PERCY

A moment of silence shrouded the clearing, the Gods and their children gaping at me. I can't blame them though, we just destroyed a whole clearing and seemed like an enemy but then... BAM!! My awesome greeting startled them out of their pants. My greeting must have made them feel that they were lacking happiness and enthusiasm

Luke and the others groaned behind me while Ethan snickers "We come in peace, really?!" Luke exclaimed while crossing his arms and glaring at me with the others

"That was not what you were supposed to say!!" Michael added while rubbing his head, like he was willing for his headache to go away "We've told you a hundred times that 'we come in peace' is not something that should be said when it comes to introducing ourselves to a planet"

"For the first time in forever, I feel like laughing instead of scolding you, Percy" Ethan said, stifling a laugh while looking at the Gods and their expression

My eyes widened and I clap my hands together like some lunatic "Did you just quoted Frozen?!" I exclaimed while flapping my hands in the air

Ethan raised a brow "What?"

I covered my mouth and pretended to suppress a squeal while wagging my finger at him "You did!!" I said while grinning "You naughty boy. Have you been watching my DVDs' while I was not looking?"

Luke decided to be mischievous "Dude! I never knew you had it in you..." he snickered

Ethan grunted and glared at us "I don't know what you're talking about, but I feel like it's not good. In the first place, what in the name of Hades is a Frozen?"

I chuckled teasingly and patted him on the shoulder "Disney is something that no one can hate... so you don't need to pretend. Don't worry, I won't tell the others. " I whispered to him, before ducking when he swung his fist towards me

I was about to tease him again when another arrow was launched, this time, it was headed towards me, specifically... my head

"Hey!" I exclaimed while dodging the arrow

"STATE YOUR NAME, BOY?!" Artemis spat, her bow already drawn to notch another arrow

I pouted 'Kill Joy' I thought while looking at the Moon Goddess "Okay okay... no need to be hostile, girl"

Ethan snickered again along with the boys while the girls groaned again and glared at me "Greet them properly, or else..." Zoe threatened, her hands inching towards her dagger

I gulped and nodded my head "Yes, ma'am!!"

Zoe smirked at me "Good"

I turned towards the Olympians who were still holding their symbols of power. Time to get serious. I walked forward, but stopped when the twin archers notched an arrow, the said arrow landing just by my feet "Do not move any more than that, intruder" they growled

I sighed while staying where I was and surveyed the crowd of Half-bloods and Gods. So much for that warm welcome mother told me about, the Olympians looks like they want to skewer me on the spot.

I frowned with disappointment when I didn't see my Father, all the Olympians were present except for him. Putting aside him killing me, Dad is still my Dad and that will never change for me. I sighed sadly and continued my observation but my eyes stopped when I saw a bunch of kids who look like me when I was still a mere demigod... a lot like me, in fact.

I stared at them and my eyes widened when realization came crushing down on me "Styx..." I mumbled while looking on with disbelief. There were a few of them, it's still countable but that still doesn't change that fact that my Father had slept with some woman. Now, I know what Triton felt when Dad suddenly claimed me, minus the negative emotions.

The others hearing me say that turned to look at where I was looking and their jaws dropped open "Someone has been whoring himself around..." Ethan muttered darkly

"But... didn't they swore an oath?" Michael asked, disbelief coating his words

I shook my head "Mother lifted the oath a century ago, saying that they were being stupid. Why swore an oath that you'll end up breaking?"

Bianca sighed and looked at her siblings behind her father "That explains it"

"What are they? Bunnies?!" Ethan exclaimed while gesturing wildly at the children of the Big Three "They're so many!!"

"They're Gods, Ethan. What do you expect?" Silena muttered

"We'll discuss about this later... right now, the Gods looks like they'll blast us any minute now" Luke intervened while looking at the Olympians with a frown

I sighed again and looked at my old friends who are still surprisingly alive. I suppress another wince and did a curt bow "Olympians!!" I started "I am deeply sorry to have ruined this very beautiful clearing. I had not been paying attention when we had landed and thus, the result is this. Words cannot express my regret for my mistake..."

Zeus stepped forward, his bolt clutch tightly in hand "State your name and your purpose"

Realizing that we haven't even introduced ourselves makes me wince a little. Forgot about that "My sincere apology for not introducing ourselves earlier" I said doing another bow to show them that I was being sincere "We are what you would call Elites and we were send here by my mother to aid you in an upcoming war..."

