You are hidden away in L's floor which was off limits to the others. Everyone still thought you were dead, so far, the plan was going well. You sat on the bed and stayed quiet as you could. The taskforce were in the room below you so you were extra careful with the amount of noise you made.

You were reading a book the grim reapers gave you, it explained so much about the other realms and how to be a reaper. Apparently demons exist too, it was all so fascinating. But there was a page that made everything click. 

Angels.

Angels aren't people who have died apparently, there people who are pure, people who are so good, their presence can cleanse others. The reason no one else can see wings is because of your born human, they're an invisible force.

If you were born other worldly you could see them and they were an actual force.

The reason you could see them was in your genetics. You never knew you parents, so who knows how you came to see them but all you know is you can, and you can tell whose an angel or not. Or rather... a fallen angel.

Everything was marking sense. Even though you were a grim reaper, you finally felt like you knew who you were.

"Still reading that book?"

You looked up to see L.

"Yep, and I know why you're an angel now" you said.

"Tell me tonight, I have to be back down in HQ, I just came up to say hi, and get my headphones"

"Ok, sound like a plan"

"Oh hey, do me a favour" L said.

"Yeah?"

"Show me your teeth"

You were confused but you gave a toothy smile.

"Your teeth are pointy"

You got up and looked over in the mirror, they weren't sharp but they were pointed.

"Huh, must be a reaper thing"

"You better not bite me with those" he said.

"No promises" you smirked.

L walked over and gave you a quick kiss on the cheek.

"See you tonight, my akuma"

He left and closed the door behind him.

Akuma? You liked that name.

You went back to your book, this plan should go smoothly of you could just see Misa before Light tries to make his move...
