Hyrule City Police Academy

Zelda and Mipha were watching the students shooting practice. They were all in teams of 2 and with paintball guns they were supposed to react quickly and shoot all threats.

They especially looked at the 7 suspects. These were:

Link, Groose, Sheik, Midna, Malon, Teba and Riju.

When they saw them a few things stood out to her. She saw that Midna and Malon were hesitating to shoot. Teba and Groose were fast Teba is very accurate and Groose is, well, being Groose.

Zelda turned to Mipha "What is it with Link, the other students don't seem to like him."

"Well Link is quiet, he works hard and does his best anytime he needs to. He is better than anyone else and isn't outgoing which makes him unlikable to many."

"Hm okay. That makes sense."

"Okay so after seeing this we can cross some off the list, they were too inaccurate and too slow to be able to kill the victim."

"Right, that leaves us with, Link, Groose, Teba, and Midna. And I know what to do next."

Back in the classroom, Zelda had prepared a lesson on Interview techniques.

"So, there are multiple techniques when doing an interview, some like the famous good cop bad come, some like bad cop worse cop. But just knowing and doing one technique is a mistake you need to be able to use all the methods to get the different types of suspects. Okay, I want to try a little something, anyone volunteer?"

Everybody raises their hand.

"Okay recruit Teba you can come here."

Zelda and Teba sit down at the same table ready to do the fake Interview.

"Mr. Teba thank you for coming for this interview. A crime was committed last night and your name was mentioned I was wondering what you can tell me about it."

"Well I went to the fight club one street further down the road."

"You went alone?"

"No Link, Midna, Groose we all went."

"Did you have anything to drink?"

"Yeah we had a couple of drinks."

Zelda puts a sports bag on the table.

"What's in the bag?" Teba asked nervously.

"Why?"

"You put it there must mean something."

Zelda looked at Link.

"Link take his place."

Link sat down.

"Was Mr. Teba telling the truth were you out last night?"

"Yes."

"Were the 4 of you together all night?"

"No, Sheik and Midna left early."

"Groose was still there when I left that was right before the last fight."

Zelda opened the bag looking at the students Groose became nervous.

"Link do you know what a PED is?"

"Yes it's a performance-enhancing drug."

Groose started sweating and breathing fast and heavily.

"Groose take Link's place."

Groose sat still thinking about it, that's when he suddenly ran out trying to escape.

When he ran out of the classroom Zelda's partners Urbosa and Mipha stood there catching him and hand-cuffing him. 

"You, little one are coming with us."

Groose looked defeated and just gave up fighting. He was caught.

HCPD headquarters 

Groose was sitting on a table waiting for Detective Hyrule to come and interview him.

She came in and started talking to him.

"So Groose you were trying to run away can you tell me why?"

"I needed some fresh air." Groose obviously lied.

"Okay and did you take any PED's with you on the way?"

"No."

"Okay then tell me. Why did we find these," She puts a bag full of PED's on the table. "in your room and even more in your locker."

Groose was at a loss of words.

"And why did we find a letter threatening the victim on his locker that has your fingerprints on it?"

Groose still didn't answer.

"And why did we find a gun that was recently shot in your Room that perfectly fits the weapon our victim was killed with?"

"You, my friend, are going to be locked away for a very very long time."

That's when the lawyer came in the room and told Detective Hyrule to leave. She did as told and went to her coworkers. 

"Well, how did it go?"

"He didn't say anything, but we got him."

"Okay great."

Time skip to the court hearing.

"And with that, the court decided that all points made against Groose, are invalid and that he is innocent of the murder."

The whole room went quiet. No one believed what they just heard. Everybody was confused except Groose and his father. They sat their clapping their hands and feeling good. Groose sent a cheeky smile towards Detective Hyrule.

Groose came over to Detective Hyrule and to Link saying "Thank you that was a lot of fun for me. I got you two a little present you'll find it back at your homes."

Link and Detective Hyrule became very scared and rushed home to their families. 

When Link arrived he saw a red smiley on his house door. It looked like it was made with blood. When he entered his house he saw a letter that read.

"My dear Link even though you might think it was me. It wasn't I mean i was in court how could i've done this. This is revenge for all those motnhs i spent in prosion during the inverstiagation. This is for how you treated me when you looked down on me in class.

 Love by me, you know who I am."

Link layed the letter down, picking up his gun and walking into his sisters room.

He couldn't believe what he saw. He saw another red smiley on the wall, laying under it, the body of his dead family members. His sister, father, and mother.

Link broke down and cried. He cried for hours, his whole world layed in blood before his hands, he called the police that came and took him away into the Headquaters.

When Zerlda came home, she had the same letter the same smiley, the same bodies laying on the floor liefless full with blood.

She was also taken to the headquaters.

Their whole world broke down. It just dissappeared before their hands, one day their life was going well the next you find your family dead on the floor. 

And you're alone. 

No one is with you.

It's just you.

That's it.

Author's note:

I know this was dark and maybe a bit brutal. 

I hope it didn't scare anyone. If I did please tell me and i edit it less brutal and less "scary"