"Your mother?" Hera asked, stepping beside her husband

I nodded "Chaos Xiretìa has send me here to aid you. I believe that she had inform you about me and my team..."

"Xiretìa?" Athena asked, looking confused and surprised "But... I thought that she has no surname?"

"She doesn't have a surname" I stated while crossing my arms

"Then what is this Xiretìa?" Athena demanded

"It's the name of our clan" I explained, ignoring her tone of voice

"Same thing" Apollo intervened while frowning

"No, the name of our clan. Name, it's what people call us, okay?" I explained

"But... Chaos is part of a clan?" Athena asked with surprise

I chuckled "Why must you be surprise? Creator or not, my mother is still a child born from the first beings. And that first beings were the founder of our clan. To make you understand better, the royal family is called the Xiretìa clan, we are the beings that watched and protect those who are within our reach. We are the creatures who have the blood of the creator flowing through our veins, we are the maintainers of darkness and light..." I explained "Mother's parents didn't have any name in the beginning of time, Void and Order were just names given to them by their creations. Void was planning to spread their influence throughout the galaxy, and it would be difficult to spread that influence since Order and Void were separate entities. That was when Xiretìa was founded, it's what you would called a trademark or something in your planet. The combination of two entities, that is Xiretìa, the union of two beings. Xiretìa doesn't just mean union but it also means guardian in our language. You'll never find it in your dictionary since our language doesn't exist in your planet"

"I see..." Athena said while writing down all of what I've said "But, if it's only the name of your clan, why did you say the name Chaos Xiretìa, earlier?"

I hummed thoughtfully "Xiretìa was just supposed to be what people call us, but it kind of sticks to us and became our last name..."

"So, Chaos does have a last name" Athena scowled

"More or less" I shrugged

"You should have just said that in the beginning!!" Athena exploded, completely forgetting her manners

I frowned at her, why is she mad? In the first place, it's just a surname, why does she have to be so serious? "I figured that you would love the information, was my assumptions wrong?" I asked while looking at her notes

Athena flushed with embarrassment and hurriedly went to hide her notes

I clapped my hands together "Now, are there any more questions?"

A kid raised his hand and I indicate he speak "What's your name? I mean we know that you and your companions are called Elites but what do we call you?"

"Ah..." I said while smiling at the kid "Almost forgot to tell you my name with all the questions from a certain goddess"

"As for my name, you can call me Pe—" I stopped when I remembered mother's warning. I frowned and think... I have never once used another name when it comes to introducing myself to others since the only planet to ever know me is Earth, but due to certain problems, I must come up with a name all of sudden in order to hide my identity. It's either I use my name and pretend to be confused if they react or come up with a name here on the spot. So much trouble

"Pe?" They asked while inching closer to me

I looked at Luke and mouthed 'What do I do?'

'Just get it over with' he mouthed back while motioning for me to go on

'So, I'll just use my real name?' I spoke in his mind making him jump a little, he glared at me and sighed 'Dunno, whichever you like...'

'Luke!!' I whined while pouting at him

He gave an exasperated sigh and crossed his arms while glaring at me 'Just use your name. For Chaos sake, it's just a name, Percy. No need to panic'

'A name that may cause me my life!! What if something goes wrong, Luke? One mistake in my part and everything that I've work so hard to forget will come back to me in a second' I thought while staring at him, my eyes filled with concern for myself and what would happen if my identity is revealed. All of this is because of a name. Stupid name, making me feel troubled...

His gaze softened 'What do you want do, Percy? What do you really want to do?'

'I don't know...'

Luke sighed and nudged Silena who was watching me with concern. Silena looked at him with confused eyes but understanding filled her gaze when Luke looked in my direction

'Percy?' Silena tapped against my consciousness and I let her in 'I think that you should use another name for the time being, then let them know your real name when you're feeling ready'

'But, I don't wanna lie to them...'

I saw Silena sigh 'Then, do you want to tell them the truth? Percy, whichever choice you pick, the result will be the same. They'll still see you as Chaos' son, that's all. So what if you say your name is Perseus? They'll be surprised, yes, but they'll just think that you have the same name...'

I looked at Silena and she stared back while smiling softly. My mind flashback to when mother told me use another identity in order to protect myself from the Olympians.

Making a decision, I stilled my determination and went for it "You can call me Perseus"

The Olympians' eyes widened along with the councilors "What did you say?" Thalia breathed

I tilted my head and pretended to frown "You can call me Perseus..."

