A pretty red haired girl was behind the glass. The man Ike walked in the get his keys. "Edward I'm going to drive Adam home. Can you hold the place together?" "Yes sir. Um... Who is this girl?" I pointed at the girl behind the glass. He looked at her with a sad look. "That's Annabeth Black. She's the reason we started this all." "Why? Is she your daughter? Wife? Sister?" "She's my friend. And Adams sister."

"What is she to Mr. Nathan? I saw him looking at her." "Nathan is her friend." "But your her friend. And you don't look at her with nearly as much love in her eyes as he does." He chuckled, "I love her as a sister or a daughter. Nathan loves her like he wants to marry her." "But what if someone else loves her like that?" He glanced at me. "Why? I would stay away from her unless you to fight Nathan for her."

I watched Annabeth till Ike got back. I jumped when he spoke to me. "I was being serious when I said stay away from her." "Why?" I challenged. "Because for one she has 3 men protecting her. "True. If you get out of that one alive you have to get though Adam. He can mix a deadly contagion that could kill you in a heart beat with out you knowing what hit you." I had a answer to this as well. "I could look into the future and stop him."

"Also true. But then you have me. I could pick you up and ram you into walls with out even having to be on the same planet." I ran this though my head. "Ok but I said if." He chuckled. "This as well is true. You should get to bed." I went the bed room Ike had let me use for the past couple nights. As I drifted into sleep I thought of the girl behind the glass.
