You woke up and dragged yourself out to the monitor room, not bothering to change out your pyjamas, that were really just L's shirt and some shorts. You rubbed your eyes and yawned as you walked into the room.

"Morning" you said.

"Good morning Ayano" Light said.

"Morning sleepy head" L chimed in.

When your vision cleared you saw that everyone was hard at work and L was wearing the butterfly headphones you made him.

"Nice headphones" you joked.

"Of course there nice, you made them"

You sat down next to L and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Woah, you made those?" Light said.

"Yeah, I got bored one day. I have a matching set too" you replied.

"You're very talented Ayano"

"Thank you"

You still didn't trust Light, but you had to act oblivious to the fact you knew he was up to something.

"How's your eye?" L asked.

Oh yeah, you bashed your eye yesterday.

"It's still a little sore" you said.

"Keep the eyepatch for a few days, you'll be alright"

L turned to you and gently kissed against the eyepatch.

"Kissing it better?" You said.

"Of course"

Suddenly there was a high pitched squeal from the top of the stairs that made everyone jump. You turned to see Misa fangirling as usual.

"SO CUTE! You're even wearing his shirt oh my god you're adorable together!" She squealed.

"Oh lord" L said.

"Everyday" you said under your breath as Misa sprinted down the stairs.

Misa skipped over to Light and plopped herself into his lap, Light obviously not liking the action.

"Good morning light" she cooed.

"Good morning Misa"

Light sounded very un-amused, but Misa just overlooked it.

You spun in your chair and sighed.

"Where has Kira been?" You said.

"Either resting or trying to find a new person to act as Kira" Light said.

"Or he's already killing but it's not obvious to us yet" L jumped in.

Light glared at L for one-upping him. Again.

You spun over to L and leaned against him, yawning in the process.

"I'm tired" you said.

"Did you not sleep last night?"

"Not really, I'm still not used to having you and Light in the same room as me"

"I'm not used to human contact but look where I am now, you'll get used to it" L said.

You giggled and snuggled up to L.

"That's so you, allergic to the entire spectrum of human emotion"

L wrapped his arms around you and hugged you tightly.

"Except for love" he said.

You smiled up at him and gave him a peck on the lips, earning another squeak from Misa.

It was quiet as everyone worked. The two girls clinging to their boyfriends and watching as they typed.

You looked around the room, everyone was deep in their work. You scanned for anything unusual, Misa clinging to light as always and L stuffing his face with candy, all normal. Except Light, he seemed to be glaring at L again. A glare that could kill... what was he so worked up about?

'Maybe he really is Kira? That's why he's glaring at L, he's plotting something or...' you thought.

Flashback

"I know... he must be jealous"

"Over me? Psht please..."

"He could be, your not as bad as you think you are honey, I wouldn't be surprised if he fought me for you... I-I would hate it if he won..."

"Lawlipop listen, I'm yours and only yours. I've waited years to be with you I wouldn't just throw it away, I love you alright" you said.

Flashback end

Could he really be jealous? Does he actually want you and is mad at L for already having you? What's he up to?...

That's when it hit you. The wings you saw, you could use them.

You looked around the room the taskforce either didn't have any or had very small wings. L had his usual extremely bright and beautiful angel wings. You turned to Misa, she didn't have white or light coloured wings, she had smaller, darker wings. And so did Light. His wings were pitch black and didn't even look like an angels, more like a... creature. A... shinigami maybe?

Could this mean he's Kira? Or maybe he's just done something bad?

You looked at both L and Light, one pitch black set of 'shinigami' wings and one bright, blueish-white set of angel wings. What does it all mean?