The Olympians were gaping at me while Silena just smiled along with Luke and the others. Luke gave me a thumbs up while grinning at me with a proud glint in his eyes

"Is something the matter?" I asked, my voice laced with faked confusion

Nico gave a wobbly smile and shook his head "No, it's just... you have the same name as our cousin... so we were just shocked"

I nodded my head "I see... so about the stuff we need to discuss... where can we possibly—"

I walked past them while talking when I was cut off when Hades suddenly grabbed my arm "Wait!"

I frowned at him and when he realized what he had done, he let go and stepped back "I apologize for my behavior, but I have a question"

My heart skipped a beat when I heard that, I knew it! They were gonna ask me about my name!! I'm still not ready!!

I looked at Luke and the others for help. Sensing my distress, Luke and Zoe stepped forward before standing in front of me "If you wish to speak with his highness, you can just tell us what you want to say and we can pass him the message" they said in unison

I am forever glad that I chose them as my retainers. They help me whenever I'm in trouble or when they think I'm in trouble. Ethan and the others aren't my retainers, but they are under my supervision, so they will only act once I issued an order.

Hades gaped before frowning "I just need to ask him something, and besides he's right here in front of me, why do I need to tell you—"

Hades stopped talking when Zoe raised her hand "That doesn't matter, to us you are strangers, and we don't know if you are planning something to his highness. Please step back, Death God"

Hades growled at being called that, he doesn't like being a Death God, he was the God of the Underworld, not death "I can speak to him whenever I want" he growled and I faced palmed when I saw Zoe and Luke's face darkened a fraction

"His highness doesn't like being touched or be close to someone he just met, so please forgive us for interfering. We are only doing our job, Olympian" Luke explained "And... please watch the words that will come out of your mouth from now on..." He finished while resting his hand at the hilt of his sword, a clear warning that Hades should back off before he lose an arm or leg... or worse, his head

Hades went to open his mouth again when Persephone stepped in and glared at her husband "Enough!"

Zeus glanced at us apologetically "I apologize in his behalf, your highness"

I just waved my hand "No need to apologize, Sky God... it's just embedded in my retainers to act when someone unknown to them touches me..."

"I see" Zeus nodded his head "I apologize for the rude welcoming, but please come this way and we can discuss the matter at hand at the Big House"

I nodded and sent a thank you to Luke and Zoe in our mind links. I saw them smile at me before nodding their heads

While walking towards the Big House, I caught a glimpse of my siblings and became curious on how and when they arrived at camp. I went to stand beside the King of the Gods "Regarding about your and your brother's children..."

It was a random question, so I don't really blame the Olympians when they suddenly gaped at me with startled eyes

Zeus tensed "What about them?"

I ignored the sharpness of his words "I see that you have been creating a lot of miracles since mother lifted the oath" I said dismissively, ignoring his blushing face beside me "I just want to ask you about when you started having children..."

Zeus looks at me with a frown "May I ask why you want to know?"

I hummed "Just curious"

Zeus looked at me weirdly "About a half century ago, I guess..."

"And what about those children?" I motioned to my siblings while looking at the way Zeus' face fell

"They are children of my brother" he shortly answered

"I can see that, but what I want to know is when did they start appearing?" I asked while leaning a bit forward, eager to hear his answer

"About a decade ago..." Hera answered in place of her husband who was looking at me with a frown "But, may I ask why you are interested in our children suddenly?"

I shrugged "Just curious, is all. Mother never told me about you and the others. Putting aside that matter, who takes care of them? I believe that the centaur has enough responsibilities as it is..."

Hera smiled at me "We do"

I blinked in surprise "You're the ones taking care of the kids? I believe that it is against ancient law that you interact with your children directly"

"Your mother lifted that as well, we are now free to see and bond with our children, if we see fit" Apollo answered, in his hips is a little girl with bright blue eyes, looking at me with curiosity

"We decided that we should take care of our children since they are basically our responsibility. We can't just always rely on Chiron in taking care of them. Traitors were made because of our carelessness in the past, so we decided to make our children see that we do love them by visiting daily" Zeus explained while hoisting a little boy up in his arms "And... maybe because we want him to be proud of us"

I frowned "Him?"

Zeus just smiled sadly "Let's just say, he's the one responsible as to why we are taking care of our children"

I smiled at that, the guy must be something to make the whole council go down on earth just to see their children. In my time, you would have to be dying or doing something heroic for them to even pay attention to you.

