The absolute worst thing about L being handcuffed to Light was you couldn't do anything to hint that you were beginning to want a little more from L. Nothing too extreme but you still wanted something. And on top of that everyone had a new target. The yotsuba group, although you were interested in the whole Kira case, you were quite worried that you'd fail to save L so you wanted to spend as much time with L as you could. It didn't help that Light was crushing on you either. You decided to take a little break from the case to write a song that hopefully L could unravel the meaning of.

You sat in front of your microphone knowing that L would be watching, you turned on your mic and grabbed your guitar.

"Baby can't you see, I'm calling, a guy like you should wear a warning..."

MEANWHILE WITH L

As he sat in front of the monitors, bored out of his mind, he watched you get your microphone ready, wondering what you were going to sing, and what message it hid this time. When you began to sing he played close attention to the lyrics and became slightly confused.

"Tease of your lips I'm on a ride, you're toxic I'm slipping under..."

But it suddenly clicked on an instant.

'Wait... does he want to...' L thought. He paused and listened to the rest.

"With the taste of a poison paradise I'm addicted to you don't you know that your toxic" you sing into the mic.

'Does she want to go all the way... were still to young aren't we? Unless she doesn't want to go that far but wants more from me... it must be because I'm attached to Light... it doesn't help that light likes her either...' L thought to himself.

BACK WITH YOU

When you finished recording you sat back and waited for the text you knew L would send since he couldn't talk about his around Light.

Beep!

There it was. You picked up your phone and looked at the message.

Lawlipop: don't worry, I'll get these cuffs off as soon as possible. But just to clarify... are you suggesting... all the way?

You: not exactly all the way... I just want to spend more time with you in case I screw up... I want good memories

Lawlipop: (y/n) you won't screw up, I believe in you, but if you want more from me then I'm ok with that. Once these handcuffs are off you're free to mess around with me as much as you like

You smiled to yourself before replying.

You: ok, but those cuffs better come off soon!

Lawlipop: as soon as we have a yotsuba suspect. Then I'm all yours ;)
