1-The landing
A bright star was nearing earth. Is flew peacefully through the space and neared it's destination. It landed on the planet Earth, the nearest planet on which existed life.
The star landed safely and it connected itself to the lively planet.
(Erik's POV)
I felt like I was just born. My head hurt like hell and I was surrounded in darkness. The last thing I remembered was that I was falling onto something that looked similar to a cemetery. I stretched out my arm and grabbed the chunk of hard soil next to me, pulling myself onto my feet.
I found myself in an unknown environment, which was a lot different from what I remembered. It was nighttime and the sky had a dark color and it was splattered with stars. I stood on ground covered in dark green grass and was surrounded by big green trees. Slight breeze was flowing and it was quite cold.
I noticed light in the far away, so I decided to inspect the matter. As I stepped away from my current spot, something fell out of my pocket. I carefully picked it up, discovering it was one of the record spheres that were used for messaging.
I swiped my finger over the glassy surface and the little familiar light lit up inside of it. This one was blue and it had a small golden outlining cage. A female's voice spoke to me from the message. She beckoned me to find the princess. I thought I heard that voice somewhere, but I didn't know where.
When the recording ended, I neared the light. As I found out later, it was a small cabin. I first knocked on the door, but after a minute of waiting, I tried to open it and it was unlocked.
The inside was nicely furnished and looked as if someone lived here.
"Well, well, look who is here."
I turned my head to the somewhat familiar voice, only to find a caramel-skinned man staring at me with his black eyes.
"Is it you Nadir?" I asked recognizing one of my old friends. Well, actually, my only friend.
"I see you haven't changed at all. And you know, I am kind of glad." He patted my shoulder.
"And you haven't changed as well. And you know I am sorry for that?" I gave him a punch into the shoulder. He had to be used to it by now.
"Still as humorous as ever..." Nadir sighed.
"So tell me, my dear old friend," I spoke as I sat myself down on one of the armchairs. "Why are you here?"
"Hard to explain, but I am helping everybody who came here in search of the princess. I have it as my official job and although it is kind of annoying when I have all these people here, I am so glad that I finally have someone who can understand me!" Nadir explained. I sighed.
"So, what are you supposed to help me with?" I asked as I stood back up from the armchair.
"Okay." Nadir said as he pulled out a big map of, what I presumed to be the nearby area. "We are here." Nadir pointed to the little red dot at the furthest corner of the map. "And, as estimated by the people who sent you down here, our princess is somewhere here." He pointed to a colored in circle in the middle of the map.
"What is this?" I pointed my finger an a small oranamentally drawn square.
"That, my dear friend, is the Opera Populaire. I would think that the princess might be there, since I heard that she liked music when she was up there."
'Although he doesn't look like it, this guy has logic sense.' I sarcastically thought to myself.
"I would say that you might go there tommorow morning to check it out. But now, we must celebrate!" Narid folded the map back up. "How were you all the time?"
'Typical Nadir...' I thought to myself, smiling a bit.