I suddenly frowned when I remember not seeing Poseidon "Then, why is the Sea God not here?"

The Gods winced "Due to certain situations, Poseidon sometimes gets... too busy to visit the little ones" Athena explained

I stopped and frown at them "Then who takes care of his children?"

"That would be me" Chiron answered, galloping towards us while smiling at my direction

"And has Poseidon even stop by to see his children?" Silena suddenly asked, making the Olympians jump a little

I looked at the others with surprised eyes, almost forgot about them being here "He... has" Athena hesitantly answered

"His recent visit would be..." Beckendorf inquired, raising his brows, and crossing his arms

"A decade ago" Aphrodite answered, sadness lacing her voice

Ethan silently scoffed "Typical" he mumbled while looking at a distance

I frowned at him, the way he reacts makes it look like he was the one who was killed by his father

"And why would he not visit his children?" Michael asked, his voice laced with a slight sharpness

Athena mumbled something and the Gods beside her flinch. I raised a brow at that "Pardon?"

Athena snapped her head up "What?"

"Can you repeat what you just said..." I replied while tapping my fingers against my crossed arms

"It was nothing... your highness" Athena answered while looking the other way

I raised a brow, now she decided to use honorifics? "Oh, but I insist, with you trying so hard to not look me in the eyes makes me even more curious as to what you have to share to me and my companions"

Athena bit her lip and glanced at the other Gods for help, but they only shook their heads and motioned for her to just get on with it "His children are what you would call... unexpected"

"Unexpected?" Beckendorf asked, looking confused "Care to elaborate?"

Athena sighed sadly "Not planned, the children that are born from the blood of Poseidon here are all born from one night stands"

"All children here are born from one night stands" Ethan drawled while rolling his eyes

Athena coughed and blushed "Yeah..."

Artemis took pity on her sister and decided to explain in her stead "What my sister meant is that my Uncle's children are born because of some falling out with his wife and... son"

I scrunched my brows together. Did she mean Amphitrite and Triton?  "What does that have to do with the children?"

"Uncle, feeling stressed decided to seek comfort from another woman, but after the physical... intercourse" Artemis looks so uncomfortable explaining "He would end up regretting his choice and would try to prevent the child from seeing the world..."

"Prevent... the child... from what?" Luke gritted out, disbelief and horror coating his words

I frowned at him. I didn't quite get what was said, but what's wrong with protecting a child? I mean, he was preventing my siblings from getting harmed by trying to shield them from the cruel world "Why is he mad?" I whispered to Zoe

Zoe was also gritting her teeth "Are you not mad, Perseus?!"

"Why would I be mad? Father was only thinking of what was best for my brothers and sisters" I answered while looking at them with perplexed eyes

Zoe and the others looked at me with disbelief "Percy, he tried to kill your siblings, why would it be best for them?!" Bianca exclaimed silently

My eyes widened and my jaw hit the ground "He... tried to... kill them?"

"What else?!" Bianca answered while shaking her head with disbelief "What did you think it was?!"

I looked at the ground "I thought that he was protecting them from the world, you know, with all the stuff going on..." I muttered

Luke sighed "You and your positivity..."

"Not everything is as good as you think it is, Percy" Ethan mumbled while sighing angrily

I looked the Olympians who were all looking at the direction of the beach with sadness "Why would he do that?"

"A century ago, there was an accident and he is trying to prevent that from happening... again" Hades explained

"An accident?" I asked

"Poseidon... he... he..." Hades was trying to explain, but it looks like he was hesitating to do so

"He, what?" I urged

"Killed his own son" Persephone finished for her husband

My eyes widened, my death? Since when did my death affect them? "And?"

"He's scared of getting attached to them, so he tries to kill them before they are made aware that they are a half-blood" Persephone explained

"So... what you're saying, is that Poseidon tried to kill his children to prevent himself from doing the same thing he did in the past?" Ethan asked while scowling

"That would be right..." Hermes answered while looking confused

"That doesn't even make sense!!" Silena exclaimed "If he killed his son in the past, why try and kill his children when he clearly doesn't want the same thing to happen again? He's just rewriting the past!!"

"Gods and their ways" Ethan mumbled angrily

Luke and the others were looking at me, trying to gauge out my reaction. But, right now, I am too shock that I don't even know if I should feel angry or disappointed. The shock of knowing what my Father tried to do to my siblings made me feel numb.

