Ever since writing Can't help falling in love earlier that day, you've been a writing machine, cranking out song after song. But you came up with something new, something for L. You called it L's theme, there were no words or anything, just music. It was simple.

The piano in the song represented L. The guitar represents Kira and the drums represent the taskforce. It started with just piano, aka L on his own, then the guitar comes in, which meant Kira had appeared, then the drums, which meant the taskforce joining L and suddenly the guitar strikes really loudly, representing Kira striking with a big action. Then the piano and drums join in, representing the mess of work everyone had to do in response to Kira.

Then it's the piano again, meaning L had gotten back on track and the guitar comes in, meaning Kira is back, then the drums, then another big guitar strike. Everyone the song ends with the guitar fading out, the lone piano playing for a little longer before the song ending. Meaning L won and justice was served. You spent all night on the song and put it on a disk. You wrote 'play me' on a sticky note and stuck it over the label that said L's theme and left it on the table before you went out to meet Misa the next morning. You hoped L would have fun with the little puzzle of music you created.

You walked down to the park and found Misa at the gazebo where you filmed last time.

"Hey! I got the camera!" Misa said.

"I have my guitar! And I have a plan" you said.

Misa nodded to show she was listening.

"I start alone under the gazebo then start to walk through the park, then I'll walk down the street and continue to sing. It will cut to the front of a building aka, the hotel staying at and sing outside that. I'll eventually walk down the hallways of the hotel and... well, I'll have to ask Ryuga if he'll be in the video... I know he hates showing his face in camera, but he's taller than me so we could cut off his face maybe? If not then I'll finish the song outside my hotel room door and when the song ends, I'll open it and walk inside, the screen fades to black and you hear me say 'hey honey' bam! Song ends" you explained.

"That sounds great!" Misa said.

She was about to turn in the camera when she remembered something she had to ask you.

"Oh yeah, you and Ryuga... has he confessed yet?

You couldn't tell her you were in a relationship with L, that would be dangerous. But... she doesn't know Ryuga is L... and she is your best friend...

"Well..."

"Well?"

"Yeah..."

"OMG AYANO! IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!" She squeaked.

"Thanks?" You said.

"Have you kissed yet?"

"Multiple times" you laughed.

"AHH SO CUTE!"

"Let's not get off topic, video time!" You said.

Misa turned on the camera and gave you a thumbs up when it was recording, you began to strum at the guitar and sing the words to your song as you started to walk through the park, Misa walking backwards in front of you as she filmed you. You made it all the way out of the park by the halfway point of the song when she stopped filming.

"Ok, too the hotel!" She said.

"Hold on I gotta call Ryuga..."

You picked up your phone and dialled his number. He picked up almost instantly.

"Hey sweetheart" he said.

"Hey Lawlipop, I'm filming a music video to the song I sang you yesterday... I know that we can't let anyone know our hotel and all... but I have to for my video, we're moving hotels tomorrow anyway..."

"That's ok, as long as you blur out the name and room number. Is anyone with you?"

"Misa is" you said.

"As long as you don't tell her our new hotel" L said.

"Ok, also... I know you can't ever show you face to people... but this song is about you... can you be in the video?" You asked.

"Honey you know I can't be shown to anyone"

"No, I mean we'd cut it off at your neck so you're face isn't there" you said.

"Hmm... what if you do that and change the shot to silhouettes?" L suggested. "I want to do this for you but I have to take all the precautions possible"

"That's fine, I just want to make this video for you, I have a plan B if you want"

"No it's alright (y/n) as long as the only thing you can see of me is a silhouette and no one knows it's L and just thinks is some random guy" L said.

"I'll be sure to hide you, that's for sure, thank you so much"

"It's no problem, and that CD you left, L's theme..."

"Oh you found that?"

"Yep, it was pretty easy to figure out the piano is me the guitar is Kira and the drums are the taskforce, you're amazing at musical things (y/n) I loved it" he said.

"Thanks, I'm glad you liked it"

"But I was disappointed about one thing"

You felt your heart drop a little by those words.

"O-oh, what was it?"

"There was no instrument representing you" he said.

You smiled at his words.

"I'll add one in if it's that important to you" you said.

"You better add one in, anyway I'll see you soon?"

"I'll be there soon, Love you!"

"Love you too, bye!"

And with those words he hung up, you turned to Misa who was playing on her phone and tapped her shoulder.

"We're good, lets go!"

"Awesome!"

You and Misa walked back to the hotel and filmed the part outside and in the hallway before you knocked on your room door and waited for L to answer. The door clicked and you saw L standing in front of you, smiling down at you.

"Hello again" he said.

"Hi"

You and Misa walked inside and began to set up a sheet and a light to make the silhouettes for the video, Misa set up the camera and you positioned L behind the sheet, you went over and double checked the camera to make sure you could barely see L and went back to grab your guitar.

"And action!" Misa said, hitting record.

"But I can't help, falling in love with..."

You walked behind the sheet and put your guitar down, looking up at L.

"You..."

You smiled up at L and stood on you tiptoes, giving him a quick peck on the lips.

"Cut! AHHH SO CUTE!" Misa squeaked.

You pulled down the sheet and turned the lamp off.

"Oh shut up" you laughed.

"I'll take this to my editor right away!" Misa said.

"Send me the finished product and I'll upload it" you said.

"Ok cool, it was great seeing you guys again!" Misa said.

"You too!" You said.

"I have a photoshoot in ten minutes I have to go, bye guys!" Misa said, dashing out the door.

"Bye!"

"Bye Miss Amane!"

"I'll message you!" She yelled from down the hall.

You closed the door and turned to L.

"Now about adding an instrument for you?" He said.

"I'll get right on it"
