this was a request from lokiplayz for a tutorial on how to draw dutch angel dragons. i used sora as the example dragon for this, since she's my fursona. :3
   lets get started then!

start with a simple circle. use guidelines to help position the eyes and muzzle.

draw in the muzzle and the ears. i also tend to make the cheeks look fluffier. you don't have to draw the fangs sticking out of their mouth like i do, but it looks better with my particular style.

add the eyes and other facial features. (ex: horns, facial spikes, feathers, tufts of fur, etc.)
i drew her winking just because it tends to make her look cuter. :3

start drawing the chest area. it's better if you sketch out where the shoulders will be while you're drawing the chest, just so you have an idea of where the arms are in comparison to the rest of the body.

draw out the closer of the two front paws. also, start sketching out the rest of the midsection.

add the closer of the two legs. when/if you decide to make one paw facing towards you, try to use a rounded trapezoid as a base shape. it makes it easier to draw out the paw itself.

draw the other arm and the other leg. i like to add tufts of fur on the backs of their legs, but that is optional.

draw out the basic wing shape. for the purpose of this tutorial, i made her wings larger. feel free to make them smaller/larger if you wish.

sketch out the details within the wing. you can add as many layers of feathers as you want, but i prefer to limit it to three layers.

draw the other wing. use the same technique as you did with the other.

sketch out the basic shape of the tail. i usually make the tail longer, just cuz you can do more with it.

add other details to the tail. (ex: spikes, feathers, tufts of fur, etc.)

make them look fluffier! more fluff makes them look cuddlier! :3

erase all of the guidelines. whenever i do traditional art, i tend to trace it over with a sharpie and then erase everything that i didn't trace over.

add markings! it makes them more unique!

lastly, add color! make your dutchie stand out!