"My head is aching" Michael muttered while sighing

"You're not the only one" Luke and the others muttered

I sighed and rubbed my head tiredly "Let's put aside that matter, for now. Right now, there are much bigger problems that needs attention" I stated, walking straight towards the Big House

"Why, of course" Zeus answered while trying to keep up with me

"Gather the councilors in a few minutes, we need them present at that meeting. Can't have them rushing into battle without knowledge as to who and how powerful is the enemy" I instructed

Zeus nodded and looked at Athena who tilted her head before separating herself from the group. What Father did was still lingering in my mind, but I pushed it into the back of my mind. I need to focus on dire matters for now, I'll try to solve that problem later...

A few minutes passed...

I was seated in the middle with Luke and Zoe by my side, standing, their hand resting at the hilt of their swords. The others were at the back, resting their backs against the wall and observing the people who enters the room.

Zeus stood up from his seat when he deemed that every councilor was inside "Children, as you all know, we are currently facing a crisis..." he trailed off while looking at each councilor carefully "Unfortunately, this crisis is another war that threatens the peace that we had ensured over the century" He turned in my direction "But, fear not. The creator sides with us and had send us aid"

Nico stood up from his seat "And who would that be?"

I watched the boy who I considered a brother a century ago with sadness and tad bit of bitterness. I had never felt any negative feelings when I was trying to forget my past, but actually seeing the ones who were the cause of my death in person, makes my heart squeezed in an uncomfortable way.

I gritted my teeth and willed the bitterness and anger to the back of my mind. They were not at fault. I was weak, so they naturally left me because I couldn't protect them. I need to stop myself from thinking that it's their fault when clearly, it was mine.

Zeus turned towards me "The youngest son of the creator has come to help us..." he motioned for me to stand up "Your Highness, if you would..."

I waved my hand dismissively "Perseus should suffice"

Zeus looked uncomfortable with my request "I'm sure you have met... Perseus, he will be the one who will help us until the war has come to pass"

I stood up from my sit and bowed my head as a greeting "Good day, demigods. It is nice to make your acquaintance"

The Stolls' raised their hand and I raised a brow, before indicating they speak

"When were you born?"

I blinked, well... that was random "I believe that my birth does not concern you, demigod"

The Stolls' frowned and I sighed "But, if you truly want to know, it would be a century ago"

All the occupants in the room perked up when they heard that "May we ask what year you were born?" Katie asked

I gulped and inched a bit closer to Luke and Zoe. If I say any more than what I'm supposed to say, then hiding my identity will surely fly out of the window

Luke, sensing my distress, placed his hand on my shoulder and gave me a squeeze before giving the Half-bloods a scowl worthy of Atlas "Unnecessary question is not needed"

The Olympians and councilors shrunk back into their seats when Luke let a bit of malice seep out of him "Sorry" The Stolls' and Katie muttered while looking anywhere but Luke

I gave Luke a grateful smile "Thanks"

Luke just grinned at me "No problem"

I turned to face the Olympians "Before we actually start this meeting, I would like to tell you that anything that isn't related to war will be ignored. War is coming and we do not need to discuss such trivial things..."

All of the occupants in the room nodded their head and I gave them a smile "Now, according to mother, the one that we'll be facing will be my uncle. And as you all know, fighting against someone who is related to mother is a bit... difficult"

"Believe us, we know..." I heard the councilors mutter

I ignored them and continued "Uncle is different from the Titans or Primordials, he is in a whole other level. He is the brother of Chaos, after all. If you want to win, then I better not see you doing things half assed. I will be training every demigod here along with my team. My army will arrive in a few weeks from now, and before they arrive I want to train all demigods here to at least match their strength against my soldiers"

Malcolm raised his hand "Training? May I ask what kind of training?"

I hummed before smirking at them with a tad bit of pity and sadistic glee "Everything that my soldiers went through, you'll experience..."

I can see the councilors pale at my statement "And... what did your soldiers went through?" Travis asked, his face seems to be screaming that he doesn't want to know

I just smile at them "Nothing too extreme... well, in my opinion"

I saw them gulped and chuckled silently. I glanced around and saw Luke and Zoe stifling a grin along with the others "Now, are there any more questions?"

Piper raised her hand "When will you start training us?"

"Why, tomorrow, of course" I said while grinning slightly "We can't waste time, after all"

"Can it be the day after tomorrow?" Hazel asked, looking paler than usual "We have to do something tomorrow..."

