  The weekend was over and so was the girls' freedom. Today cameras would be installed all over their dormitory and they would be recorded almost 24/7 for two weeks.

  Why such a thing? Unlike most JYPE groups, FLASHLIGHT didn't have a predebut show. They did put out some content like covers, original songs and choreographies and vlives, but they never had an actual program.

  Because of that, and hoping to show the girls' relationships and hard work, the company decided to record a small reality.

  It was basically their usual life being recorded, with a few secret missions added - but the members weren't aware of the last part yet.

"I've never seen so many people inside this house."

"Why do we need to be here anyway? We're not doing anything."

"I could be sleeping."

"This whole reality thing is just..."

  The four girls complained, sitting down on the sofa while tons of people walked around their dormitory, installing cameras and checking them.

"You seem very excited."

  The manager approached them with a grin.

"How much longer is this going to take? Can't we leave?"

  Annie, who was the closest to Yujin, asked her.

"They need to talk with you about how things are going to work, wait 10 more minutes, okay? If it takes longer than that I'll talk with them."

  The members nodded, going back to talk or use their phones.

"So, what did you do on the weekend?"

"Bet she stayed at the studio or the practice room."

  The youngest teased Annie.

"What do you think I am!? A machine?"

  She answered, playfully offended.

"I went to a cat shelter, the one we went together once."

  Annie looked at Remi.

"Oh, that's nice- but I heard Stray Kids sometimes volunteer there, did you bump into any of them?"

"How did you know!?"

  She asked, genuinely shocked.

"Did you forget she has a fan account?"

  The leader commented still looking at her phone.

"Oh."

"So who did you meet?"

  Annie let out a heavy sigh, making the other two have their eyes on her.

"No way." "Are you serious?"

"Damn, what a good luck you have."

  She shuggred.

  But thinking back...it actually wasn't that bad. I saw a side of him that I had never seen before. Mrs.Park also seemed to be very fond of him and she doesn't like anyone.

"At least he won't bother me for some time since there will be cameras around."

"Right! That's the only good thing coming from this."

  Remi spoke excited.

"Ah, I also wrote a song."

"Told you."

  Boram raised her brows.

"Can we hear it?"

"Uh..."

  Annie hesitated for a bit.

  The song was rather personal, she wrote after getting Lee Know's words stuck in her head, "who would want you?". Her self esteem isn't low, that's for sure, but she is very aware that Changbin doesn't like her, even though he has never cleared said it, she knows he likes someone else.

"...it's called 'Not in That Way', it's an English song."

  She searched for the file on her phone and connected the earphones.

"Nevermind, I'll listen to it after you give me a full translation."

  Jaein replied, as she was the only member who couldn't really understand the English language.

  Meanwhile, the younger two put the earphones on and clicked play. Annie nervously waiting beside them.

"Wow."

"Wow."

  They slowly took the earphones off, their mouths open and eyes slightly watery.

"This is just..."

"Are you okay?"

  Remi asked the older girl.

"I am! Of course I am!"

  She laughed lightly.

"Do you...like someone?"

  This time, Boram asked her. Questions like these are often made between them as a joke, but her voice expressed honesty.

"Me? No way, you write songs too, you know how we make things up!"

  Annie smiled widely, hiding her feelings.

  I'm sorry for lying, but I'm not ready. I don't want to worry you.

"Exactly. I can tell when something is made up and when it's your true feelings if I hear your voice. Your voice seemed like you were hurting."

  By now, the leader had also put her phone away and was paying attention to their conversation.

"Okay, fine."

  Annie breathed in and out, then put a smile on.

"I went out on Saturday and I saw a strawberry cake that looked incredibly delicious, but I'm on a diet, so I couldn't get it. Then this sentence came to my mind 'I love you, but I'm sure you don't want me'. So, yeah, that's how the song was born...me being sulky about a strawberry cake, I'm sorry if I worried you guys."

  The three stayed silent, exchanging glances.

"Ham, you're full of surprises."

  Remi laughed, hugging the girl.

"That's what we call a genius!"

"Our ace..."

  You guys are fooled very easily, but I love you.

"I'll write a happier song next time, promise."

  The four of them laughed together.

"I'm glad to see you with bigger smiles! Please stay with those as you're now going to meet with the PDs."

  Yujin came back to them and the group got up to talk with the producers.
