Blue Violet ~ These beautiful, hot-hued blooms are said to represent trustworthiness. The Blue Violet flower symbolises faith, affection, intuition and love.

   I was greeted by my father once I entered the palace; he seemed to be having another conversation with the head guard," I am pleased to see you are alright Jasmine." My father said as a slight smile graced his lips, extending his arm out to gently hold me shoulder.

A normal father would have hugged their daughter, almost in tears if they had been worried for their life. But not my father, he was very formal with his way of 'worrying' over me.

I gently moved my shoulder away from his grasp," Yes. I am quite alright, Father..." I replied, keeping my composure the best I could with my wings tucked behind me.

His smile flattened a bit from my action, but shrugged it off," Well. For your own safety, I'll be keeping you inside your chambers for the time being." My father statedm" I'll have the guards escort-"

" No no no! That is quite alright!" I say, rather too quickly," I am capable enough to walk up stairs by myself."

My father only nodded his head in response. I turned my back to them and made my way upstairs to my chambers.

Once in the safety of my own room, I let out a sigh that I had been holding in. I looked around the room and saw that everything was in the same state it was when I left it.

By now, it was evening, and the sun began to slowly set upon the kingdom, painting the sky with beautiful colors as the shadows of the night came.

I plopped myself down on my large bed before falling back on it," What's is going to happen next..?" I huff, looking up at my ceiling," Is Maroon going to magically pop up out of-"

" Hey."

I literally shot up in the air, falling onto the floor like last time. I looked directly over at my window seal to see Maroon perched on it with his black wings fully expanded, giving me his signature smirk," My lord Maroon! Knock next time!" I scold, holding my hand above my heart," You are going to kill me one of these days!"

Maroon chuckled and hopped into my room, lending his hand out to me. I accepted his hand and allowed his to pull me back onto my feet. I dusted my dress off before glaring up at Maroon," What in the heavens are you doing here?" I question, placing my hands on my hips in hope of intimidating Maroon," You do know that the whole guard is looking for you?"

He nods his head," Yup."

" Then why are you here?"

" Cause," He walks over to my bed and sit himself down," what better place to hide than in the princess's chambers?"

I couldn't help but laugh," You are so stupid..." I say, smiling as I sat down next to him. I lean against Maroon's arm, feeling him grow tense, then relaxed again.

" You doubt me too much princess." Maroon states, tracing his hand down my face," Have a little faith, aye?"

I giggled," Aye..."

A small blush crept onto my face as Maroon's hand remained cupping my left cheek, but I took no notice of it as I stared deep into Maroon's rudy red eyes. It was like I was in a trance.

" You have...the most beautiful pair of blue eyes I have ever seen." Maroon state's, gently rubbing his thumb against my cheek," You know that, right?"

I slowly shake my head," No, but I do now." I reply, smiling up at Maroon. I rub my face against his warm hand, causing a light blush to spread on his face.

" Jasmine..." Maroon began as he slowly leaned down, brushing his lips against my own. I felt my heartbeat speed up to the point it felt like it was going to explode out of my chest, and all of my blood rushed to my cheeks. I slowly melted into the kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck. Maroon's lips felt so warm and soft, so...perfect. But after what seemed like eternity, we separated, leaning our foreheads against each other as we stared lovinging into each other's eyes," I love you."

I felt my heart skip a beat," Y-You...you mean it?" I ask, an anxious feeling growing inside me.

Maroon wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close to his chest. He closed the small gap between us again, giving another loving kiss before saying," Every word."

I felt tears of joy fall from my eyes," I-I love you too Maroon." And with that, we kissed again. The kiss soon became more heated; my hands were tangled in Maroon's hair while his remained gripping my waist.

Maroon pushed his tongue through my lips, licking the bottom of my mouth, asking for entrance. I, having no idea on what to do, accepted him. I felt him smirk against my lips as he explored every inch on my mouth.

" M-Maroon..w-wait..." I pull myself away from Maroon's lips, looking up at him with a deep, red blush covering my face," A-Aren't we taking this t-too fast..?

A loving smile came across his face," Of course not princess," he says, giving my swollen lips a quick peck," saying 'I love you' is a big deal. All I want to do is show you my love..."

He slowly pushed me down on my bed, hovering above me. He leaned down a whispered in my ear," If you'll let me..."

I had no words at that moment, so I nodded in response," Aww...too shy to speak?" Maroon teased, nibbling on my ear," Don't worry...I'll take care of you."

Maroon kissed my lips one last time before trailing down my jaw line, biting and sucking at my skin," M-Maroon!" I moaned.

I felt him smile against my skin as he continued to leave a trail of kisses down towards my collar bone. Maroon slowly pulled my dress down, spreading more kisses over my body. His hands ran all over my body, and my wings were spread out wide behind me.

" I-I love you Maroon..." I say, stopping Maroon from going further.

He looked up at me and smiled a loving smile, giving my lips another sweet peck," I love you too princess. Now," he began, slipping my dress complete off me," allow me to show you..."

And with that, Maroon continued to kiss down my body, leaving a trail of hickeys as he went.
