"What do you mean Scar? You can't just bring them here!" Chris complained. He was yelling her ear off after the scene ended. He was not happy that Scarlett brought the girls here without even consulting him. 

"Can you stop yelling!" Scarlett asked him very annoyed. She hated that he was acting this way. And even if they really had been stupid of her she really didn't appreciate that he was yelling. Especially because she knew that Nicole was listening. 

"Why should I? You completely forgot that I was here too. And I should have been part of the discussion. And since you decided to leave me out of the discussion our friends are gonna be questioning us!" He said. 

The two continued to have a very heated discussion while in the other room Ava and Nicole were sitting. No one else was around because they were filming a scene outside so it was okay.  Ava looked over at Nicole who was staring at the wall hurt. 

"Hey, are you okay?" Ava asked. Nicole shook her head. 

"I knew I probably shouldn't have come here. He doesn't like me." Nicole said. Ava sat up and looked at her friend. 

"That's not true!" Ava tried to reason but Nicole was already down this path and she wasn't going to listen to her best friend. 

"I should have guessed that he doesn't like me. I knew that. It has been so obvious since day one I could have told you that! He looks at me like he was wishing I would leave. He hoped that I would go home and be out of his life." 

"Why on Earth would he think that?" Ava asked. Nicole was silent she really didn't know why Chris would hate her. All she knew was that he didn't want her there. She could hear from all the yelling on the other side of that wall. 

"I don't know but I know he doesn't." Was the only thing that she answered. She didn't want to hate Chris, she wanted to have a good relationship with both of them yet here she was. It wouldn't fo well. 

Before the two girls could finish there chat they heard Chris yelling for Scarlett to come back and finish their conversation. A few seconds later she saw Scarlett coming towards them with a smile on her face. She looked as if nothing had even happened. 

"Hey girls!" She smiled. Even her voice was proof that she was pretending that nothing happened. Scarlett was smiling at them. "What are you doing?" 

"Nothing much," Nicole answered. She was still upset about her conclusion with Chris. Scarlett knew that she had probably heard the conversation but now wasn't a good time to bring it up. And Chris brought this one himself. He has been shutting Nicole out since day one. 

"Well um, my cast wants to meet you guys. If that's okay of course." She asked looking at the two of them.  Ava was practically jumping in her seat. The moment she got on set she has been freaking out and wanting to talk to everyone there. 

"YESS YES YES! I REALLY HAVE -" 

"We would love to," Nicole said interrupting Ava before she went full fangirling. Scarlett smiled and lead the girls out of the room. She led them to what looked like a break room, but instead of horrible tables and chairs was a bunch of set chairs each with the name of a cast member. 

Ava was freaking out because sitting in some of the chairs was Robert Downey Jr, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, and Chris Hemsworth. Nicole was star struck but she was able to hold it in better than her best friend. 

"SCAR JO!" Jeremy yelled. Scarlett shook her head annoyed with Jeremey's comment. 

"Do not call me that!" She said sternly. Jeremy laughed and Robert eyed the two girls questioning. 

"Who are you, kids?" He asked raising an eyebrow. The girls were speechless and Scarlett was looking at them before cutting in. 

"Guys, well um." Scarlett knew that she wouldn't like to tell them. Not now at least because she wanted her family to know. They would know tonight. And she wanted Chris to change his attitude. "These are my friend's kid. And her best friend. I am hanging out with them after work. I thought it would be nice if they came with me. "She lied perfectly. No one could even tell that she lied. 

"Well, I guess that you two are what 10?" Jeremy asked with a smile on his face. Nicole was looking offended Scarlett was almost laughed. 

"Actually I am 13. I just turned 13." She said. Jeremy held up his hands, just as he has done many times to Scarlett whenever he offends her. 

"Well, you and Scarlett surely have been spending time together." he laughed. 

"Hey do I know your parents?" Chris Hemsworth asked turning his head. He was looking at Nicole very seriously. 

"No I don't think so," Nicole said calmingly. She was almost as good of a liar as her mother. But unfortunately, she was like Chris and had a tell. Her nose flared when she lies and Robert was catching on to that. 

"Chris how would you know her parents. She just said that the girls are an old friends daughter." Mark said taking a sip of his coffee. Chris frowned trying to understand why she looked so familiar. Jeremy was being to look at her strangely as well. But what concerned Scarlett the most was Robert. 

He was giving Scarlett a knowing look. He knew something. She wasn't sure what. But he knew something and it was going to drive her insane until she knew what it was. And when Chris walked into the room behind Scarlett a look on his face proved he figured it out. 

Robert had figured out who Nicole was.
