Lui's pov

I was waiting for Shui to wake up. I don't know why the hell she jumped from the cliff. What was she doing there? By the way, her fever is a bit low. She was coughing a few times. She was panting. I was stroking her hair to relax her. While I was stroking her hair, I noticed that she was coming closer to me and I was blushing. Why the hell was I blushing?

I think something happened to her. She looks so depressed, poor thing. I guess she is hurt. I suddenly noticed a few marks on her left hand. These marks were of a knife. Did someone hurt her or did he do it on her own? I was worried now, just waiting for her to wake up. 

She looked very tired. It was going to be morning, even I was tired. My eyes were closing and I didn't remember when my eyes closed. I suddenly heard Shu i" Uh...Nngh", "Wake Up," I said slowly shaking her but then I suddenly thought to leave her to rest cause she might be sore. I was going to leave that's when I saw Shui opening her eyes. "Shui, Shui are you ok?"I said in a worried tone, I thought why am I worried about her we are enemies. "L-Lui," he asked in a shocked tone, "Yeah, it's me"

Shui's pov

I was shocked to see Lui sitting in front of me. He was looking right into my eyes. Somehow I found myself blushing. Why the heck I'm blushing? He came close to me and started to stroke my hair to relax me and asked " Shui are you okay? Shu?" I was frozen like a piece of ice. He asked the same question again, I was still like a statue. " Y-yeah," I said " No you are not, you should rest right now. Don't forget that we are enemies but I just saved you 'cause I don't want to lose an opponent like you."

I was shocked to hear that he thinks that I'm a good opponent. "No, we are not enemies we are rivals," I said and he was shocked.

Lui's pov

I never expected someone to say that. I thought carefully about what he said. She was right, I use to think that we are enemies but she just saw me as a rival? I am such a mean person, who only cares about himself. I was ashamed in front of her. " Are you okay Lui?" she asked, " Y-yeah but why are you asking me?" I asked her, "You spaced out from last 10 min" "Oh," I said.

Their conversation~

Lui: Now answer my question

Shui: Yeah ask

Lui: So tell me that, Why the heck did you jump off the cliff? What was wrong with your brain? You are too young to do suicide. You scared me, I thought you died cause you looked deadly pale and stopped breathing. 

Shui: *Give a sad expression to Lui*

Lui: I'm really sorry for that. I didn't mean that much. I think you might have a horrible past or something?

Shui: Do you want to hear why did I try to commit suicide?

Lui: Yeah

Shui: So listen, My parents were always busy. They never gave me time cause they didn't have to. When I was 7 years old, they rented a flat for me so I could stay alone. At first, I was totally alone but then I got a friend. He was Valt, he was very tender. He always helped me.  Years passed and we became closer. I felt a weird feeling for him which is also known as love. 

We fell in love, we started dating each other. Our first date was going well until a call came. That call ruined our date. I don't know that person and not even what that person said. Valt just said that he had to go. Months passed, and we were dating frequently. One day, I went to school and saw Valt he was extremely happy. 

After our school ended I went to the roof and saw that Valt was not there. I asked everyone but no one knew about him. I found Nika and Toko, I asked them where was Valt. They said that he had something urgent so he left. I practiced all alone. After practicing, I left the school. I was returning when I saw Valt and Free kissing each other. I was left heartbroken. I ran home crying, I reached my apartment and locked it. I was crying badly, I didn't feel well so I didn't eat anything and went to bed. Then suddenly heard a knock on my door. I opened it and saw Daigo. 

He asked me what happened and I said everything. He helped me. Now I had a friend again. One day, Daigo told me that he had to leave the town because of his father's transfer. He left, and now I was alone and heartbroken. Now I had no one. So I decided to jump off the cliff. That's why I tried to commit suicide.

Lui: How did you get those cuts on your left hand?

Shui: I was so depressed that I just wanted to feel the physical pain.

Lui: So, that is why you cut your hand? So sad, that was a long story. If you want you can stay here, by the way, you are not well. I guess you need to heal your broken heart.  

Shui: Yes *Starts Crying*

Lui: Shh... don't cry *Comforts Shui*. If you want you can come to Rideout School. By the way, you are only the blader who is capable of me. If you come here then we can practice together.

Shui: Thanks, I will and I would love to practice with you. You are so nice *cries*

Lui: As I said don't cry, by the way, the first time someone said this thing to me. I never thought that I would hear this thing from you.

Shui: Really?

Lui:  Yeah really

Shui: So what is your backstory?
