Fallacy pov
Me and Jasper where getting ready for the council. I told Encre to stay in my room where he would be safe. I heard a knock on the front door. "I'm coming!" I heard suave say. "good evening gentleman." He said politely. The three men just walked in saying nothing. I walked down the stairs with Jasper close behind me. "good evening." I said to them. "good evening lord fallacy." they said and bowed. "sit down please." I said as polite as I possibly could. They sat down and me and Jasper sat on the other side of them. It was quiet for a moment until the man that sat in the center of the three council members spoke up. "As the letter informed you we came here with an anonymous tip that you are holding a mortal in your castle." "Well the tip was wrong i am not holding a mortal here." I said a little annoyed. "Then why is there an odd scent in your castle?" Another member asked. 'crap...' I thought. "And what is that?" The thirth member asked pointing at some of Encre's art supplies. "um..." What do I say? "My father likes to paint from time to time." Jasper quickly said. "Alright but that still doesn't explain the odd scent..." Said the council member in the center. At that moment Encre walked in seemingly forgotten that the council was here. "Fallacy have you seen my...art...supplies?" He said starting to panic as his glance landed on the council. "who is this?" Asked the member on the left slightly angered. The member on the right stood up and was immediately in front of Encre. He pinned Encre to the wall. Encre was shivering in fear. "HEY let him go!" I said standing up. "So you are the mortal Fallacy tries to hide from us." The council member that had Encre pinned to the wall said. "let's see why." He said bringing his mouth closer to Encre's neck. Encre was on the brim of crying. I rushed towards them and pinned the member to the other wall making him let go of Encre. "I said LET HIM GO!" I yelled in his face. Jasper came up to Encre and helped him to his room, but the council member that first sat in the middle followed them. 

(*cough cough* long chapter *cough* almost 400 words *cough* cliffhanger... what will happen to Encre and Jasper see this and more next chapter!
