Chapter 9: Back again
Zelda's House
After solving the case on drugs and talking to her dead sister, Zelda was more than sure she needed to change the house and try to move on. She was happy that Link offered his help. Zelda looked around, not a single thing was touched since that one day that changed Zelda and her life forever.
"Zelda?" Link's voice snapped her back to reality. "You got everything you need?"
"E-Eh yes, I think I do."
She checked her bags to see if she got all the clothes and stuff she needs.
"Alright, I'll give you a moment."
Link knew Zelda needed a moment to say goodbye to all of this, he knew how hard this all is for her since he has gone through the same.
She took a moment trying to show respect but not waiting too long before she would undo her decision of leaving. She took it all in, but she closed the door to the room with the smiley on the wall, she never wants to go back in there.
After a while Link came back in telling her that they need to leave. Zelda agreed and they went in the car together to Link's house.
When they arrived Link took Zelda's bags and put them where enough space is.
"Link here is a letter for,-for me?" She looked at the letter and it was for her not for Link.
"What did you say?"
"This letter layed on the couch and it isn't for you but for me."
They were confused because no one knew Zelda moved to Link, just their coworkers.
"From who is it anyway?" Link looked at the letter.
"Let me see I didn't check yet." Zelda turned the letter around to see the name of the person to send it. "You know who I am." That is what Zelda saw written on the letter.
"Ah it's Sheik, he always says that." Link was relieved.
"Ah okay, then I'll just open it."
Zelda opens the letter and instantly drops the letter with a scream of fear.
Link instantly turns around to see Zelda crying on the floor.
He runs down to her and holds her hand in an attempt to comfort her.
"Hey what's going on?" Link said trying to calm her nerves with a soft voice.
Zelda just cried into Link's shoulder, he picked up the letter and saw the smile and knew what was going on, he saw a dark red face smiling all over the paper. Link didn't read any of it yet he doesn't need to, that alone is enough to break her down, he puts the letter into his pocket he doesn't want Zelda to have it, she just did some great progress.
Zelda can't stop crying, she sees her family dead on the floor, blood in the entire house. It haunted her for one year and now, just when she got closer to moving on it's back. She couldn't even really hear Link's voice that was trying to calm her down.
After a long time of Zelda's emotions running wild, she was able to somewhat calm down again. She was now under a blanket on the couch with Link, she was resting against his arm that was around her, just to comfort her of course, and it worked well.
They were laying there for a while listening to music.

(for everyone who enjoys's music while reading, it's also what they are listening to.)
When Zelda was calm again, and comfortable in Link's arm she asked Link a question she was afraid of.
"What does the letter say?"
"Are you sure you want to know?"
Link would read it to her if she wants but he wasn't sure it was a good idea.
"Yes I do."
"Okay, the letter says." Link pulled out the letter and reads.
I hope you are calm again now Zelda, of course seeing your family dead again hurt you but I'm sure you can handle it right?
I'm sad that you left, why did you leave the one memory we two have together?
Also, why did you stop looking for me? I thought you were better than that. I am pretty bored to be honest so, I think I will start killing again, until you catch me or until I catch you.
In Love, oh right you didn't even figure out my name yet. I will help you, you can call me
Jerry Tyson.
That was the letter Zelda tried her best not to break down again. Link's grip tightened and he held her closer to him as he read those words.
"Are you okay?" Link brought Zelda back to reality.
"Yeah."
"Liar." It was obvious that she wasn't. "It's okay it's going to be hard especially when he starts killing again, but we can pull through with it, seriously, us together."
"Thank you, Link."
"Always."
Author's Note
So I got vaccinated and my arm hurts a bit so I couldn't really write so this is a shorter chapter.
I'm honestly not sure how long this book will be but I think I'm, halfway through it right now.
Have a good day
Joshi :D