I frowned at them "Is there any occasion tomorrow? If there is, then your training can wait, but if you don't have anything special tomorrow, we'll start training as soon as the sun rises"

The councilors seems to be thinking of anything that might happen tomorrow with the way they scrunched their faces really hard. I stifled a grin and pretended to frown "Well... are there any?"

Thalia suddenly slammed her hand down on the table "There is!!"

"And what might that be, Ms. Grace?" I asked, feeling curious. As far as I remember, we didn't have any special occasion or what else

"It's not exactly tomorrow, but we have to prepare and stuff" Thalia rambled

I sighed and tapped my fingers against the table "Yes yes, but what is the occasion?"

Thalia lowered her head and muttered something, making me raised a brow "Pardon?"

"It's a memorial" Thalia answered

"For who?"

"For my cousin"

I frowned at that, did someone died? More importantly, which side? "And who is this cousin of yours?"

Nico just look at the floor "Can we not talk about this?"

Thalia sighed sadly "Sorry" she muttered

I frowned at that "If you are not willing to tell me, then I will not push you" I stated "I have heard your request. Your training will have to wait, since this boy looks like he was a very important person. And besides, honoring a fallen comrade comes first"

All the councilors gave me grateful smiles "Thank you"

"When is the memorial?" I asked while leaning back

"August 17th" They answered

I froze, August 17th is not only the day of my death but also the day of my birth as an immortal. August 17 is the day where I died as a demigod, and the day where I was reborn as an immortal. Pity, I didn't even get to celebrate my mortal birthday, I died before I can even turn 19.

"I see, then..." I gave them a nod before standing up from my seat. I need some air, staying inside makes me feel suffocated. Especially with the ones who betrayed me just in front of me "Are there any more questions?"

Connor hesitantly raised his hand "Yes?" I asked

"I know that you told us not to ask unnecessary questions, but I just need to know"

I sighed, might as well enlighten them by answering their questions "Go on"

"When were you born?"

I froze, this again? I saw Luke start to move but I help up a hand "Why are you so curious as to when I was born?"

The councilors and the Olympians bit their lips "We just need to know" Aphrodite insisted

I stared at them for a second before sighing "Fine, but if I answer this, no more questions about me"

All of them nodded their heads, looking nervous and eager at the same time "It's the day of the memorial"

All of them seems to freeze up when I said that "The... same... day?"

I gulped, did I leaked a bit too much? I couldn't help it!! They were all looking at me with those persuasive eyes and I couldn't resist. I really need to take lessons from Ethan. He's good at denying others

I nodded and went to walk out "I will be seeing you tomorrow..."

I left the Big House quickly with Luke and the others behind me. Once we were a safe distance, my knees buckled and I found myself kneeling on the ground with tears slipping out of my eyes "Gods!!" I exclaimed while combing back my hair with trembling fingers "I didn't think that it would be this hard!!"

Silena hugged me "You did good"

I sniffed and hugged her back "Seeing them again makes me remember what they did to me"

Michael squat down before patting my shoulder gently "Hey, I don't know what you're feeling right now, but I know that you did good out there"

I just gave them a small smile before pulling back "Can you leave me alone for a minute?"

They seem to hesitate, but relented when I gazed at them with pleading eyes "Okay, we'll go ahead... call for us if you need anything" Silena said while standing up from her position

I nodded and waved them goodbye. I sighed and walked towards the direction of the beach, might as well visit my favorite spot

Upon arriving, I could only gape with horror at what I saw "Fuck" I breathed out

I don't usually cuss, since cussing is a bad thing. But, what I'm seeing right now is worth my cussing

The sea was so dark you can't even see what's underneath the water. The sand feels rough and the breeze that usually calms me was making me feel suffocated, like the very air that was circulating around the beach was not good for my body

"What happened, dad?" I whispered while kneeling and reaching out for the water

I hesitated when my hand was just above the surface. Once my hand touches anything that connects to the sea, Father will be made aware of my presence, but seeing the state of the sea... I can't just leave it like this!!

I stilled my nerves and dipped my hand inside the water. I released a bit of my energy and let it flow out of my hand and into the sea. The reaction was instantaneous, the sea instantly clears and the sand instantly brightened making me sigh with relief

A bright flash behind me made me cringed, the relief was gone, but in its place, is the nervousness of getting to see my Father again. Well, time to meet good ol' daddy!!
