I mean there's only about ten of them and it's freezing outside!" he almost pleads not realising that it is the exact same thing that I was thinking of doing.

"Definitely! They can watch the film with us," I smile up at him, his height towering over me as always and his incredibly distinctive dimples exposing themselves as per usual. Last night me and Harry had decided that after work today we would have a movie night, we were going to watch 'Despicable Me' and 'Despicable Me 2' because we haven't watched them in a while. "You go and invite the fans in and I'll set up the film and the food." I smile up at him.

"Okay, Go!" he orders like a coach would order a football team after a group meeting. I laugh at his cuteness and saunter into the wide open living room, everywhere spotless just how we left it this morning as we both ventured off to work; Comet and Zaz are now sat curled up on the three seater couch, taking up half of the space just for their tiny bodies alone. I laugh at the pair of them.

"Zazu, I hope you're not turning Comet into a lazy pet like you! We need a bit of energy in this house." I laugh at the two animals, Zazu lazily lifting his head and paying little attention to my playful scold before he returns his head back into its position, cuddled up closely beside Comet.

I place the DVD into the player and begin the film, pausing it before it starts to play. As I walk out of the living room I close the door, making sure all of the warmth stays in the room to warm it quicker; I happily stroll into the kitchen and pour some crisps into a bowl, I'm actually looking forward to having fans inside the house. This is going to be a completely new and rare experience for me and Harry, we have never done anything spontaneous like this, but it's horrible to see all of the fans so cold just to catch a glimpse of us. We're just giving back a little.

I grab ten empty cups and place them around the coffee table in the middle of the room, not knowing what they would like to drink. I make myself a cup of coffee and pour Harry a glass of apple juice, giggling internally at his childish nature.

I put some biscuits onto a plate and some party rings, because everyone loves party rings!

The front door opens slightly and I see some of the familiar faces from before walk through the door, seeing two or three missing. The expressions on the faces of the fans is priceless, their jaws hanging low as they take in the interior of our house still not believing that they are ACTUALLY in our house.

"Oh my gosh." I hear one of the girls whisper beneath her breath to herself. I stifle a laugh at their disbelieving attitudes. They are so sweet, I hope they enjoy themselves.

"Come on in guys!" I smile and place the plate of biscuits and bowl of crisps on the coffee table in the living room. "Comet, Zaz. Beds." I softly whisper to the two lazy animals currently sat on the couch. They both reluctantly agree, moving from their warm place on the couch to their padded individual beds. Zazu's is grey with tiny black cat prints on the inside and Comet's is bigger with an overall brown colour with light brown paw prints.

"They are so sweet!" two girls whisper in a soft voice, careful not to wake the now sleeping balls of fur.

I turn to glance at them, smiling widely at their words, "When did you get a puppy?" one of them continues.

"Harry got him for me as a Christmas present, his names Comet." I smile at their large grins, chuckling at them both.

"Awww!" all of the girls coo at Harry's sweet present and the beautiful ball of fur curled up in bed.

"Make yourselves comfortable everyone. There's plenty of room." I motion to the two three-seater couches, the two-seater couch and the two-seater stool acquired in the living room. I hear grateful 'thank you's' from the group and make my way towards Harry, my eyebrows furrowing slightly.

Although, he speaks before I can utter any of my rehearsed words, "They are outside calling their family and letting them know." he answers as if reading my mind. I nod my head, now knowing where the missing fans are; as if on cue, our conversation is cut short by a knock on the door, obviously the rest of the fans.

"You answer the door and I'll put the pizza's in." I order again, smiling as we plan our next moves.

"Okay." he smiles hugely. I love it when he smiles like this, when he's so happy that the crinkles at the side of his eyes appear. The only time I ever see them is when he is either with his family, with the lads, or with me. And I consider it a privilege to witness them, never mind being the cause of them! That just makes my heart melt!

I smirk as I decide to mimic his earlier words, "Okay, Go!"
